This is the very first time I'm giving any hotel (ever) a 10/10 rating, and it's all thanks to their staff - all of them wonderful, friendly and extremely hard-working professionals. Having been to Mykonos 7 times before, I can safely say this has been the best hotel I have stayed in so far there. I would like to give a BIG THANKS (and hoping management gives them a very well-deserved recognition) to STAVROULA, FOTIS, SAKIS and our dear friends SMARAGDA and YIORGIOS - you will see them working from early morning at the breakfast service until late evening at the bar, taking care of absolutely everything with a big smile. The hotel is well located, between Platis Yialos Beach (a 7-minute walk downhill), Psarou Beach (a 5-minute walk) and Paraga Beach / Scorpios (about 15 minutes walking). The swimming pool is big, with plenty of sunbeds and with a very relaxing atmosphere. The pool bar offers great vibes with delicious food and drinks, all at reasonable prices for Mykonos. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone (although you will mainly see couples of all ages) and I very much look forward to staying there again. I would just mention that the beds and pillows could be renewed/improved in the future - not a huge deal, they're not uncomfortable per se but definitely not the comfiest either and could be better.

I stayed at Kamari Hotel with one of my good friends. When arriving to the hotel, we were greeted but extremely friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the perfect spot close to everything you need, and not far from Old Mykonos Town. The room was perfect size for us, and the lighting in the bathroom was perfect for doing makeup (which is important for us girlies) The pool area was great, and the staff at the bar were super fun and friendly. Alby was an amazing help for us, and always made us feel welcome! The buffest breakfast was AMAZING, in particular the dolmades! Would highly recommend this place. We will be back next year for sure.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING

Location was fantastic, with a short walk to the beach and the bus stop at the top of the stairs. The guys at the pool bar were fantastic and went out of their way to take care of all of us. I can’t believe it’s *only* a 3 star property, as the facilities were incredible.

… trying hard to find a gripe, and the only thing I can think of is that the breakfast buffet was a bit “samey” and that after 9h15 the music changed to smooth jazz (might not be a complaint if that’s your bag)

The Kamari is a beautiful hotel, all the staff are amazingly friendly, but I do have to give the following people a big mention, efi, runs the bar at night, the loveliest of ladies, really looked after me and my 8 friends. Nothing too much trouble. Sakis, what a character, was up for a laugh and again couldn’t help us enough. Costas and edmaralda in the pool side bar, had to make us pina coladas all day! With 9 women they all certainly had some work to do! And then lastly and unfortunately I didn’t get the lady’s name but the lovely sweet lady that cleaned our room every day, always smiling. Thank you Kamari hotel we all said we will return

It was perfect but it would’ve been nice to have a kettle in the room.

We liked everything about Kamari hotel, lovely pool, always enough sunbeds, exceptional pool bar with good food at reasonable prices. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Also the hotel bar was a favourite stop off on our way out in the evening or on our way back, the lovely Effie always made us feel welcome and special. Would definitely return.

The pillows were a bit hard, but beautifully clean, bedding changed every other day, new towels every day.

Large room, very clean. Pool area was beautiful with plenty of sun beds. Pleasant garden area. Also provided towels. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Bus stop into town right outside hotel. Transfers provided from and to airport at request 5 euro pp each way.

Some areas of hotel, for example the communal areas such as Reception could have done with some updating. Our room although large and clean was starting to look dated and although a fridge was provided it was so old and rusty. No kettle was provided with tea and coffee facilities which was very unusual. All other hotels/apartments we’ve been to provided this. The room was overlooking the car park and traffic could be heard from a busy road. I had requested a quiet room.

This is our 4th stay at Kamari and it gets better every time. Beds are so comfy, breakfast is plentiful and delicious, hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful, warm and like family. Location is perfect, 5 mins walk to the beach, bakery, restaurants and bars and 10 mins by bus to Mykonos town.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location….

The only thing I would have liked would have been tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I really like the ability to have a hot drink when I feel like it.

The woman at the pool bar was extraordinarily friendly and service-orientated, but the staff at the reception was not too warm and gave us unclear instructions as to how the transfer back to the port would be organized. Also, our ferry was not leaving until 15:10, but we were told that we had to be transferred to the harbor (15 minutes ride) at noon. Hence, we spent more than 2 hours waiting to board the ferry at the "cantina" (the temperature outside was 35 C). Place is expensive from a quality/price perspective.

Ideal location. Spotless place and pool area was beautiful, large pool with Palm trees and gardens. All the Staff in Hotel and Pool Bar are absolutely wonderful and go that extra mile to make your stay perfect. Just a short walk to 2 local Beaches and Bus Stop into Mykonos Town every 30 mins right outside the Hotel front door. You can also get bus tickets at the hotel reception. In our opinion this Hotel should be 4 stars!
