We liked everything. The room is spacious, very clean, the staff (especially the cleaning staff) is lovely & they do a great job. The reception staff is great as well, would always reserve sunbeds for us and allowed us to check out later as we had the flight in the evening. The beds are so comfortable and it's great that they have window blinds. The garden is lovely.

It would be great if the windows would have mosquito nets, we couldn't leave the doors/windows open because of this.

The apartment was very spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The property was located directly across from the beach and within easy walking distance to fantastic restaurants. The proximity to amazing hiking trails was great. The town had a short power outage and the owner provided candles to light our way, which was a nice gesture.

This is just a minor detail, but the shower doors didn’t completely seal, so the bathroom floor got wet.

The studio was spacious, if a little dark (which could be a bonus in the heat of summer). We knew we had booked a ground floor studio and the photos were accurate. As someone who enjoys being sociable, I enjoyed the feel of people passing to and fro past our outdoor seating area. We were just a few metres from the beach. The beach-side cafe attached to the Santa Irene did great coffee, with beautiful views and a really nice vibe.

Everything. The atmosphere was great with lots of shrubs, plants and flowers in the central area, Sun loungers on the beach [free fo residents] The owner was extremely helpful givings updates on hiking situuations, best places to go etc. Restaurants [especially his restaurant] were great. Also nice bars nearby. Two well stocked supermarkets with local produce. Nice beach.

Everything was good

super clean, nice rooms, nice showers. (actually it would be nice to have an option to skip cleaning on some days.)

they ask hotel guests 10 eur to use their sunbeds and umbrellas. the beach and the sea are nice but some days hotels and bars which are not connected to the sewage network pump in their sewage water into the sea - then it‘s dirty (pieces of toilet paper, oil, etc.) for a day. this is the biggest problem with sougia and it is sad that they do not take it seriously.

This was our first time staying in Sougia having only visited for the day previously. We found it very relaxing with several tavernas to chose from, tried a different one each night and all were good. We had a large studio with an also very large balconey overlooking the sea an ideal location.

nothing to dislike

The host was. Very courteous. The sound of the sea was relaxing and the room spacious.

The stormy windy weather made It difficult to sit on the balcony. The red rain was an issue for everyone. The party in the restaurant on Saturday night kept us awake.

It is a great Hotel, very close to the Beach. All the Staff are very helpful with everything!!

It was a great Holiday, during my stay there was nothing I would have changed or could have asked for.

Nice helpful staff, great location on the beach, close to bus stop, small food stores and restaurants. Clean large rooms included small kitchen. I had to leave a day early because bus service s were being cut back for winter season (not the hotels fault). Also Park with big gorge hike closed, but I enjoyed the local gorge hike using convenient bus drop off at top of gorge.

Location was key to catching ferry to and from Sameria Gorge. By staying in Sougia we didn't have to arrive early or more importantly drive back in the dark after the hike. Although it was the end of the season we received excellent service and enjoyed our balconies room during the full moon.

The mountainous road to Sougia is extremely slow with many tight turns and narrow sections
