This was our first time in Mykonos as a couple celebrating our honeymoon. We chose to stay at ilio Maris and boy let me tell you everything there was perfect, it met our expectations. Peter at reception was so kind and helpful with our needs , he went above and beyond to also show us where to go and what to do and let me tell you it didn't disappoint. I still can't thank him enough for introducing us to a local restaurant which by the way is his favourite too. We ended up eating at least 4 times during our 6 nights stay. The other staff who controlled each area were just as helpful and looking after the guest and fulfilling any needs. Breakfast timing was great, was open until 11 am and this gave us plenty of time to sleep in from previous day activities and still not miss out on breakfast. A very great range of food at the buffet to choose from.

The only thing we didn't like was the TV in our room. This being a 4 star hotel , you would expect to have a nice smart TV, as it was so old and dated .Unfortunately we ended up watching what we wanted either on our phone or using our laptop.

We just left this morning our time there was six nights it was fabulous the location is excellent a short walk from all the restaurants and shops and everything felt very safe I 13-year-old daughter would head out by herself no problem. Georgia on reception was so lovely and helpful and funny we would definitely go back there and stay… Dimitri was fabulous very hard-working everything about our day was amazing would highly recommend !! Great music around the pool

Excellent location—just a 5-minute walk to the bus station, making it easy to reach all the fabulous beaches in Mykonos. It has a decent size pool, allowing us to enjoy it on days we didn’t go to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff who provided us with all the information (+ refreshing welcome drinks) we needed during our first stay in Mykonos.

If I had to mention one thing, it would be the bathtub. I’d prefer a shower instead, as the tub is quite high and the space is limited. Additionally, the glass door design is a bit odd, with an open gap in the middle that causes water to splash and the floor to get very wet.

I was greeted as soon as I entered. I arrived early, and Georgia was so sweet she told me to leave my bags and go grab some breakfast (complimentary). When I was through, she gave me a map and showed me all the places I should visit. They allowed me to check in early and assisted us in arranging transportation when needed. The location was prime it was a hop skip away from the airport and close enough to walk to some night life events. Would definitely go back.

The shower didn't have a shower door or any way to keep the water from flowing onto the floor.

Location, Cleanliness (the cleaning staff are doing an superb job !). Hotel staff is nice, quite a young team.

Although the location is great, it is located on a main road and next to a very big parking which tend to be noisy especially at night. Rooms are not soundproof (no expectation there) but hotel guests should be more attentive to that and more quite when on balconies or when they shut their doors or during late night conversations/partying. Breakfast is so-so, they should have someone do eggs and pancakes on the spot, not nice to eat this cold). More attention/care should be given to guests at the pool, with regular attendance rather than guests going inside to ask for drinks/food.

location was superb- a 3 minute walk to the main bus station and perfectly accessible from the city, without being in the city and with a view of it. breakfast has long hours (8-11) and had everything we wanted. the view was beautiful from our room with sea view. the staff we superb helpful and nice and helped with everything from sharing where to eat, arranging an ATV rental (which was brought to the hotel) and even an airport ride (€20).

the shower was a tiny bit small and the rooms, during our week of stay, may have been cleaned just a little better.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly, the room was cozy and clean, and everything just felt really well taken care of. What really stood out to me, though, was the bartender at the hotel bar. Absolutely top-notch service! He was friendly, knew his stuff, and made some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone was having a good time. It made the whole stay that much better. Can’t wait to come back – highly recommend both the hotel and spending some time at the bar

I liked everything about this place. Great location. Slightly out of the old town but that's exactly where you'd want to be. Staff were really helpful. Beautiful rooms that they kept clean and stocked. And the place has a WORLD CLASS cocktail wizard named Konstantinos working there. They are so good you could ignore mykonos for a while and sit by the pool.

The property is located at an amazing location very close to the mykonos town and old port and of course the famous windmills of mykonos, as well as a 10-15 mins ride to the new port by a taxi. The staff were very humble and friendly and helped in everything. :) The breakfast was excellent. Loved the little tiny savoury pastries. ;). Overall, an amazing experience. I will definitely stay here again.

The water. All the water in all the taps, bathroom shower as well as basin was very salty. It felt like i was having bath with sea water. The smell that remained in the bathroom after a shower was a bit bad. It smelled like sulphur in there. But i guess thats how the mykonos hotels use the sea water to supply for domestic use. Im not sure. But nevertheless, i loved everything else about the hotel and i will definitely recommend staying here and will also come again to stay here only. :)

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Me and my partner booked and had the most incredible room. Views were exceptional and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were absolutely outstanding and catered to any wishes, big or small. Special thanks to the barman who was friendly and personable throughout- always reminding us how bad the weather was in England back home! This stay was everything we wanted and more, less than 10 minutes walk from old town, a short taxi from the airport, could not have been in a more convenient location. They even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout and use all the facilities at the hotel. We will 100% be booking again next summer.
