The hotel. Itself is small and quite right in front of the beautiful beach os palios aglios.. The pool was nice, the room was spacious and big , All the staff very kind and we got a complimentary transfer back to port paid by hotel..

The fact that hotel. Doesnt provide sun beds for free. Not even a discount for customers staying at hotel since the restaurant DK manages the sunbeds rental, very expensive 40 euros per set plus drinks apart very expensive. The shower room. In our room was old fashion decoration, o think hotel can te do it to make it look prettier. Matress was too soft, needs to. Renew bedding. Bkf is OK but should try to improve to have fresh fruit juices since it is a 4 Stars hotel.

We were upgraded to a room with plunge pool. Bed so large so good. Clean hotel overall. Bonus point - sited next to the beach n located in hotspot for evening meals.

Breakfast in Eclipse room - very standard selections, not exciting as compared to two other hotels at neighbouring islands we stayed earlier in same week. After two breakfast we decided to eat at neighbouring restaurants. Sunbeds to hire immediately outside the hotel at €200 ! Go further down to different sunbeds set, €40…

Unfortunately, despite the fact the hotel is amazing and the location is one of the best there are some things that placed a shadow on everything. The breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30. The gentleman puts a strap at 10:27 every morning and he doesn’t allow you to pass to take any food. It’s a big tension there and he is monitoring every piece of food that you are taking. On the other hand the beach towels they don’t change it only every 3 days. It’s a beach destination so I was expecting to be able to receive dry towels every day.

The property was well positioned, clean and comfortable. We had a sea view room which had a sunbed on the patio to use which looked over the water, great view. If you have an issue with stairs, consider this, we did need to ask for help to get our bags to and from the room. Nespresso coffee machine in the room, pods cost €1 each, not provided, in fact several places we’ve stayed in have these, next time I would bring my own, but it’s good to have the machine if you like a coffee in the morning with your view! They can organise a transfer which is worth doing, it is a distance from the port, however close to the bus stop which is great for getting into town and only cost €2 each way. We didn’t use the restaurant except for breakfast which was included and very nice. I would stay here again and recommend it.

My only thought is in comparison to all other hotels we stayed at, there was a lack of general information, when spoken to everyone did their job, but at no point did I feel genuinely welcome, which left a feeling of simply being very transactional. Which is a shame because it would have lifted the whole experience to a different level. I did not like the business of a bar and sunbeds at the beachfront, apparently seperate to the hotel, they are pushy to sell a bed, and sneaky, make sure you know what you are paying for, they don’t tell you the price and more fool us, got caught in the moment waiting for our room to be ready, had 1 drink each to be charged €40, they only got me once!

Overall, we loved our stay at this hotel. All the staffs were very friendly, and every time I approached for help, they did their best to accommodate my needs. It is perfectly situated right at the Platis Gialos beach, and you can basically walk out to one of the most famous beaches on the island. There are many restaurants and cafes along the beach boardwalk, and the supermarket and the bus stop to Mykonos town is also within walking distance. The breakfast is offered at the restaurant giving you a panoramic view of the Platis Gialos beach, and have solid range of food options from Greek to continental breakfast. We did not get to go into the pool, but it seemed to be well maintained, and not crowded. While it may not be a Ritz-Carlton, Kosmoplaz offered a great value for the money, well-maintained room and the facility, friendly staff who are willing to help, and a great location.

Hotel could've used a better signage. Our taxi driver had a bit of hard time navigating through the driveway, and it was also not clear when walking by foot from the beachside.

The plunge pool and swimming pool are great. The room size was ok. Location to the beach is perfect and the breakfast is definitely great option. The staff were great in sharing recommendations and bus times etc.

The lack of security and accountability of from the staff when there is very loud and rude guests. The staff were simply not bothered and did nothing to explain to them that this is not a huge hotel and to be mindful of guests On our last day a group of 8 men were enjoying and drinking and then smashed a glass. Glass everywhere. The cleaning team the best they could however glass still could be seen. If drinks are offered then a table should be used.

The room was amazing! And the breakfast has a stunning view from the beach!

The beach chairs in front of the hotel had to be paid apart which was not clear when we’ve booked the hotel. Also, there is a travel agency that the hotel suggests, but they charge a very expensive price. You can get same service if you look check online options.

I was located on the pool side, I thought it was a great size room, the housekeepers she was so nice! She did a great job cleaning my room, the breakfast was great!

The women at the front desk. She told me not go to to the beach it was a scam. I asked her for more information. But she said go to trip advisor. I asked her another question, she was not very helpful. I was in Paris and they were more helpful humans then this women at the front desk. I also seen her running when I was coming to the front desk. Not sure if she was running for another reason. One more thing please do not mop the steps- I was coming down from breakfast and a women had mop the steps and I slipped but caught the wall.

The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, enough variety to please everyone. Loved the coffee machine in the breakfast room and the views. All staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach from the hotel. Shop around before you pick a sunbed and always get the price before you sit down. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away, always on time and runs till very late in the evening. Do go to Mykonos town. Do take the water taxi to beach hop. The restaurant on the corner has a Greek evening that has dancing and is entertaining. Would definitely return here.
