We particularly appreciated Vangelis' welcome and advice. It was a great stay in a very friendly, green setting with a beautiful swimming pool and a flat that lived up to our expectations. Joanna Villas is a very nice place to recharge your batteries, knowing that the beach is very close, including numerous shops and good restaurants overlooking the sea... great in the evening 😊 What's more, it's easy to get around thanks to the local bus to FIRA, the central station, which goes downhill to all destinations. Exceptional stay. The owner treats you like family, and is always on hand for advice or tips. Amazing location, just 2 minutes walk to the beach, shops, pubs, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, trip organisers, taxi stops, & bus stops that take you all over the island for €2pp. Beautiful views whilst relaxing by the pool and its peaceful and quite. Everything was really clean, the owner takes pride on keeping everything Beautiful and he was great with my young boys. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's at the better side of the beach front (more going on nearer the mountain side, than further out to the airport side). I was here for a wedding and friends were booked all across the beach front, and this hotel was by far the best. I'm glad we picked it for our family holiday and friends wedding. Great for couples, solo travellers, or people with families. Breakfast was nice and a great little extra, was that you have full use of bicycles if you need them. I used them a few times to explore around the beach front.

I just wish I stayed longer

Location was fantastic, lots of restaurants, bars and close to the beach. Accommodation was immaculate, every little thing thought about and considered. The host couldn't have done any more - from organising transport, providing a fabulous breakfast, offering advice and recommending the best things on the island. He even went the extra mile, giving the kids drinks and fruit along with a beautiful lunch, just because. Nothing was too much trouble and a great deal of pride was taken into giving the best possible experience. You honestly couldn't want for anymore from an accommodation. #family of five - 3 adults and 2 children.

We loved all of it.

We had the most amazing week at Joanna Villas hotel in June. The location is ideal so close to the beach and best restaurants. The hotel itself is so beautiful, clean, all areas well taken care of. The pool is very good size and it has a separate area for small kids. It also has a small play area with lots of cars which was loved by our 3 year old. If you are travelling with small kids this is definitely the best hotel choice for you! The rooms as spacious, very clean and has everything you need. The pool area has a lovely view of the mountain which make it seem so secluded. The owner of the hotel takes care of each guest and helps with anything personally. We are absolutely coming back to Joanna Villas!

We had a wonderful stay at Joanna Villas! The pool was lovely, and the breakfast was a highlight — especially the amazing Greek yogurt and fresh orange juice. The host was very friendly and helpful, sharing great tips on what to see and where to eat nearby. We chose Kamari over Fira for easier beach access with kids, and it was the right choice. Kamari has everything you need — great restaurants, shops, and a bakery — all within walking distance. Fira is easy to visit by bus (€2 per person), so no need to rent a car. Parking in all the hotspots is a nightmare anyway. Joanna Villas was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day!

Loved everything about it.

This place was in a great location in the Kamari area of ​​Santorini. Big pool, clean place, child friendly service. The owner was a real soul of the place and he made sure we were all well. You should also trust the owner's recommendations for restaurants and what to see in the island, they are really good!

A bit noisy area, but so is the whole Kamari beach area. The airport is really close and you could hear the airplanes, but you got used to it after the first night. The breakfast was really good, but could be available a little earlier.

We stayed here 4 nights, our room was on the 2nd floor. It was nicely decorated, had a balcony with pool view, a comfortable bed, a very nice modern bathroom, a kitchenette with kettle, kitchen stuff, fridge, and even portable electric stove (on the shelf). Breakfast was very good. Coffee and tea were available anytime. The hotel is located in quiet area and very close(2 minutes walking) to the shops, restaurants and beach (it was still possible to swim in October). We use this place as a base to visit by car Thira, Oia, Light House and red beach. Our host, Vangelis, was very friendly, gave us advice on restaurants, helped us with fixing our broken suitcase handle, and, when we were leaving at 6:00 AM, he was already awake and helped to get down our suitcases! We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much!

We fell in love with Joanna Villas as soon as we arrived. The common area where the pool and breakfast area are located have a stunning background view of the mountain. The room was very nicely decorated, very comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and shower. Fantastic location, wonderful breakfast and Vaggelis the owner is one of the highlights of the place. Rest assured he will do everything to make your stay perfect. We followed all his recommendations and were very happy to have done so as all of them were great! Great places to eat nearby. Do go to Elias grill and Firastikies.

We spent a week at Joanna Villas in Santorini, and our stay absolutely superseded our expectations. This intimate and cozy hotel boasts a perfect location just steps away from shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. The room decor is tasteful and the size just right for a family of four. The pool is large, with both a shallow and deep end. The breakfast is a mixture of local specialities and continental staples, and can be enjoyed with breathtaking views of the nearby mountain. The absolute best part, however, is the host Vangelis, who provided us with ample good advice and who was ready to assist us at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations at breakfast with a nice cup of coffee. We hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Santorini.

We had a fantastic time. Joanna Villas feels like a little oasis, peaceful, but minutes away from some great restaurants, bars and the beach. The apartments have everything you need, immaculately clean with good insulation, with each has a little outside table/chairs area (our favourite spot in the late evenings). The pool and surrounding area is well designed with lovely gardens - it's a great spot for families. There's a great rocky mountain backdrop to the south (Mesa Vouno) too, which is a steep but enjoyable walk in the early morning or evening. The host/owner Vangelis was helpful, generous and very friendly throughout (all the other staff were lovely too!). He was full of great advice on the local town, and other places to see on Santorini and how best to get there (and when to go!). Vangelis wanted us to have the best holiday possible, and we very much appreciated that.
