The Anax Resort is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything is so tastefully decorated, from the reception to the pool floor. Our suite with private pool and sea view was magnificent. The breakfast buffet is sensational. Lunch and dinner are also very good. The view of the sunset is breathtaking. In addition, the warm and attentive nature of the staff is unique, especially the reception team with their delightful and wonderful front office manager. Even the boutique and the mini market are well equipped. - and the sales clerks are super helpful and nice. You are chauffeured along at any time of the day or night and the drivers always have a friendly word on their lips. If you don't feel at home here, you can't be helped. An absolute recommendation!

It was on a more remote and quiet part of the island but still only took 10 mins to get into town.

1) The price of the transfer to the town was 25EU and for a 5-10 min car ride not worth that price. We ended up renting an ATV during our stay. 2) Breakfast hot food options could be a bit better or more selection. It would be nice to offer guests an omelette or something freshly made. There could be a better selection of fruit or more! 3) there are so many staff at breakfast but they’re not doing much, standing around and just giving coffee or cleaning up. It would be nice if they also can give water or juices to the people instead of just coffee. That’s just a thought based on our experiences in other hotels and resorts.

The ‘mini mart’ is pretty useless in terms of items being sold. You cannot buy drinks (forcing you to use mini bar). At check in we were told about taxis to the main town (30 euros each way). A quick search showed that there are regular buses (every 30 mins) for 1.80 euros each (need cash) at the end of road into the main town (fabrika). The staff (excluding front desk) were generally completely disinterested and came off as rude most of the time. It is incredibly overpriced for what you receive (but this is the case for most of Mykonos).

A special mention must go to Costa, who made our stay even more enjoyable with his friendly golf cart rides up and down the resort. The staff’s dedication to service was evident in every interaction, making us feel truly pampered throughout our stay. The thoughtful touches extended right to our departure, where we were gifted a beautifully scented candle and treated to truffle chocolates in the lobby—a sweet end to a perfect stay. The lighting and ambiance of the resort were amazing, creating an inviting atmosphere that was both luxurious and cozy. Everything! The Anax is a luxury resort with the most hospitable staff. Mike, Sortiris and Mary are the best. They made sure we had everything we need. The transport to and from the port is complimentary. The amenities in the bathroom were superb- we had complimentary beach bags, slippers ( that are like flip flops) , thick robes, great selection of toiletries. The pools and the views were incredible. They have a beach area with sun beds but the waves were too strong so we just stayed in the upper levels. Overall a really great luxury hotel experience. I will definitely stay again.

The hotel is lovely, but keep in mind that it’s located on steep slopes with lots of stairs. To reach the pool or the restaurant, you need to call for an electric buggy – the service is convenient, but it’s good to know in advance. Also, it will be nice to have a tv with Netflix in the gym to watch when using the treadmill.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for two people. The pool was amazing with a stunning view of the sea, and the sunsets by the pool were simply breathtaking. The service was outstanding — very friendly and attentive staff. I originally booked for 4 nights, but ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights because I loved both the hotel and the city so much. Highly recommended!
