Great location for everything in Kamari; but quiet and peaceful. Welcoming family run small hotel.

Maybe some slight updating. Some plug sockets a bit loose, and fridge shelves broken. Nothing major as its perfectly comfortable.

Everything is really clean and modern, with a good bathroom and comfy beds. The staff were all very friendly and always made sure to say good morning/night and to talk to us. The room was very spacious and the AC worked perfect.The location is as good as it gets, just a few steps from the beach front.

Nothing I disliked. This was my 4th time visiting Santorini and it's the best hotel I've stayed in.

The location is amazing, just a short walk from one of the best beaches on the island, but also far enough from the bustling nightlife. It's a perfect base for exploring any part of Santorini, whether it's the island itself or the surrounding archipelago. Akis, the host, is exceptional and always there to assist with anything you need.

Regrettably, the room we were assigned was located on the basement floor, so we didn't have a pleasant view. However, since we were only there to sleep, it turned out to be worth it in the end, especially considering the affordable price.

Very friendly staff made a stay so comfortable. Always a lot of smiles, good advice, positive attitude. The owner, Akis, is so kind and caring. It was a great pleasure to talk to him. He helped a lot with all my questions. Separate shoutout to Aurel (sorry, if I misspelt this name). He is a young guy working there during the summer season (if I understood correctly). He is literally the most heartwarming person I've ever seen. He was very responsive, always wishing a good day, helped organising excursions and was superbly fun to have a chat with. The room was very good too. New bathroom, personal vault, comfortable bed, fridge, kettle - everything was all right. After looking at reviews of other hotels in Kamari, I was afraid of the following things (which seem to be typical in Kamari): 1. Unpleasant smell in rooms. 2. Noise from planes and reception. 3. Lack of hot water in the evenings. I can assure you that it's not the case in the Akis hotel. None of these problems have been observed. I'm totally satisfied!

Actually, nothing severe I didn't like. One of the things is that they seemed to forget to change beddings. I saw a lot of hair on the pillows and a little dirt on the bed linen.

The location is just perfect, with many nice restaurants nearby and very close to beach. Mr. Akis and his wife couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The room is simple in typical Greek islands style, but it has everything that's necessary for a holiday including a fridge. The bed is hard but surprisingly very comfortable. The towels and bed linen are changed every few days.

Not sure what the daily cleaning should consist of, as wash basin and toilet seat were not cleaned.

Perfect location

It's not that I didn't like the hotel I.just feel they have a lovely hotel that would be even better if they had some breakfast facilities. Even a coffee machine that guests could use & a toaster.

Location close to the beach, bakery and food, friendly staff and easy to find. Not noisy. Free parking available follow the road left and in 100m on the left is an open car park. Ask staff for any help finding things, glasses to drink some wine etc all very helpful :) Air con placement was great, doesn't blow onto you on the bed so you freeze, just circulates around the room pleasantly. No breakfast service available currently, but there is an excellent bakery within sight that we would go to every day, get a coffee and a new treat each morning and take to enjoy by the beach, even better!

Loud guests returning late at night are very audible through the door, can't really be helped though just used the air con to give a nice background hum.

I like that the hotel is located in the middle of Kamari, just 2 mins to the beach and same to the walking street full of restaurants/bars and shops. The hotel is nice, we had a beautiful view to the mountains. The room was clean, and we had a daily cleaning as well. The stuff was amazing, especially Mr. Akis. He was extremely helpful and taking care of us :) highly recommended hotel. If I visit Kamari again, I’ll stay at Akis hotel.

The location of this hotel is just perfect. Beach is less than a minute walk down the street. You are connected with public transportation to all over the island. There are a lot of restaurants, tavernas, bars, and shops nearby. The hotel remains at the disposal of the guests 24/7. They are the most friendly and helpful hosts you'll ever meet. Akis - the owner is here for everything to make your stay in Santorini the best experience ever. The rooms are very clean. This place makes you feel like home! I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Santorini!

casual friendly, Mr. and Mrs Akis so helpful and a pleasure to greet each time you see them. the room was spotless, a wonderful shower, a lovely balcony with a view of their garden and the gorgeous mountain as backdrop. Taki their cat was the official hotel mascot. a lovely front terrace, bus stop steps away as was the most wonderful bakery ever!A few metres further was a wonderful sea front pedestrian walkway with all the restaurants and shops you could want. As we were seniors the flat walkways were appreciated Kamari is a true treasure,not stairs at every turn.
