Very good position just in front of a wide beach that features both small restaurants / resorts with beach beds and free beach that you can go with your towels. Cozy bedrooms, each with its own balcony and was cleaned daily as soon as we left for the beach. 10 minutes walking from the city center and 15 minutes walking from the ferry terminal. Rooms and common areas were kept tidy and clean all the time. Breakfast was our highlight of the holiday: Sofia (the landlady) was making the best greek sweet and savoury pies, rice puddings and toasts. There's always great variety and she freshly fries eggs all the time during breakfast time. This was by far the most relaxing stay in our 10 days stay between Naxos and Mykonos.

Everything about this hotel is amazing, especially Sophia! We showed up earlier than check in and were taken to our room immediately. The room was clean and had everything you need for your stay, kettle, fridge and most importantly AC as it was very warm while we were there (June). The room also had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Each morning for the included breakfast, there was an assortment of foods from fresh made eggs, ham, cheese, breads, yogurt and a wide variety of home made foods. We would often see Sophia in the kitchen preparing the night before. We have stayed in many hotels where the breakfast was included but this was the best we have ever had. The location is maybe a minute walk to a fantastic beach. Many restaurants/bars located a short walk away and approximately a 10 minute walk to Naxos Town. Thank you Sophia for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Kiria Sophia and her husband were very accommodating. Kind and lovely people. The hotel is a small family run hotel, with very clean and comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds a lovely balcony and good bathrooms with large shower. Good airconditioning too. A lovely breakfast cooked by Kiria Sophia in the mornings was great. The location is fabulous - only 20 meters from Ag. Giorgios beach. It's a 10 minute stroll onto Naxos or a 15 minute walk to the port. Highly recommended this wonderful property in Naxos. Hands down, this is the best included breakfast I've ever encountered in all my many years of travelling. Sophia takes great care and has cakes, egg pies, crepes, breads to offer you in the morning. We have been spoiled by this and now no one can meet our expectations! The room is modern, and clean as a whistle! We are steps from a beautiful beach and a five minute walk to the harbor and many restaurants! We extended our stay by a week because we love this hotel and Naxos so much!! Same housekeeper everyday- she is amazing and quick!

The Ilion was very comfortable and very well-located, both of which are my highest priorities as a traveller for many years. My goodness, there was even a small “kuzina” on our floor available to us with dishes, cutlery, glasses, and pots and pans to be used on the two element burner. Our hostess and the owner Sophia is a jewel who exemplifies Greek “philoxenia” or hospitality. The generous daily breakfast included in the price is delicious and an important way Greeks express this. Thank you, Sophia!

It would have been helpful if beach equipment was available - chairs and umbrellas - even at a modest daily rental.

This is a great family-run small hotel. Everything was great, some of the highlights include the nice bathroom, the spotlessly clean room, and the great location literally 10 meters from the beach. Ms. Sophia, the owner, was very helpful with everything we needed and she cooked the most delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, it is great value for money and I would certainly return if I went back to Naxos. A couple of extras which made our stay even more comfortable: beach umbrellas were available for the customers to take to the beach and parking space just outside the hotel was available which is quite convenient if you have a car.

The Wi-Fi in our room was poor.

The hotel is kept exceptionally clean and tidy and well-decorated, and our bathrooms were very recently refurbished and of excellent quality. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quite large. The breakfasts provided were exceptionally good (with excellent, home-made traditional Greek breakfast offerings) and the owners exceptionally friendly, cheerful and discreet. We were more impressed with the hotel than we expected to be, it was very good value for money.

The breakfast room could get rather crowded, with too few tables at peak times (we had to wait to get a table on two mornings) and only one serving (display) table for the food and drinks.

Hotel is in a quiet corner near to the beach and within walking distance to the port. Sofia the manager is very friendly and serves us fried eggs every morning. The breakfast spread is good and sufficient. Room is clean and comfortable. Perhaps an area to look into is a small kettle in the room so we can make hot tea in the room. Overall a positive experience and we'll certainly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Naxos in the future.

This hotel was, as advertised, 10 metres from the lovely beach, easy walking distance to nice cafes, mini marts and restaurants. It was a nice 7 minute walk to the centre of town with its shops and winding streets. Previous reviews, raving about the breakfast didn't do it justice; it was amazing for all of the five days we were there. Sofia, the proprietor, is a generous and terrific cook. Best food in Greece. The rooms all have balconies with oblique views of the beach and sea. Very, very clean and bright!

The location is excellent: close to the beach, easy walk to nearby restaurants as well as the old town and port. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Whilst our room was on the small side it was really well designed so we were able to put things away easily. We also had a lovely, sunny balcony with a side view down to the beach. Whilst the hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk to the bustling town centre, the location of the hotel is quiet (great for sleeping. The breakfast provided is also excellent.
