This is a small cosy hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are pleasant, not luxuriously furnished, but all spotlessly clean and the beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel offers all sorts of additional services (transfers, excursions etc) and on the day of our stay there was also the opportunity to shower and change before our flight in the evening.The breakfast was varied, delicious and served on a very nice and lovely terrace.The hotel is in the centre of Kamari Beach, just steps away from restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach is only a 5-minute walk away. There are several large free parking lots nearby, so parking our rental car was no problem.

Very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and all other amenities! There are bus services from Kamari to other parts of Santorini which is highly convenient. We used the boat tour recommended by the hotel staff and had an amazing day! Thank you hotel Glaros for making our trip to Santorini so perfect.

We had a room close by to the stairs and could hear people coming and going late at night and in the early mornings.

The pool was great to cool off in with a lovely Mountain View but not so easy for my 80-year old Mum who would have liked a handrail to get in at the shallow end & more of it suitable for swimming within her depth.

Loved my stay here. A great warm welcome from Susanna and Irene. I had asked for a kettle and beach towel and they were waiting for me in the room. AC and a safe are standard with no extra costs. Swimming pool is small but perfect. Never anyone there. Room spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in your typical Greek hotel. Such a nice variety. The hotel is 5 minutes max from the beach/restaurants but far enough not to have any noise. Alexander’s restaurant down the road is very traditional with live music nightly.

Maybe ask for a room upstairs. I was Room 10 and as I go to bed early I could hear people coming back later. They weren’t loud but just ceramic floors.

Room was clean, tidy and pretty nice. The breakfast is not as big as in big hotels but it offers a good variety to choose from. Staff is super nice and is always available to help 24/7. The swimming pool is clean as well and is a great option in case the wind is too strong to swim at sea (most of the times is nearly empty so it would be almost a private pool).

Bathroom is really standard, nothing fancy or special but it does the job and is clean, which is the important. Depending on which room you get you might have windows facing public areas of the hotel, allowing other guest or passer-by’s to have a glance at your room (there’s curtains and blinds tho so no big deal).

The hotel was super clean, quiet and the pool was the perfect size-never too crowded. The location was perfect, it was nice being only 2 minutes from the beach but also away from the strip at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times

The breakfast was ok but because of the size of the hotel there were not as many options as we hoped-we enjoyed the unlimited juice and coffee

The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the AC in our room, but they fixed it as soon as we asked for help. The location is PERFECT, restaurants, shops and the beach is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. They also provided a transfer from the airport and helped us pick a ship cruise around the island. We would absolulety recommend to stay here!

Everything was brilliant. What they put as a description on the website is what you get. Very convinient with everything, bus stop, shops, restaurant, beach are just 5 mins away. Breakfast has plenty to choose from and the staff are very helpful. Well definitely recommend and come back when we visit Kamari again.

Big rooms clean rooms, balcony, toileteries, big shower, great breakfast with enough salty and sweet options. Great fruit salad, etc. also the staff was extremely kind and ready to help with everything. Would recommend always.

The beds were a bit noisy but nothing to worry about.

We had an upgrade for our room at Glaros hotel, which was so nice, very clean, comfortable, and with the sea view! Thanks a lot, Susanna and your husband. The location of this hotel is great as it is just 5 minutes walk to Black Beach where you can go swimming in the sea, or have a walk along the promenade, or along the beach as well as watch the sunset and sunrise. It's also just a short walk to the local bus taking you from Kamari to Fira bus station, where you can take another bus to Oia, or to other towns of Santorini, or to the airport and the ferry port. Breakfast is provided everyday and quite nice. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and some supermarkets near the bus stop. The hotel also has free wifi and has pickup and dropoff service from the port/or airport for a fee, which is quite convenient. The owners of the hotel are very nice and friendly. Thus, it made our 5 night stay in Kamari so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to you. From our experience, it's much better flying to Santorini though it's a bit pricey travelling by plane! We took the ferry, and it took a long time, up to 7 or 8 hours. We preferred the Blue Star ferry as the economy seats are much more comfortable and we also had a table with a few comfortable chairs and we chose ones with a view. Please note that the business class in the Blue Star ferry are seats like sitting in a plane, side by side, not as spacious as the economy class! On the way back, we took the Sea Jet ferry where economy seats were allocated like in a plane and not as nice as those economy seats in the Blue Star ferry. It's up to you to choose which ferry company, but we noted that the Blue Star ferry is huge like a cruise ship and it was so comfortable compared with Sea Jet ferry.

Nothing. We will definitely stay at Glaros Hotel again if we revisit Santorini in the future.
