Very clean, well equipped rooms. Comfortable bed and an unexpected sea view from the balcony. Also great views from the roof terrace. Location is perfect for walking to the beach but also to port and old town. When we arrived Sophia collected us from the port and made us feel very welcome. She also gave us some excellent recommendations for things so do/see and places to eat.

Although very nicely done, the style of the property (polished/painted concrete and wooden doors with large heavy knockers) makes noise echo quite a lot. This was only an issue on our last night when some other guests were very noisy coming in/going out late at night (and reflects more on the other guests than Ampelos as the hotel does ask that guests are respectful and quiet during late hours!).

Sophia was very helpful in in communicating all there is to do in the area. The room we had was comfortable and had a great comfy bed. The property was a close to the shops and restaurants and also an easy 7 min walk to Paralia Agios Georgios Beach as well as close to the port. One of the best things we found was the rooftop which we spent every sunset with a glass of wine looking over the city centre and port. We would highly recommend this property

One of the rooms we booked was perfect. Great shower. Kitchen amenities. Nice balcony. No problems whatsoever. Overall hotel location is great, close to the centre, close to the port, close to Agios Georgios beach Reception was very helpful and sorted out our accommodation request to split guests between our two rooms. Lovely design in the hotel. Good value for money.

The other room was less than ideal. The door to the bathroom didn't lock and we informed at the reception but they didn't attempt to fix it. The safe in this room also didn't work, so we used the other one (good thing we had two rooms). Wi-Fi didn't work 90% of the time, but we were told the entire area had outages. The hotel got in touch with us to arrange transport from Naxos Port, and I informed them we were 6 people with 6 suitcases, and they said they would send us 2 cars. However they sent us a minivan which only fit 4 of us (and most bags) and the other 2 had to wait at the port, and it's not ideal in the middle of summer.

The property was clean and the lady was helpful with the information about Naxos.

The reception lady told us the taxi would be 5€ per person from the port to the property and vice versa. We were 3 of us in this stay. However, the taxi charged 25€ from the property to the port which is only 1.1 km in distance and about 5 mins drive. Upon telling to the receptionist lady, she said the taxi in Naxos are independently owned and operated which we can understand. However, 25€ for 1.1 km distance is too much. I hope the lady would never contact this taxi driver for other guests.

We loved this place. The room was perfect and cleaned immaculately every day. The location was close to everything with the beach only just over a 5 minute stroll away and the harbour is area is roughly the same. We walked from the port to the property and with the aid of google maps found it quite easily in about 10 mins although the property will arrange a free transfer. If you don't want to hire a car, there are buses that take you over the island which leave from the ferry port. Highly recommend this place....its the best I've slept anywhere.

We loved everything but please be aware that if you have walking difficulties, as with most places on this island the property is located up a steep hill on uneven ground....on the plus side its helped burn the calories from all the delicious food we ate.

the stay was incredible. we got the nicest room with a view as requested. to our surprise it had a jacuzzi inside. we had a great time. it had a perfect view and the area was very quiet. breakfast is bed and breakfast. the staff was very cooperative in everything. excellent spot in the city close to everything but not in a busy area. The staff picked us up directly from the port at our request. Compared to what I saw in Naxos, it was the most beautiful accommodation and in the best area. everything is excellent, I highly recommend it❣️❣️❣️

Stunning modern take on traditional Greek design. We loved the apartment. 5€ to be picked up at the port and taken to the accommodation, only short drive but I think we would have struggled to find it, much appreciated. Great breakfast delivered to our suite or the roof terrace (which was equally stunning in itself and the view). The staff we meet were lovely, happy and helpful. Great location up a steep hill but only a short walk to the beach and town area. I would certainly go back.

The place was very cute and cleaned well. Looked exactly like pictures. I loved the location as it was in a quiet area but a very easy 10-15 walk to the main promenade. Sophia was a great help and assisted with everything I needed.

1 rating removed due to the wifi. It was very bad. Sophia did call the technician several times, but it would still completely stop working and when it did work it was very slow. Warning to remote workers.

The room was nicely furnished and comfortable with a small kitchenette and basic equipment. Nice balcony with sea view and a wonderful view from the roof terrace shared with other guests. Good shower and clean towels daily. We were not offered a breakfast option but catered for ourselves. The area is quiet and it should be noted that it's a 10 minute walk to town and uphill all the way back. There is no lift. Hotel staff although not much present in the reception were quick to answer our questions via text message and organized car rental for us.

Although there is a great coffee machine, we only had 3 coffee capsules for 2 people over the 4 days we were there. It would have been nice to have a couple of new ones every day. Our booking was called a deluxe apartment but actually it's just one small room.
