Nikos the owner is as accommodating as you will find any other Greek, always on hand for any queries or questions that you have. The property itself is basic but has the essentials that you need to enjoy your stay other than something to wash up with, air con was super cold which was needed during 40 degree days and 26 degree nights and the property was cleaned regularly Make sure you go and have a couple of cocktails in the evening during happy hour, the Niko's Special is a decent drink and as always it's free pour measures, make sure you ask to see the old Photos when the hotel used to be the only one there

As mentioned there is nothing to do any washing up with should you use any of the plates / glasses / cutlery during your self catering stay. Cooking wise there is also only 1 hob so you will need to consider what your cooking and ensure it can be done in one pan The bed is also a little firm to say the least but you get used to it after a couple of days

Elgoni Apartments are placed pretty close to the main street of Piskopiano and rather short walks from Koutouloufari and Ano Hersonissos - all cosy places with loads of restaurants, shops, bars and super markets. Nikos and is family are always helpful and friendly hosts and you can have a nice meal or drink in the bar area.

The walk from Elgoni Apartments to Piskopiano is quite a steep sloap and is similar to taking the stairs up and down a 8-9 story building, so if you have problems walking then this will be quite a challenge.

Peaceful location, spacious and clean apartment, regular housekeeping service, good aircon, beautiful views. Nicos and Helen are very welcoming and friendly people. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.
