Location In Kamari was perfect: near to bars,shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great. Pools and Sunbeds well spread out

The noise from the planes 😩🙈 the price! Expensive for what it was

I had an amazing stay at Costa Grand Hotel with my wife for our anniversary. Everything was perfect, from the warm and professional staff to the beautiful resort itself. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless. The pool area was stunning and always well maintained. The food was excellent with plenty of variety and great quality. Every detail, from cleanliness to service, exceeded our expectations. It was a truly memorable anniversary trip - 10/10 experience! We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at Costa Grand Resort & Spa was truly exceptional. The pool was nicely located just in front of my room. It was always clean and perfect for a relaxing swim any time of the day. The breakfast was awesome, offering a wide variety of high-quality items, both hot and cold. From fresh fruits and pastries to eggs, cheeses, and traditional Greek options. A special thanks to all the staff, including Fani and Melissa, who were really lovely, smiling and welcoming. I’d also like to acknowledge the reception team, who were always helpful with any kind of assistance or recommendation. The beach, which was steps away from my room, was a major plus with stunning views. Overall, an unforgettable experience and I would definitely recommend this resort.

I had a lovely room with a wonderful view over the sea - I could not find anything I lacked during my stay, the water in the pool was perfect, the sound of the waves was just right, the bed was comfy, internet connection good which allowed me to work when needed. The buildings are well maintained and I loved the Oleanders in bloom throughout the complex. I want to specially mention the Staff - all of them were wonderful, from the reception to the restaurant and cleaning staff. I would return with great pleasure!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay because of the food options, the friendly staff, the easy access to the markets etc. I was getting married and the staff organised a lovely fruit spread and champagne in the morning. We were also given a conference area to get ready which was a bonus. The team was helpful at the reception and nothing was too much to ask. There were multiple pools which was amazing and since we were in a suite we had a pool just in front of our room.

The planes were constant however they stopped after a certain time. We also had a friend check out early and she left some gifts for us which were thrown away by the cleaners which was very disappointing considering it was sealed goodies one would have excepted they be maintained especially as my friend had let reception know that she had goodies left for us to collect.

I really enjoyed this accommodation experience because the hotel had many advantages. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The location was excellent, with many lovely cafes, bars, and shops within walking distance. The breakfast was also very good.

As mentioned before, it was noisy due to the descending airplanes. You never get used to that sound. Also the hotel is much more expensive compared to the hotels nearby. In addition, although we stayed there in the middle of July, we couldnt fully enjoy the sea due to the wind.

The staff, and the facilities were fantastic. Property was beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. Location was great to reach the rest of the Kamari area, and the staff was amazing to help get you whatever you needed.

We didnt love the airport noise, we had planes landing every 30-60 minutes from around 7:30AM-10PM. They move over quickly, but it is loud for about 30 seconds per plane. We did kind of get used to it, but based on the location of the property it is unavoidable.

Our stay at Costa Grand Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. Ours was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a private balcony with sea views that made every morning feel magical. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and high-end. One of the highlights was the resort’s pool area — serene, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. We also made good use of the spa, which offered a truly rejuvenating experience with professional staff and a calming atmosphere. Breakfast was another standout: a generous buffet with fresh local produce, traditional Greek dishes, and plenty of options for all tastes. The restaurant and bar staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Costa Grand’s location in Kamari is ideal — close to shops and tavernas, yet peaceful and private. We loved being able to walk straight out to the beach and enjoy the calm waters. Overall, this resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Santorini charm. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-end stay with easy access to the beach and local culture.

Overall, our experience was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just two suggestions for improvement: 1) It would be helpful if complimentary bottled drinking water were provided throughout the stay, rather than only on the first day. 2) The dinner menu could benefit from a bit more variety to enhance the overall dining experience.

The Resort is very beautiful, the restaurant is good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was simply lovely. One can walk along the beach and find plenty of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.

The fact that the airport is only 10 minutes away and all the plains land above the resort can be a bit annoying. The fist plain can land shortly before 7 am and the last one usually is before 11 pm, but occasionally one can land also at mid night or even later.

- HOTEL - Lovely, clean hotel with all the usual amenities: choice of many pools, well priced bar, decent breakfast, spa, gym (small but has the main things you'd need for a decent workout - treadmill, bike, cross trainer, smiths machine, cable pulls and free weights). Hotel is direct on the beach (one of the two black beached of Santorini) - ROOM - We had a sea facing room which was a decent size with a (small) pool. included fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, robe, slippers, sun loungers - TAXI - taxis were expensive given airport is only 10 mins away. Cost us 30E from airport to hotel and 35 from hotel to airport (private hire not via hotel). Tap water is not drinkable, hotel provides a free water bottle on day 1 only. - BUSES - I would recommend getting to places like Fira & Oia by bus, it is VERY EASY, VERY CHEAP & very comfortable! Simply ask the hotel concierge for the bus timetable and location of the bus stop (warning: bus stop is further up than shown on the hotel map, it's past the pharmacy on the corner on the right. Ask the shop keepers they'll let you know. It costs 1.60 Euros per person per journey. For Oia, take a bus to Fira (15 mins) and then change for bus to Oia (about 25 mins). Buses are clearly marked. - LOCATION - Hotel is situated in a fabulous location. There are many great bars and restaurants to choose from. There are ATMs and supermarkets close by too. - SIGHTSEEING - I would recommend doing Oia during the day as it is less busy. A lot of the cruise ships and tours aim to visit Oia for sunset making it very busy. If you want to see a Santorini sunset, I would recommend going to Fira, which is on the same side of the island as Oia and has a similar setting to Oia and a lot less busy. We stayed 3 nights mid-Oct and had a couple of very windy days which made it feel colder than what it was, would recommend taking layers. as when the wind drops, it's lovely and warm! I would stay here again.

- Noisy low flying aircraft - Could have done with a heavier blanket as was getting cooler (Oct time) - Taxis are expensive! Although this is nothing to do with the hotel. Recommend using buses wherever possible which run frequently
