Location - perfect, right in front of bus station (no climbing the hills, but a bit of noise is inevitable this close to old town) Room - very tasteful, has everything necessary, very cosy and cute Bed - comfy, pillows - perfect thickness. Air conditioning works well. My economy room didnt have balcony, but it had a huge terrace with sofa, chairs and a small table - unexpected bonus! Loved it! The staff is going extra mile to make sure guests have everything and are helped in all ways!

Central location comes with a bit of noise from the street and bus station. But that's just reality of living downtown.

Everything wonderful! Location: ideal, at the entrance to Mykonos town, 2 steps from the bus station and taxi pick-up point, with minimarket and two tavernas on the ground floor The clean: the room was spotlessly clean Room: New, modern, very well maintained room, we had spare pillow and linen for the pilot, small balcony overlooking the sea, iron in room on request, minibar Quiet/noisy: Mykonos town is in itself a noisy location, but the accomodation will provide you with earplugs, which from my perspective are enough to cover the noise even for a light sleeper Staff: Last but not least, thanks to Trisia who is an expert English speaker and who spent an hour with us at the reception and gave us the best recommendations of restaurants and beaches and who responded promptly to every request of ours.

I stayed at Galation Apart'Hotel for 3 nights. Excellent welcome from Effie at the reception and from Mykonos sunset ! Everything was just perfect in the room which was very nice, clean, bright, sun-oriented and last but not least - overlooking a beautiful view ! The Italian shower also was of perfect size and very pleasant, very good pressure . As for the bed, omg the best I ever had during my stay in Greece ! THE excellent, very comfy bed you can dream of ! Complimentary water, coffee, tea, juices and even cakes in the room ! The view of the sunset from the balcony is totally awesome and so relaxing. Excellent location in the town centre, you can walk everywhere and get lost in the beautiful streets of Mykonos town, the central bus station and taxi station nearby are also very convenient. Excellent, first-class service from Effie and her staff who are as kind as professional and reactive. Effie made everything to make my stay unforgettable and I really appreciated her recommendations, her tips. I highly recommend this place and I would really love to come back someday !

The hotel is in a central location and extremely close to all amenities, including restaurants and a mini mart. The windmills and little Venice was a 10 minute walk. The hospitality of the hotel manager Trisia was amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was the best possible experience. She was also extremely helpful in advising of the best transportation to get to and from the hotel as well as gave us a brief overview of the popular places to go during our visit. The room was equipped with a well stocked beverage area including water, soft drinks, coffee, tea and espresso. The little extras also meant a lot including slippers, vanity kit, and toothbrushes.

The property is right next to the bus stop and you can walk directly into Mykonos town. The location is very convenient. There is a public beach which is lovely around 5 minute walk away. The staff are lovely and eager to assist in any way. When I got locked out at night they came immediately despite reception being closed to help me. Tricia is lovely and is tentative to any problem/question you have. Would 100% recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with the AC working really well. We had a lovely porch directly outside our room.

Absolutely perfect location, ~10mins walk from the port and the bus station. Right beside the main “strip” of restaurants, bars (would recommend Mammo’s for amazing food + generous portions!!) and a supermarket. Kiosk a 30 second walk for large bottles of water (and some snacks) was great too. Dodo and Kostas were absolutely brilliant hosts- good contact prior to our arrival, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. They arranged a boat trip day (I believe they know the people who run the it + we got a €10 discount). Very clean and room was serviced daily. The main reason I booked here was for the view which did not disappoint- full view of the whole harbour, sunset from the balcony every evening was beautiful.

WiFi connection not great. Not sound proofed- unfortunately we were woken up early on various occasions by noisy neighbours speaking loudly.

The staff at this hotel was amazing. Trisia greeted us warmly, helped us to book an excursion to Delos, made excellent recommendations for dinner, equipped us with a map of the area, and then texted later to see if we had everything we needed. On a trip where we experienced many wonderful stays, Galation was a stand out. The room was lovely, we had a view of the sea. The location was good, about a 10-15 minute walk to the pier where we got the boat to Delos. The transfers from the ferry to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport were all great.

Galation was a great surprise! Recomended by friends that came the previous off season (early April) this hotel was not only the best cost benefit but the staff was superb. Misha was incredibly helpful, indicating the best spots and the tourist traps. Mikonos by its profile is a touristic spot, full of tiny streets and tiny stores. We can only imagine how crazy and loud it gets by July/August. The hotel had everything we needed, including AC (cool/heat). There was also a real supermarket very close. Our difficulty as runners was to exercise, we decided to run only in Athens.

The staff were amazing and helped us with anything from recommendations for places to eat and see to accommodating all our needs as soon as possible.

The noise, although this was not their fault. The room downstairs that shares an interior garden with the restaurant in the front can get extremely noisy, especially at night. Groups of tourists sometimes used to sit in front of the room as well. It is basically impossible to keep the curtains open since this leaves 0 privacy in the room.
