Hotel Sunshine was a dream come through accommodation in Santorini Greece. From the moment we stepped in till we left it felt so much like home, the warm reception from the manager and the day receptionist on duty, to the hotel ambience and cleanliness to the beautiful site of the sea just opposite the hotel to the lovely and impeccable room arrangement and a lovely swimming pool behind sorry I missed a luxury of welll cautious English speaking, ever smiling ready to help staffs. *blows kisses muah*. I enjoyed my stay with my friend I went with and I will definitely be back 😘. I could keep documenting my Santorini stay because it was such an amazing stay, I duff my hat.

Nothing to be honest, nothing, I loved everything

Property is situated towards one end of the main beach promenade, close to the taxi stand. Directly out front are the beach loungers available for all hotel guests, with optional food & beverage service. The hotel contacted us prior to arrival to offer arranging transport, which turned out to be so helpful as it was significantly less than uber at 28 euro vs 43 for uber. Our flight arrived early, we messaged the hotel on booking.com, the driver arrived within minutes. We had considered taking the bus as locals do but all lines begin & end in Fira so it’s quite a long, hot process after a long travel day. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, given much helpful information and offered a welcome drink before being escorted to our room. Room was tidy, well appointed & comfortable. AC worked very well. A small balcony with a clothes line was helpful. The included breakfast was a very nice convenience. For all of our needs during our stay, the staff was very helpful & friendly, such as directions to the bus stop, arranging taxi for us when we in Fira after the bus stopped for the day (called them & they arranged for us), providing an iron, helping us locate a pharmacy, etc. We highly recommend Hotel Sunshine!.

Breakfast was sufficient

The basic rooms are spacious and comfortable. Cleaned daily and the amenities at the hotel were great. The hotel had sun beds directly in front that can be used by guests and a member of bar staff is on hand to ensure you have all the food and drink you need. The best thing about the hotel is by far the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and even went the extra mile during our stay as it was my husband’s birthday.

The location and the feel you got from the hotel were both great. It’s right on the beach, near plenty of restaurants but set back enough that inside was lovely and calm. The staff were all fantastic, helpful and friendly. The room was exactly what we needed, comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed (we particularly enjoyed our towel swans!) We didn’t use the pool with the beach right on the doorstep but it looked lovely as well. Very nice breakfast and we did eat at the restaurant for a few lunches - also great. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Nothing I can think of and we are quite picky!

We were two couples at the Hotel Sunshine in Kamari for 3 nights. We have been pretty much delighted with his charme. It’s a very good place to stay, nothing is far from it. We highly recommend! Ours thanks to: Rrezart: Warm welcome. Very helpful and polite and educated young man his kindness is beyond the usual. Terry: There’s is aware of everything that you may need. Don’t be afraid to ask. Dimitris: Is quite, and at the same time very good for information and details. Janis: Nice and joyful young man, very helpful and motivated to have a conversation. Everything,very comfortable bed ,lovely breakfast ,wonderful staff ,especially the night manager who checked us in .

Thanks to EasyJet changing our flights we decided to extend our stay for two more nights which proved to be the best decision for us. Not only we could enjoy our stay for longer but thanks to the great hospitality we could enjoy one of two best rooms in the hotel. Firstly we stay in beautiful room overlooking beach and fantastic sunrise every morning and the second one upon swimming pool whit the view at higher mountain of the island. Rooms are beautiful. Hotel location is great, close to the centre of the village, main bus stop where you can take a public bus to the capital or even closer to pick up point for many tours that island have to offer. Swimming with a bar in the back offers some privacy, second bar and a restaurant at the front by the beach whit plenty sun beds where we have drinks and some lunches as well. Absolutely fantastic hotel in perfect location whit perfect crew running this place.  Starting from the reception through the room service, the kitchen provides variety of tasty breakfasts and later lunches and dinner in the restaurant which is run by fantastic crew. Our experience make us planning next stay in this place again as soon as possible.

I loved the location, lounge chair access, breakfast, and friendliness of staff! Staying at Hotel Sunshine for a few nights was a great way to end my 3 week trip to Greece. It was very easy to take a bus to Fira for the night life and views, but I much preferred staying next to the beach in Kamari as it was less crowded and still had plenty of fun energy at night! As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for by staff.

Everything far exceeded our expectations. The location was out of this world! The private beach is one of the best swimming beaches on the island. The staff were super welcoming and very helpful. Each morning, they greeted us with a friendly smile, we had a giggle and they even taught me some basic Greek language. The staff helped me to book trips and were very accommodating on our final day while we were waiting for departure. The food and drinks in the hotel were amazing in particular the seafood. There was no reason to eat anywhere else (especially with the 10% discount). We ate there for breakfast, lunch and tea most days! I absolutely recommend this hotel! And, hope that, one day, I am fortunate enough to return. Thank you to all staff at Hotel Sunshine for making this a holiday we will never forget.

I didn't like that our holiday eventually came to an end and we had to leave.
