Our room was a super cute and very roomy basement suite. We had a queen size bed (very comfy) and a single bed. A “kitchen” area provided a counter and large sink, a fridge and a kettle. A small kitchen table with three chairs and a vanity table and mirror with chair provided extra seating room to eat or play board/card games, and do makeup and hair. There was a decent sized armoire for hanging up clothes, and a clothes drying rack outside on the patio. We made use of this as we had a few items of clothing to wash. There is a safe, an iron and a blow dryer. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great pressure and a rain shower head. Lovely thick beach towels are provided. This small resort is ideally located on St. George Beach, only a 8-10 minute walk from the port and shops. They offer amazing a la carte breakfast options in the outdoor restaurant every morning, included in the price. It was such a treat to be able to drink unlimited hot, filtered coffee and not have to pay 4 EUR for a small cup! 😁 We had a rental car and were able to park it just a few steps from our room. We could not hear any noise at night when we were in our room, and we slept very soundly. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Yannis is particularly pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic location—right at the entrance of the old town and just a 2-minute walk to the seaside promenade. The room was spotless and even more beautiful than the photos. It had two sea-view balconies, which were absolutely perfect. Because we had a last-minute change in our ferry schedule and arrived before noon, the host was incredibly thoughtful and allowed us to check in early.

The only minor downside is that our room was on the 3rd floor (or the 2nd floor by local standards) and there was no elevator. This might be a bit inconvenient for those with large luggage or for older guests with limited mobility.

Fantastic location right next to St George beach. Rooms were spacious and had basic cooking facilities and fridge. Breakfasts were really good and liked the fact that you could have them right up until midday, so plenty of time for relaxation, swimming etc before eating. Has very cool ambience, with good music playing around bar and eating areas throughout the day.

Stayed here a few times in the past and each time, the decor has been more and more tatty, Rooms in need of makeover! Attention to cleaning could be better, we found some the sheets a bit grubby and room not as well cleaned before we arrived as we would have liked.

Ippokampos was the perfect location for our family. Just on the edge of town so not too busy, but an easy walk into the centre. We loved the beachfront location, the excellent breakfasts, the discounted beach lounges for hotel guests which we used nearly every day. The staff were amazing with excellent restaurant and beach service, and even the cleaner was always so happy. Parking was not a problem when we hired a car and we really considered our stay excellent value. Such a clean and beautiful place. plus we had a lovely small balcony that looked out to sea for our evening drinks and snacks.

Just a little more space in the bedroom would have been great, but given all the other positives and apart from sleeping we were rarely there this was certainly not a problem and would not deter me from staying again.

The exceptional location, breakfast and access to beach. Although the room was small it was well laid out for outlets, space for suitcases and towel hooks and a drying rack outside. The housekeeper was phenomenal for providing friendly customer service.

Connectivity and speed of internet. Although the hotel provides a 1/2 discount for a beach chair and umbrella on the beach to guests, most of the time they were at least 1/2 empty. The price in June was $40 Euro for two chairs and umbrella and then cost us as a guest $20 Euro. I bet if they would have charged $30 for full price and offered it to guests at $15 they would have filled more chairs and made more money and it would not have left as bad a taste in our mouths to rent multiple days during our stay.

Great location, not too busy, opposite sandy swimming beach with sea views from our apartment. Easy walking distance to chora and port for plenty of shopping and dining options. Overall Ippokampos has a great vibe and was an excellent base for our Naxos holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Mark and Mandy Aus

Everything about this hotel was fantastic except the wifi. The location was perfect, the beach club and service was great, and the room was clean. The rooms were spacious and I especially enjoyed that you could open the top part of the door to get the ocean breeze. The wifi access in the room was terrible. I had to open the door and stand next to it or go outside to use the wifi—the was the only issue here.

Wifi access was poor in the rooms.

I liked the comfy beds. The variety and breakfast. We also liked the proximity to town a grocery store around the corner.

I didn't like the filtered coffee at breakfast. And thought it would have been so nice to have a couple of sun umbrellas with the couches outside our room as the only sun umbrellas were on the beach with the chairs, you have to pay for each day. .

Our accommodation was across the road from St George Beach, which was a great vista to wake up to every morning. This location made it easy to walk to the many restaurants and bars, tourist activities, and harbour. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay and you can get your laundry done relatively cheap. Wifi in the room was not great but we got by. Great selection of food for the daily breakfast and Dimitri was a super host, very polite and accommodating.

fabulous stay….beautiful spot on the water! the communal sitting area with cozy couches has wonderful water view. sunset was gorgeous! breakfast was amazing & cooked to order! demitria, the server is lovely. the value of this property is excellent. oh & one of the best showers during my travels in Greece. do not hesitate, book your stay here!
