Great views, room was very good, lovely shower room. Aircon included in price. Kitchenette facilitates very good. Comfortable bed. Staff excellent and very helpful. They booked a taxi for us to meet us at the airport and they organised a taxi to take us to the port. Near to all resort bars and restaurants and beach. Pool area was fab. Breakfast very good and available from 8 until 11.

We liked everything about the property, however there is a bit of an incline when walking back to the property, and lots of steps, which could be a problem for some that have mobility issues.

One of the best stays we’ve had in the last few years. The views from anywhere in the hotel were gorgeous. You either get a wide view of Kamari below with the beach and the sea in the distance or the immense rocks that surround the hotel. There’s also a view of the zig-zag road up to Ancient Thera. From what I saw you can also watch the sunrise from most balconies in the hotel. The maisonette room we had was really nice and comfortable. Came with all necessities such as AC, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cutlery. Most of which came in handy, especially the fridge. Room was cleaned and towels changed daily. Great location. I thought it might be a trek when looking at the maps, and that it might take like 30-40 min to get to the beach, but I couldn’t be more wrong. 10 minute walk and you’re at the beach. Supermarkets within walking distance, and a ton of great restaurants really close by if you can’t be asked to walk down to the beach area. Unfortunately the most close-by bus stops were closed, but hopefully this was only due to a quieter season, and they will reopen at some point. I mentioned that everything is within a walkable distance, but one thing to mention is that it might not be the best for people with physical disabilities or ones that have trouble walking up hills. It is near things, but bear in mind, it is on a hill above the rest of the town. The breakfast was excellent and really varied. You could order fresh eggs and crepes, which we took advantage of a few times. There was also a bar by the pool so you could order any drinks, coffee, snacks or like a light lunch while by the pool. The staff were all lovely and really friendly and so accommodating. When checking-in the lady at reception explained where everything was in the surrounding area and they gave us a map and a bus timetable which was really helpful for getting around.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A big efcharistó from us and thank you for a wonderful stay. The family and staff were all very kind and friendly, always available and visible around the hotel, the view was amazing with a clear sunrise every morning, good size rooms, shaded areas for when it got too hot, the local information provided was excellent, great advice on where to go and help in booking great quality taxi transfers and a trip to a hard to reach location. The breakfast was exceptional, a range of options and we could sit at poolside over breakfast for as long as we wanted. The cleaning service was outstanding, rooms cleaned on a daily basis and we were even provided with a room to use after checkout due to our late flight back home, the bar staff and food was excellent we had some food at the hotel following a late arrival and the following evening with a gyro meal ‘exochos’, couldn’t recommend it enough. The pool and loungers were always available, the Aegean View Hotel is a truly fantastic place to stay with an authentic and traditional Greek style if that’s what you are looking for with a relaxed and comfortable holiday you can’t go wrong, would I go again ? Yes and would I recommend it ? Definitely.

Some have mentioned the hill though wasn’t really a problem and without it you wouldn’t get the great view.

What an amazing stay we left this wonderful hotel with beautiful memories. With a spectacular view within a few mins walk from the main strip and beach . The hospitality shown from Thassos and all his wonderful family and staff, bar, breakfast ladies,cleaning ladies and reception was superb. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels💕 would most definitely recommend this lovely homely reasonable priced accommodation. I will be back.👌

You made our experience truly special. Zoe too was incredibly gracious in assisting us by chauffeuring us to and from the airport and driving us to Fira. I even received a wonderful gift from the hotel, which was an exquisite gesture and made me so emotional! Overall, the Aegan View Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to return. It truly is a place where you can relax, unwind, and feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Nice location if priority is to be near beach, nice ocean view both from the rooms and the dining / pool areas. Spacious rooms and very friendly staff. George at the front desk provided detailed guidance both before arrival and after arrival on things to do and going around the town, he and the chef at the restaurant took extra care when mentioned vegan diet and ensured we were taken care of during our stay. Location is close to tour operators and easy walk down to beach. 24 hrs carrefour grocery store nearby too.

Little inconvenient location if using public transport as you need to go into fira to go anywhere and buses dont stop all the time (depends on whether full) and not very frequent.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating from arrival to departure. They even went out of their way to arrange a late check out for the day of departure due to my flight leaving late at night. Close to the airport, only a short walk into Kamira (10 mins) where there are plenty of restaurants and bars and beach. The views of the sunrise were exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

Strategic location on the slopes of the Profitis Ilias mountain but at the same time very near to the best part of Kamari black beach where the arch of ancient temple of Poseidon stand, under Mesa Voulos and the ruins of ancient Thera, wonderful view especially from pool area, very kind owners and staff, flawless services ❤️

The view, the pool, the bar, the breakfast bar, the comfy beds, the hosts, everything about our stay was exceptional. The best sunrise view each morning!!! Our family room (521) also had an outdoor spa which didn't realise at the time of booking was a great surprise. Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.
