Lucia the host was extremely hospitable and welcoming to me and my partner, we stayed for 5 nights relaxing and taking a 2 minute walk down to the beach and Resturants every day then went on island cruises which are located just 2 minutes from the villa. The location was perfect and had plenty of Greek character, the room even had a fridge to keep food we brought back cold and we were gifted eggs for breakfast from the lovely Lucia who was more than welcoming and let us store our bags in the room on the last day as we had a late flight and stayed in Skála until we had to get a taxi to the airport which was very kind. Overall well worth the money and it’s a very well ran business. Thank you Lucia for such a wonderful experience 👌

If you are expecting your sheets to be turned down every night and a little chocolate placed on your pillow, then this place is not for you. It is a traditional Greek accommodation and it has its limitations, but all in all, I absolutely loved my stay there. Air conditioned, comfortable bed, lovely balcony, clean room, beautiful pool, great gardens, beautiful views, and bless bless bless the elderly lady who runs the place. A walk down to the Bach, a local supermarket, everything that you could wish for was within a very short distance. It reminded me of my early visits to Greece back in the seventies. Yes, the shower is limited, the in room hob wasn’t the best, but I really didn’t care, I wasn’t going to cook myself any major meals, why would you do that in Greece ? In addition, for the first time ever in Greece , not one mosquito was seen or heard.

Lovely villa in large gardens. Great pool. Sea view. Close to the coast and we were fine with the walk up the hill to the villa. Close to supermarket and lots of tavernas. We don't speak Greek so a couple of issues were dealt with via the website, promptly and as requested. Very friendly owner. I'd come again.

A frying pan and teatowel would have been helpful. One toilet roll when you arrive would be good. Luckily, we'd read reviews so came prepared. Some instructions for the TV would be good. We couldn't get it to work .. not a big deal for us .. but might be important for some people. Minor issues though as we had a great time 🙂

Loved that as a solo traveller I had a whole room and bathroom to myself at an island villa for one of the best prices on Kefalonia. Nice little pool and a great view of Skala beach. Huge bed + a single bed was nice and the small fridge was very handy for storing food. Adorable cats made the stay lovely. Extended my stay by 2 nights because it was worth it.

The bathroom was fine, but it's a wet bathroom, so showering means wetting the entire bathroom. This can be a little inconvenient, so I wonder if it's possible to install a shower curtain. The accommodation host was kind, but it was tricky to arrange payment for the extension, which was a bit frustrating. Skala location is difficult to get to by bus from the ferry, so be prepared to spend a lot of cash on taxis, which is inconvenient.

Such a lovely welcome from Lucia who we both fell in love with. We were all literally in tears when we left after 10 days. Bed was super comfy which is a huge plus as a lot of greek beds are like wooden boards. The gardens are stunning and its so quiet apart from the lovely cicada sounds. Fresh eggs appeared almost daily and Lucia got us both a wonderfully cooling drink on arrival. It's not far to the beach although walking back up the hill in the sun is not the easiest, but we classed it as extra exercise to make up for the mythos/cocktail and saganaki intake! CLeaning and bed linen/towel change was really regular and much appreciated.

The shower literally flooded the bathroom as there is no shower curtain or means of keeping the water in the shower tray. We were given a floor cloth to mop up at the end of the shower but not really ideal. We had room 12 so this may be different in others of course. The pool bar is not open. I was a bit dsappointed with this as there was no warning and it was a feature I had wanted when booking - if we wanted a day by the pool rather than the beach. No replacement of loo roll and no cleaning cloth/washing up liquid/tea towel even to get you started off. They're only small things but they can make it a lot easier on arrival . The towels were pretty miniscule but they were changed regularly.

Excellent personnel, beautiful quiet area with great view, very polite and kind people, beautiful view to the sea, comfortable room ,very clean, three minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Skala., beautiful apartments, and the owner very polite. My visit there will be priority for me every Summer.

Everything was fine. I liked everything, We had everything we needed. The place is perfect.

Stunning views and in prime location to the beach which is a short walk away. There are a couple of tavernas on the beachfront and more options for food and drink are a little further but within reasonable walking distance. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a long day of sunbathing. Staff were extremely friendly and the property was cleaned regularly. If it’s authenticity your going for then look no further, it doesn’t get more traditional than this !

Although it was a short walk to the beach / bars and restaurants , part of the road is very dimly lit when dark which can feel quite unsafe unless in a group but apart from that the location is ideal. There is a very basic standard of facilities available and we found that the shower would constantly flood the floor when used but if there was a shower curtain I’m sure it would be fine .

Perfect location, nice and quiet, but 5 minutes and you can be in Skala that has a bit of everything. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the basics you need. Maria was very welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed.

The room was only cleaned twice and was minimum. Our towels were taken mid week and not replaced although I think this was an oversight. No public toilet so on your last day if you have a late flight you're a bit stuck.

Beautiful sea views from window and balcony. Lovely comfortable king size bed. The room was better than we expected for the money. Exceptionally good value for money. Close to restaurants. We will stay here again.
