We stayed there only one night and it was perfect. The location very convenient, there’s lots of great restaurants nearby, close to the beach and the old town is just a short walk away. Very kind and welcoming staff! And we were allowed to leave our bags before the check in and after the check out. The bus stop for the airport is just around the corner. Breakfast was good and delicious, although it did not seem to have big variety of options if you have some special dietary needs (wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for some people). Very clean room and bathroom too! Interior and furniture seem to be quite old-fashioned, but well kept and not broken or damaged, so that’s nice.

- there was some strange unpleasant smell in our room, not sure if it came from the AC or from some of the furniture.

Everything about the hotel is great! Where do I even begin. From a perfect location, professional, polite, kind staff, sea view rooms, cleanliness, cleaning and changing towels every day, lovely breakfast...you name it. They have it all. They even allowed us late checkout since the hotel wasn't fully booked. It's all available on foot. The beaches the Old Town, the bus stop to the airport, the restaurants . We fell in love in Rhodes even more because of this hotel. Thank you!

The room was comfortable with bedside lights and a small balcony, the breakfast was okay and plentiful, the location is good (10 minutes walk into town). Stand out for me was the staff. I assume it was the receptionist and barman who own the hotel. They are lovely people - very welcoming and thankful for the business. I would definitely return when back in Rhodes.

I would like to see a shower tray and curtain that keeps the bathroom floor dry, although I am aware that this is rare in these parts. Fresh coffee at breakfast would be great rather than instant, and I would bake less croissants at a time and not put them in a food warmer to steam and go soggy.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home Every staff member from Manager , front desk, bartender, night clerk chamber maids, breakfast staff were there to please us Was like a family, one in particular Michael was a treasure No problem was to big for him to address and fix We had no personal problems but he had a plateful. But was totally professional at all times I could go on but would be a novel Breakfast great, rooms clean and large, our balcony was very large Only a 10 minute walk to old town straight line so easy Had stayed in old town, to busy and crowded and loud at night worth the walk DON’T make your decision on 2 star rating in my mind it is political not deserved a very good three star book it you will be happy

There is nothing negative it is close to beach and tons of restaurants close by Book it you will be happy

The room, the view, the breakfast and staff were really nice. The air conditioner was included in the price and it was working well. The location is perfect.

The bed l was not too comfy because two single beds with different heights matresses were put together.

Everything was great. The lady at the reception was extremely kind and very helpful. She let us stay longer after our check out. The breakfast had a lot of options to choose from, the beach was 1 minute walk, also the bus to the airport was there so everything was neat. Every recommendation.

Nice view from the balcony to the sea. Fast wifi, strong AC. Hotel is 2 mins walk from the beach (not a sandy beach). Supermarket right opppsite to the hotel. Staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast way above 2 start expectation.

The hotel stuff is very friendly ,it was a nice and clean hotel .Breakfast was okay .It’s very close to the beach but a bit far to the old town .You have to waşk like 20 min ,The balcony was very big and had an amazing view .There should be some renovations in the bathroom,its a bit old fashioned but in general ı liked staying at Hotel Africa .

The breakfast was always abundant and delicious. The local chefs were very nice. The beach and the old town were also very close. The beach was 5 minutes to walk, the old town 10-15 minutes.

The shower was a bit small and the curtain was short, so the water could run out quickly, but that wasn't too much of a problem.

Travelled here recently for a solo trip. Absolutely perfect and just what I expected. Simple, clean and quiet hotel room with basic features. If you want Hilton then go there, but this is exactly a case of you get what you pay for. Yes I could complain about the plugs that slip out of the wall, the shower fitting that wobbles or the fridge door that creaks but this place still gets 5 stars from me! Excellent location, minutes from the beach and great views of the ocean from the balcony.

Only reason it gets 9 out of 10 is the breakfast which was very poor and an absolutely apalling vegetarian breakfast. Mushrooms were under the same lid as the sausages soaking in the smell and other than bread and cheese, there were no other options. The lovely chef did seem quite embarrased and made me an entire bowl of beans as a compromise, however I could only manage a few spoonfuls. Completely dodged the 2nd day and opted for a local restaurant
