My seventh stay at the delightful Hotel Pelican, and it once again lived up to our expectations. Chryssoula and her team run a very friendly, efficient and customer-focused business, and will do their very best to ensure that you have whatever you need during your stay. Our room had a balcony with a glorious view over the town to the sea, and to the sunsets. Perfect with a glass of Ouzo and some nibbles... My partner really loved the range of breakfast items available, especially the home-made cake! We were also able to borrow a beach umbrella to use during our stay, presumably left behind by a previous guest. A real bonus, as our cases would never accommodate one. Thanks a million, Chryssoula!

Those with mobility issues need to be aware that the hotel is quite high up a very steep hill. I used to walk up and down it several times a day, but even I have resorted to getting a taxi back late at night if my hip or foot has been painful.

Everything was very good from the moment we arrived. Our room was #18 overlooking the sea. The view was amazing. When it’s night time the view is even more spectacular with all the lights from the town & cruise ships. The room & shower were very large. Tastefully decorated & very clean. Staff were very nice & hepful. They arranged for a shuttle to pick us up at the ferry & also to take us to the airport. About a 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Eggs, bacon, yoghurt, bread, pastries, coffee, juice. A 10+ hotel.

The 200 metre steep hill. They weren’t kidding when they said there is a steep hill but you get used to it..lol. Half way up we would stop for a couple of minutes to catch our breath….lol. It really wasn’t a problem for us. We are elderly (74 & 75).

Great wifi, room is big and clean with a great bathroom and really spacious patio. The AC worked great no issues and they offer a breakfast selection which I would rate 2/5- they have great bread which is what I stuck to but I don’t usually eat breakfast so it’s fine. The staff were very friendly and I would recommend staying here if you don’t mind walking up a steep hill. It is worth the view. Overall great hotel.

The only thing I can say is i wasn’t a fan of was the blankets, hard to describe but they were ones where there was a separate white sheet underneath. The actual blankets/quilts seemed a little yellow and outdated but apart from that I can’t fault the stay. Pillows should be updated to memory foam.

I had a large very clean room with a comfortable bed, big bathroom and shower area. The air conditioning is also powerful, though I hardly needed to use it. The high ceilings seemed to help keep the room temperature comfortable (in September). The view from the room over Mykonos was absolutely phenomenal. Additionally it had a large balcony/terrace for sitting on. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a relaxed feeling to it in general. The location is excellent. It's very close to the busy part of town which could be reached in about 7 - 10 minutes on foot. The incline leading up to the hotel might not be everyone but was fine for me and the view is definitely worth it.

A minor point but although the breakfast was adequate a slightly larger range of foods and cereals would make a big difference.

I loved that breakfast was served until 11am. We didn't Need to rush in the morning. Breakfast was excellent and offered a great variety. I also enjoyed our sitting terrace overlooking the town and water, but it would be nice if there were lounge chairs or something a little more comfy to sit on. The hill from the town to the hotel is crazy steep which we'd read about, but with the heat it was a chore to climb, definitely not wheelchair accessible. Our room was clean and the staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

It’s was very beautiful property, lovely sea views, lovely bedroom, bathroom so nice and good shower. Our balcony front of sea views. Can see everything on sea as lots cruises there, beautiful breakfast as fresh make and everything. No faultless. Many thanks to staffs and manager for surprised birthday cake while celebrated my birthday while stayed there. Love go back there again and must same hotel! Definitely not 2 Stars as 3-4 Stars award!!

Our experience was lovely at Pelican Hotel. All staff members always had a smile on their faces whenever asked any questions and were ready to help us out with any concerns especially about touristic sites and transportation. Cleanliness was good, as well as the comfort of the room. We've got one with a sea/sunset view, which was breathtaking. Even though our days were very windy in Mykonos, we could barely hear it from inside the room. Breakfast was very basic, with choices of eggs, bacon, sausages, two types of bread, some cheeses and turkey breast/ham/mortadella, two types of fruits, plus green tea, coffee, milk and a few juices. Honestly, more than enough if you're there for the experience of the city and the sunset. Reaching the hotel might be a bit challenging as you'd have to walk 200m up this very steep hill, so be ready if you have heavy luggage and you're coming from Fabrika Bus Station - or just from the city center. However, the view, location and services provided make up to that point cause everything becomes so pleasant. A big thank you again to all in this hotel that made this experience so special to us.

We understand that this is out of the hotel's control, but the hike up to reach there is quite challenging. Maybe an agreement with other hotels around to get a shuttle service from the city at different timings of the day would help.

All staff were Outstanding Stella , Lindite , Xrisoula ,Andoni and Elvira…. They all went above and beyond to make our holiday in Mykonos a memorable one The rooms were beautiful spacious and clean Breakfast was very good The location was perfect located in the centre, but away from all the noise Thanks very much pelican for a great time

The hotel was amazing. I was surprised by the low rating because when we walked in there was a buffet breakfast. Then they took us to our room and the views over Mykonos were incredible. The room was big with 2 single beds pushed together which was fine as I was with my daughter. The bathroom was large and very very modern. We were very impressed.

The only negative is there is there is a huge steep hill from Mykonos Town
