The owner (Yiannis) is really great. Pleasant, friendly and tells amusing stories. Go for the hotel's breakfast (order and pay at premises) wide variety of freshly prepared food, delicious and at a very reasonable price!

Yiannis and his wife were great hosts. Friendly, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to help their guests with whatever we need. They made our stay so special and I would highly recommend this place. The room was very pleasant and had a nice little balcony. The hotel also has a large balcony overlooking Samos and its a nice place to sit and relax.

The walk back from Samos town in the heat can be difficult even though it's only a 10 minute walk but it's not a problem as its only a very short cab ride back to the hotel for approximately 5 euros back to the hotel

The breakfast was a nice spread of eggs, cured meats, olives, cheese, etc. -- everything you can expect from a scrumptious Greek breakfast. This is a family-run business, and it carried all the best characteristics of a family establishment: Friendliness, cleanliness, responding to your specific needs (like my not being sure if my ferry would arrive at 2 AM or 4 AM... I arrived at 5:00 AM). :) Thank you so much!

Nothing to dislike about Odysseas Hotel.

A lovely hotel run by a very nice and friendly family. The owners of the hotel were always around and gave us good recommendations for nice restaurants and beaches. The hotel is in walking distance to the center where you can find good restaurants. There are good public parking possibilities close to the hotel. We had a large balcony with a stunning sea-view. The sunsets from the balcony were simply amazing. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable&pleasant stay for its price. The pictures you see here are referring to reality and we found what we were expecting. Since Vathy is very central, you can very easily drive to famous parts of the island, such as Kokkari and Pythagorion.

A very nice and clean room, all facilities in good working order. Lighting, WiFi, hot water all good. Location not very central but there is a supermarket and restaurant just a few blocks away. Being away from busy streets, it is very quiet! If you are a hiker and use the Terrain Samos map it is fairly close to the start of the 2 marked trails, which is a great bonus. No real interaction with owner/manager except upon arrival.

The service was amazing! Every day when we returned, our beds were made and our room was clean. We also received clean towels every day. The host, Yiannis, is a very nice guy who is always there for a chat. His lovely wife makes amazing breakfast, very cheap. The view is amazing, you can see the bay and marvelous sunsets from the hotel.

We were warmly welcome at checkin, which instantly made us feel at ease. Our room met our expectations, super clean, comfy, with a lovely balcony overseeing the bay of Vathy and particularly great at golden hour. We really appreciated the little fridge and kettle in the room, for a fresh sip of water or soothing infusion at night. The hotel location is fairly quiet (not much traffic from the streets around) so it was easy to fall asleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at Odysseas Hotel. If there were two reco to make it even better, it would be to improve the strength of the wifi connection (a bit weak in our room, which was the furthest from the wifi hotspot), and to add a bedside table lamp (for travelers that wishes to read the traveling guide for the next day), even though there is one next to the little desk, so that’s really a small detail :).

Owner was super helpful and kind upgraded me and other guests to fantastic rooms with sea views. There’s an authentic restaurant, grocery store and bakery around the corner. Loved it because it was walking distance to port but the experience of a real neighborhood.

It was a perfect and I even had a bathtub which I needed to relax in after driving around Samos.

As someone who previously lived in Vathy, the hotel was well located to get around. There was a beautiful view from the balcony and a cozy courtyard. The hosts/staff were lovely and helpful, checking in to see that everything was okay. The space was comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay.

The ceiling fan/light would occasionally make a loud buzzing sound that made it difficult to sleep with on, if your preference is to sleep with a fan on. There is also an A/C unit in the room that works fine but can be very intense and slightly loud (as someone who does not particularly like A/C units).

A business that you will say that I chose this hotel. They were very helpful during my stay. They served me refreshments. The hotel was clean and beautiful. At the end of the first day they cleaned my room again. The view is very nice. A hotel where you can relax in a comfortable and peaceful way. I thank them very much again. I recommend it to everyone for accommodation.
