Everything!!! The location was great with great restaurants all around and close to the harbour for day trips and catching the ferry! Our host, Nathalie and her assistant who welcomed us was super friendly, and Nathalie was at all times available in seconds. The apartment was exceptionally clean with fruit, beverages and some snacks to welcome us, coffee and tea and condiments were regularly refilled. The cleaning service each day was great! I truly highly recommend these apartments at Castle Mansions! Thank you Nathalie for such a great stay with you. We hope to see you again on future! 😃

Well maintained and cleaned property. Attention to detail. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Great shower and towels. (Washing machine door hard to open). Washing machine handy and pods provided. Milk and butter provided along with coffee and other goodies! Fabulous view from balcony.

Not much. Can be noisy location but it’s not really an issue given the location. Loved the peaceful music from the guy on the steps. Very little storage space if staying longer than couple of nights. Could not hang midi dresses in cabinet. Treck uphill with heavy luggage not ideal. Away from car parking (not too far). Shared entrance with other apartment.

I have stayed at Castle Mansions twice in Naxos and their rooms are outstanding! Location is perfect, close enough to the pier and beach but hidden away enough to feel nice and quiet. This time I had the most fabulous balcony overlooking the Typographio restaurant (also owned but the same people and fabulous!) but there was foliage to hide me from view so I could enjoy a glass of wine and just listen to the violin player. Everything in the room was perfect, there were even tablets for the washing machine and pegs for the washing line! I will absolutely be booking again!

This place was the perfect room to unwind in after hanging out at the beach or going out for excursions and/or dinner. Super comfortable, air conditions, washing machine, a nice cute little balcony.

The one thing I should warn people about is that the tap water isn't potable. This might be widespread in Naxos, I'm not sure. They did give us free water bottles, and there's a potable spout to refill just around the corner. I was living off of sparkling water I bought at the corner store anyways, which was plentiful and cheap. It didn't inconvenience us at all, and I brushed my teeth and used the shower without issue. Still, something to know about before you book.

Everything was perfect about the apt. The location was right in the middle of Chora convenient to everything without being too noisy. Walkable to all shops/restaurants and waterfront. The beds were comfortable. It was wonderful having a second bedroom a kitchen and a living room. It was so comfortable for our family of 4. The place was spotless and the housekeeping did a great job refreshing the apt every day and restocking everything. They even restocked the condiments, tea and washing machine pods everyday. Truly thought of everything. It’s always the little things that make it a stay more like home. Even provided clothes pins for the clothes line. One thing that stood out to us was the quality of the finishes. The windows and doors were solid and completely blocked out all the noise from outside however also had screens we could pull down if we wanted a breeze from outside. Just book it. You won’t regret it! We will stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever back in Naxos. Hands down one of the best places we have stayed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and modern - I felt comfortable right away and felt relaxed while in the room. The location is perfect, and having a balcony was a big bonus. Check-in was easy and I appreciated all the recommendations from my host. She was very friendly and even provided me with a beach towel when she learned I wanted to go to the beach. She was also flexible with check-out to accommodate when my ferry was leaving, and offered her number to be of any assistance while I was on the island. I highly recommend this to anyone and if I ever come back to Naxos I'd stay here again.

Nothing - everything was fantastic.

We loved EVERYTHING!! I honestly cannot rate this property enough! We stayed in the Deluxe apartment with sea view balcony & king size bed, we were the first guests to stay here since it being newly renovated. It was everything we could have hoped & wished for and more! The most stunning room with stunning sea views (the photos on the website don’t do the views justice) you are so much closer to the sea then it looks in the photos. It is in prime central location with everything right at your feet. There are a few restaurants around the apartment but the walls are so thick you don’t hear a thing and even when you are sat on the balcony it’s just magical with the most wonderful chilled vibe! Housekeeping clean your room daily, freshly made beds and clean towels. There is a washing machine which is great for beach days! The bed is very comfortable! Castle mansion’s really have thought of everything, the room had vanity kits, sewing kits, orange juice and water in the fridge for when you arrive. The dinning table has fresh fruit and condiments and there is even washing powder for the washing machine. The two ladies on reception are so welcoming and helpful and can’t do enough for you! The restaurant that is owned by castle mansions which is “Typografio” is a must visit! The food is beautiful! My husband had the steak and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. This apartment could not be situated in a better location, you have absolutely everything at your feet and just a short walk from the port and also to the beach. It was our first time in Naxos and it has stollen our hearts. We will definitely be back!

Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

On arrival, we were welcomed by the wonderful Evie, who help us with our luggage, showed us our accommodation and gave us suggestions about places to visit, eat and do in beautiful Naxos, arranging theatre shows at the castle, ferry trip, car hire. We cannot thank her enough, as well as Dimitri, Nathalie and everyone at Castle Mansions. Our accommodation with a balcony and views of the harbor and sea was exceptional. Excellent location, close to everything. It was home away from home. Beautifully decorated and renovated original home outside the Castle walls with very high ceilings, comfortable, with all the necessary, working appliances to make our stay a perfect stay. It was the highlight of our four week holiday in Greece. Relaxing atmosphere, great food with so many restaurants, Typografio and Metaxi mas, just to mention two, and beautiful sunsets. The hospitality of the Naxos people was amazing. It was exceptional.

The fact that we had to leave. Could have stayed forever and retired there.

The location was fantastic. In the old town but private and quiet. We especially enjoyed the balcony, morning for breakfast, drying clothes during the day and relaxing at night. We never tired of the view from the balcony. Our host, Nathalie was excellent: meeting us at our taxi on arrival, arranging taxi pick-ups and providing assistance with our luggage.

It was very close to perfect. A minor quibble: we would have preferred a proper ironing board rather than the small benchtop one provided.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The location is fantastic - nestled right in the middle of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Both the ferry port and the bus stop are within a 5-10 minute walk, making the rest of the island and even surrounding islands very accessible. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They even helped us bring our heavy bags up the steps (like in most small European towns, the cobblestones streets make it difficult to lug around heavy bags). Everything we could have possibly needed was ready for us at the apartment. We would definitely book again!

This isn't a complaint, more of a preference - would have loved to have a fan in addition to the AC unit to help with air circulation. We stayed during peak summer, so I can imagine that this would not be an issue during other times of the year.
