I stayed at the Cactus hotel for a week as a solo traveller end of May. I was picked up by Aris at the airport, complimentary service by the hotel which is super nice, Aris was very friendly and professional. I checked in with the reception by Nicolas and Valisiki, amazing front of house. They were always ready to help in every way, nothing was too much for them. The room was beautiful and very spacious, very modern design, pleasing to the eye. The pool so lovely. Breakfast was great, again the staff, Efi and the other staff was so lovely. This little and intimate hotel is a gem. Everything is beautiful and designed very modern. Super clean at all times. What makes this place so special is the STAFF. I would like to thank each and one of them for their generous spirit of hospitality. Also, to the owner of this hotel, please really appreciate these people who are doing an amazing job to represent this hotel. When I return to Mykonos, I will stay at this hotel again. EXCELLENT STANDARDS!!!

There is coffee machine in the rooms which are very nice, it would be nice to have the tea option too.

Starting from our free ride to the hotel from the port, Myconos Cactus Hotel made us feel the exquisite experience of the island even on a (relatively) budget trip for two nights. I d like to especially thank Taxiarchis for his kind welcome and introduction of the island during the ride. We also thank Nikos and Vasiliki for the information at reception as well as the bar staff for the fulfilling breakfasts. The hotel displays one of the rare green spots in the island with an elegant (almost) botanical garden of various cactus species surrounding a refreshing pool. The rooms are designed in the traditional Myconian housing style. Ours had a wide porch to relax. The room, sheets and towels were all very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location with walking distance to the Ornos beach. There is a public bus stop in 2 minutes walking distance. The bus takes about 10-15 minutes to downtown (I d recommend renting a car and not rely only on the public transport in the island though.) The hotel arranged a transfer service to the port when we checked out, also free of charge. Thanks again for the entire experience. I d highly recommend Myconos Cactus Hotel.

We really appreciated the quality of service and the kindness of the staff. At the beginning of the reservation where we had not been able to honor the dates at first, everyone was very understanding and attentive to our needs to find solutions and alternatives, we were able to have a better room thanks to their willingness to listen, which we really appreciated. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, and the pick-up and drop-off service at the airport was a great bonus. Overall, a great experience! I highly recommend because we will be back! The only thing we would mention is the floor cleaning, which could have been a bit more thorough at times. Otherwise, everything else was great and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Bar staff and reception staff were amazing and so welcoming and helpful.

Cleaning lady came round at a different time each day so we were unable to time being able to get the room cleaned on a couple of occasions.

Staff were fantastic from the minute they picked us up from the port to the moment they dropped us back off. Full of knowledge and advice about the island and willing to help with anything at anytime.

The hotel is very well located — close to the best beaches and to the center of Mykonos. Getting around is easy and convenient, whether by bus or Uber. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Both managers were incredibly attentive, helpful, warm, and empathetic. The property is well maintained and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and in good condition. However, a major downside is that the rooms have no windows, which is a huge architectural flaw — especially for a newly built property. Neither the rooms nor the pool area have any kind of view, which feels frustrating when you’re on such a beautiful island like Mykonos. Breakfast was tasty but quite basic and with limited variety.

Everything! The team was amazing—so kind, warm and genuinely caring. Marsella and the other receptionist were incredibly thoughtful and always checked if we needed anything. The ladies at breakfast welcomed us with a smile every morning. One moment we’ll never forget: after a long day out, they immediately let us know our delayed luggage had arrived. That kind of attention really touched us. The room was super comfortable, breakfast was great, and the whole vibe was calm and cozy. One of our favorite hotel experiences ever!

We had a wonderful stay at Mykonos Cactus.The room was beautiful and the location was just great. We walked to many things, but public transportation was also close by. The breakfast each morning was really good as well and we could each eat on our own schedule. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in Mykonos. This is the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of Mykonos & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit ex. transportation. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed several times in Mykonos and this was our favorite for its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. P.S They offer free transportation to/from port/airport which saves you alot of money (if you will use a taxi).

A stunning, newly built property in Ornos. A 5 minute walk for the beach, the property has a big pool area with loungers, lovely breakfast included and modern rooms which are perfectly fit for purpose. We loved Ornos because it feels like you’re in a small Greek village despite being in the bustling Mykonos, yet it is close to everything. The property helped us with an early check in, arranged transport when needed and the staff were incredibly friendly and always present to help. What a great stay and excellent value for money!
