A lovely hotel run by a very nice and friendly family. The owners of the hotel were always around and gave us good recommendations for nice restaurants and beaches. The hotel is in walking distance to the center where you can find good restaurants. There are good public parking possibilities close to the hotel. We had a large balcony with a stunning sea-view. The sunsets from the balcony were simply amazing. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable&pleasant stay for its price. The pictures you see here are referring to reality and we found what we were expecting. Since Vathy is very central, you can very easily drive to famous parts of the island, such as Kokkari and Pythagorion.

A very nice and clean room, all facilities in good working order. Lighting, WiFi, hot water all good. Location not very central but there is a supermarket and restaurant just a few blocks away. Being away from busy streets, it is very quiet! If you are a hiker and use the Terrain Samos map it is fairly close to the start of the 2 marked trails, which is a great bonus. No real interaction with owner/manager except upon arrival.

We were warmly welcome at checkin, which instantly made us feel at ease. Our room met our expectations, super clean, comfy, with a lovely balcony overseeing the bay of Vathy and particularly great at golden hour. We really appreciated the little fridge and kettle in the room, for a fresh sip of water or soothing infusion at night. The hotel location is fairly quiet (not much traffic from the streets around) so it was easy to fall asleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at Odysseas Hotel. If there were two reco to make it even better, it would be to improve the strength of the wifi connection (a bit weak in our room, which was the furthest from the wifi hotspot), and to add a bedside table lamp (for travelers that wishes to read the traveling guide for the next day), even though there is one next to the little desk, so that’s really a small detail :).

As someone who previously lived in Vathy, the hotel was well located to get around. There was a beautiful view from the balcony and a cozy courtyard. The hosts/staff were lovely and helpful, checking in to see that everything was okay. The space was comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay.

The ceiling fan/light would occasionally make a loud buzzing sound that made it difficult to sleep with on, if your preference is to sleep with a fan on. There is also an A/C unit in the room that works fine but can be very intense and slightly loud (as someone who does not particularly like A/C units).

1. This hotel was beautifully landscaped with cascading fuschia bouganvillas and other colourful flowers/plants. The owner has put a lot of effort tending to his garden and flowers so that his guests can enjoy the fruits of his labour. 2. It offered to-die-for views of Samos town. You can take many scenic photos around the hotel and of the hotel itself. The rooms were tastefully furnished too. 3. The owner, Giannis ( I think ) and his wife, were very welcoming and accommodating. They upgraded us to a slightly bigger room that what was originally allocated to us. 4. It is fairly near the town centre and easy to get around on foot. 5. My sincere apologies to Giannis' wife because she thought I had rated Odysseas Hotel only one star on Google. That was a genuine mistake. I wasn't even doing a rating. I was just looking at the review page when my finger accidentally clicked on that one star. Please disregard this if you are looking at Google reviews.

A business that you will say that I chose this hotel. They were very helpful during my stay. They served me refreshments. The hotel was clean and beautiful. At the end of the first day they cleaned my room again. The view is very nice. A hotel where you can relax in a comfortable and peaceful way. I thank them very much again. I recommend it to everyone for accommodation.

Giannis is one excellent owner who is always ready to help and make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. We felt like at home, so we didn't even notice the small flaws that certainly exist, like everywhere. The location is ideal because you are not in a crowd and you have a wonderful view from the beautiful terraces. Everything is very clean and tidy and we wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and salute Giannis and his wife who work together to make this hotel a wonderful corner. I hope that we will see each other again as soon as possible 🤗

Good location. Short walk to centre of town. Owners very friendly and helpful. Our ferry didn't arrive till 4am and owner was waiting to check us in around 4.45am. Beautiful terrace with great view towards the harbour. Great place to sit in the evening for a drink.

May not be suitable for people with mobility issues, as rooms are over several levels

Friendly workers. our room was cleaned eveyday. air conditioner and fridge works perfectly. Hotel is in the city center of Samos so its lasts just 5-10 minutes walk to beautiful restaurants. Towels and sheets has very nice smell and was very clean. We rent a car from somewhere that Yiannis’s friend, it was really cheaper than other rental services. We really enjoyed our days in hotel

Only shower bath .. It was very small so it was difficult to move inside.

Giannis the host showed us great hospitality, checking us in at 3:00 am and helping us arrange transportation to a very important meeting in Vathy. Location is in a quiet neighborhood just above central Vathy. Nice hot shower with lots of water pressure. The room was so clean you could have eaten off the floor. We have visited Samos many times and we now have a new favorite place to stay in Samos.
