The quiet location in Paleochora with sea views but just an easy stroll to the centre and restaurants was ideal. The hotel is beautifully designed with contemporary artistic touches especially in the gardens and on the roof terrace. The reception and dining area open and spacious and very relaxing with sofas and reading area. The breakfast was delicious with a huge choice and we really enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. We were very happy with our Superior Double room with it’s sea view from the balcony, and the room was more spacious than we had expected with a good storage and ample wardrobe. The staff were wonderful - so welcoming and helpful.

The bathroom felt a little compact although it was well designed with a good shower, and we preferred having the space in the bedroom

Paleachora is a great town and Hotel Aris is a very good place to stay. Well positioned with everything you need. The breakfast was exceptional. Every day there was a huge selection of fresh food with different Cretan specialities. The hotel owners are very friendly. Our room was lovely - decorative but simple. There is a beautiful garden with hammocks and different seating areas. A really terrific place.

the property is located in a quiet part of town, just a few minutes walk from the port. the facilities are very nice, I love that a lot of effort was put into the interior design. be sure to visit the rooftop lounge, it is super cozy and you get an amazing view of Paleochora. The room was clean and comfortable and we also enjoyed the excellent breakfast with a variety of foods, fruits and fresh juices. The staff was truly amazing, and very helpful. We were given a warm welcome and received great tips for hiking routes. They went out of their way to get me an item back that I forgot, truly amazing service! i highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to coming back!

Nice boutique hotel with friendly staff, very good breakfast with Cretan specialities as well, it was also different every day, room was really well decorated, clean, many good restaurants around, nice garden, close to the town and the beach.

The staff was really amazing. Always very approachable and helpful. I truly understand people that come here every time they stay in Paleochora. The cleaning staff also went the extra mile. The breakfast was very good with amazing feta and yoghurt.

Outstanding clean and well run establishment. Grounds are amazing with stunning established plants and wood carvings. Breakfast is a real treat. Upstairs is a roof balcony with commanding views to the bay and hills.

The included breakfast was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and most helpful. They also looked after most of our luggage while we visited Sougia for one night in the middle of our stay. The first room we had was excellent and had a great view while the hotel has very nice grounds that one can relax in.

I very much appreciated that the hotel provides free bicycles. Unfortunately they are not well looked after and most needed some maintenance so rising them was not as enjoyable as it can easily have been.

We stayed there 3 nights. Hotel is modern and very lovely with so many details which make the stay comfortable and special (cozy benches in front of the hotel, garden, terrace on the roof with a hammock) We had room like apartment (doors through balcony) and it was comfortable. Room had enough space, nice bathroom and balcony with view on palm trees and also little view on sea in distance. Bed was really comfortable and everything was sparkling clean 10/10– cleaning staff is great and very kind, we also have good experience with staff at the reception. Free parking is near hotel. Self served beakfast was awesome, one of best ever, with many choices – few types of bread, homemade jam, butter, coffee, fresh orange juice, greek yogurt, eggs, cheese, fruit, vegetables, many different nuts. Location is also great, only 5 minutes walk from centre of Paleochoria but still on completely quiet place (no traffic, no loud places near). The closest beach is 2 min walk. I really want to come back someday.

The Hotel is flawless. It is located near Paleochora center and pretty close to both beaches, but not in a noisy area. It is places inside a beautiful garden. The breakfast was exceptional, also for vegetarians. Everything was super clean and the maids cleamed the room daily. The staff owner were all very helpful and kind. On my arrival my bag was misplaced by the airline and brought the next day, the owner went himself to the bus station to collect it for me. And there are cute cats who don't bother guests. I totally recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Paleochora.
