One of our rooms had a fabulous sea view with balcony. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern with good water pressure. Breakfast was a very good buffet, with a variety of dishes to please anyone. Coffee was great! Location right on the main street was fantastic, easy to walk to everything in Plakias.

Both of our rooms were booked and charged as sea view. One didn’t have a sea view at all, was looking at the local supermarket. When I talked to the staff she just kept telling me that it was a sea view room… it most definitely wasn’t. See photo attached. No option to change rooms as the hotel was full, and no offer of a discount. The air conditioning units in the rooms were outdated and inefficient… the room didn’t really cool down until about 6am.

Location was great. Breakfast was good.

They didn’t seem ready for us checking in at 3:45 pm when check in was at 3 pm. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor and it was unavoidable.

The location was excellent, right by the beach, we could have even breakfast, lunch or dinner by the beach, excellent service from the friendly staff. Food was exceptional. One can feel the personal touch, they make us welcome all the time, like family! We certainly come back as soon as we can.

Everything was perfect, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Good breakfast, good location in Plakias

Check in experience was poor and perfunctory compared to the warm welcomes experienced elsewhere in Crete.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We loved that we could listen to the sea from our bed. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was fantastic. Loved this hotel and the staff.

Excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful & friendly staff . Location is very central to the resort & they have a really good restaurant. It was a bonus being able to use the pool at the hotel next door.

The room cleaning regime was a bit haphazard. We asked for our towels to be changed after 3 days, although the room had been tidied. But, to be fair, the cleaners & reception reacted straight away to any request.

The street was noisy during nightime. But was ok with balcony closed, aircon was working well. The shower had a lot of features (massage etc), but they were broken, impossible to switch on. Shower itself worked well.

The staff is extraordinary friendly. They are the most lovely and friendly people working in a hotel / restaurant I have ever seen (and I have been to a lot hotels). My mother and me had so much pleasure because of you, thank you so much for that. We didnt feel like staying in a hotel, it felt like being guests at a friends place. We will come back. See you next year.
