The breakfast was very good and sufficient. The location of the hotel was also very good. It was within walking distance to the sea. The entire family and staff, especially Mr. Nikos, were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. thank you.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this accommodation. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of my visit. My room was spotless and thoughtfully prepared everything felt just right. It’s clear the team here takes pride in keeping the place clean and inviting. The location was ideal just a five-minute walk to the beach and the city center, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet at night. It struck the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.

The staff is super friendly and so sweet! They want to help you with everything. The location is amazing, 7 min walk to the beach with beach restaurant and beach beds. The Faliraki centre is about 7 min walk as well. The bus to Rhodes is close by (3 min walk). The supermarket is a bit overpriced (but so are all the other private supermarkets in Faliraki). The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We didn’t have any noise complaints. The balcony is in the morning shadow. Kitchen is packed with everything. Could literally not have a better price-quality deal.

Nobody uses the pool, it looks a bit sad. But then again why need a pool when the beach is so close by. Maybe they should remove the pool and build a night-bar or something?

This is not a flash, all-frills place - it’s a small, friendly, clean, family run block of apartments. Great location - short walk to all of the shops and restaurants. On a quiet road so very peaceful for sleeping. The rooms were spacious and very well thought out amenities. They included washing up liquid, scouter, tea towell, a proper kettle (but only small cups - so we bought mugs in the attached supermarket) and plates/bowls/glasses etc The bed linen and the towels were really nice quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Having a supermarket in the building was a big bonus. It was very well stocked with groceries, drinks, local goods and all the usual holiday souvenir shopping. The cleaner was amazing - very attentive and the apartment was always spotless. We had a fantastic stay here and felt very welcome and looked after.

There was nothing we disliked. A comment to say that the pool is a lovely addition but we didn’t manage to get in it as it’s not heated (not unusual - but just be aware. Am sure by July/August water will have warmed up!)

Very kind and helpfull staff! Very good location. Just a few minutes from the restaurants and the beach. Supermarket on site was very confortable, and we could buy food, drinks, gifts, and beach staff as well.. The breakfast was good, and we could join on the days we wanted. (Do not need to prepay for it). AC worked well in both rooms. We could checked out late free, as they did not have arrivals next day. Apertment was nicely cleaned every day. We had agreat time.

The "kitchen" and was very very small but we did not cook, so it was not a problem for us.

Our stay here was perfect we couldn’t fault it! The sunsets from our balcony were stunning! Nicos and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the shop downstairs is really useful! The kitchen is compact but has everything that you would need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cleaners came everyday, were very friendly and so towels were replaced and it was very clean. Great location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants and bars but very quiet. Close to bus stops and we didn’t have a car and managed to explore Rhodes, Lindos and Symi using the frequent bus and boat trips. The pool is small but clean and has lots of sun loungers, you can use other nearby pools if you want a bigger pool. We would stay again.

There was a bar but it wasn’t running/ open. This wasn’t a problem but good to know.

This hotel was the best choice for us! The room is simple, but equiped well - we missed basically nothing (functional fridge and freezer, air conditioning, television, basic dishes, hairdryer, clothes line on the balcony). The clean ladies cleaned the room every day and all staff was very kind to us.. The biggest advantage was the store that the owner (Nicos) runs directly on the ground floor. You can find absolutely everything here and it is cheaper in comperation to other shops in the area. The breakfast were amazing and tasty! You can choose and mix everything you like (juice, coffee, fruit, vegetables, toast, eggs, greek yoghurt, pankackes, ham/cheese etc). We would like to say big thanks to all staff, especially to Nicos, who was so kind and helped us when my pregnant wife had healthy issues. He took us into the hospital by his car because the local ambulance after we called emergency should arrive within 40minutes!! (for pregnancy I recommend the private hospital - 15min by car). Thank you Nicos, we appreciate your help a lot! Also, as our departure was in the evening, we could use our room through the whole day, so my wife had a lot of comfort during last day! Again, thanks. The hotel is close (5min) to the main street where you can find all shops, restaurants, clubs and other places for entertainment. The beach is approximately 15 min by walk from the hotel. Its nice, surrounded by many restaurants with access from the beach and small shops around the corner. Mostly you spend €20 for two sunbeds incl. umbrella. Its one payment formthe whole beach area, so once you pay, you can change your locations throughout the day and still have right for the two sunbeds :)

We booked this accommodation last minute and it was the best decision. Nice, small hotel, extremely friendly staff, excellent and tasty breakfast, small kitchen that allows you to prepare lunch or dinner, shop within the hotel that offers everything you need, daily cleaning, fresh towels every day... We are really glad that we came across this hotel. It is in Faliraki, which is a great location for trips around the island and also the place itself has a lot to offer. All in all, a well deserved 10 for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John Mary. Nikos and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us. Our room was cleaned daily, and we had everything we needed. The hotel's supermarket was extremely convenient, providing everything we needed without having to leave the property. The hotel's location was convenient too, with a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away if you don't have a car. There wasn't a single thing we didn't love. Thank you, Nikos and family, for your wonderful hospitality! Leaving was the only bad part.

We had an amazing stay in John Mary for a week in October. The hotel is small and has a cosy atmosphere. It is located close to the main street with restaurants and shops, as well as to the beach, but at the same time it's really quiet here. We found it a perfect place to relax and recharge batteries for the next day full of snorkelling and sightseeing. The personnel was very very kind and helpful! Will remember it for long. We loved the breakfast - didn't get bored because the food was always fresh and of high quality. Room cleaning every day, making the place super tidy. There were mosquito nets in the room - small detail but it shows that you will find all you really need for the best, comfortable stay here! PS We went three times to Anthony Quinn Bay - 5 minutes car drive from the hotel - and did snorkelling. It wasn't crowded at all in October. If you like marine life you'll love it! Crystal clear and warm water full of fish.
