We had a perfect stay at this hotel. We requested 2 rooms next to one another, which was accommodated. The hotel is peaceful and calm, there are no kids clubs and entertainment etc (which I love). Lovely breakfast of a morning. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

For a 5 star hotel, you would usually have cooking stations offering freshly made omlettes etc The breakfast was very nice however there were no cooking stations. I also found it strange that you could have as many coffee refills as you wish, sparkling white wine was also available but that if you wanted a fresh orange juice, you had pay extra for it, which didn't make sense to me.

The staff made the resort spectacular. Check in time was at 3 pm, but our flight arrived at 8, and the stopped by hoping to just drop off our luggage so we could tourist about the island, but the staff invited us to an extra day of the fantastic breakfast and rushed to have our room ready around 12. The staff went way above and beyond to take care of us and give a great experience. Especially for the price, I cannot recommend this resort enough. You're getting a 5-star resort for the price of a mediocre hotel.

Everything! Staff, cleanliness, breakfast (bucks fizz!), wonderful resort design. Location just a couple of minutes walk to so many restaurants and the beach.

Perfect location away from crowds of Oia and Fira. Immaculate hotel and facilities. Fantastic staff

The facilities, the room itself, the location, but most importantly all the staff and the hospitality! From the moment we came, we are greeted and welcomed by people that would do everything to make our stay as great as possible. To top it all off, on the last day that we left the hotel to catch a flight early in the morning, we accidentally left our passports inside the safety box in our room. From the airport security (about an hour before the flight) I called the hotel and told the reception about this emergency situation, and after about 15 minutes my passport is delivered to the airport, without me having to pay anything for this! If this does not define the highest level of their hospitality, then I guess nothing else would :)

The location of our room (The Suite part) is in another part of the hotel, which is separated by a car road. Although this is only separated by a road of about 5 meters, it gave us a sense like we were in a part of the hotel that has less security unlike the other 'normal' part of the hotel which is closer to the hotel reception, restaurant, etc. However, this is just a 'feeling' that it gave us, but the actual security and hospitality of our part is also being taken care of very well, as we could see a lot of the staff wandering around in our part of the hotel!

Vey nice resort that is perfect but still very familiar and friendly. The resort is large and it offers several swimming pools and places to take a rest. Nevertheless, it still keeps intimacy and privacy, you feel like at home. Clean and well furnished rooms, not large but very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Perfect and friendly staff. Parking place for rented cars. The resort is in a nice village, close to the airport. It offers a good beach, plenty of tavernas, restaurants and bars, still not extremely busy and crowded. We highly recommend this place!

Nothing..everything was great

The smiles and hospitality of the lovely staff, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the best sunshine reflecting off the pool, the clean and comfortable interior/room with privacy, we can spend a beautiful holiday. Just over 4 hours from our apartment in Paris. All we have to do is book the hotel / the flight, it takes only 5 minutes. They take care of everything else!!

Every member of staff worked hard to make sure our stay was just perfect. It was very clear that they had all received a lot of high quality training which was demonstrated in innumerable ways throughout our break. Never intrusive and always friendly and approachable. We were a little unprepared prior to arriving and relied on the local knowledge of the general manager, Antonis, for some excursions and he gave excellent advice leading to one of our best sailing trips ever. The hotel has excellent facilities for spending the day lazing by the various pools. There are loads of high quality sunbeds and we never needed to reserve space. There was a modest fitness centre with support for cardio (treadmill, rower, bike) and weights (dumbells, weight machine) with space for yoga and stretching. The hotel food and drink was in line with prices at the beach and consistently high quality.

It's hard to find anything to dislike, but if pressed perhaps the breakfast bar would benefit from a non-diary selection (oat and almond milk) to save asking at the bar.

Kastelli Resort exceeded my expectations , beautiful hotel , wonderful staff , exceptionally clean , wonderful breakfasts , close to lovely Town only 5-10 minutes walk , 10 minutes taxi from airport but incoming / outgoing flights no disturbance , rating 10/10 so much so have already rebooked to stay next year 2026

Cocktails , Mojito was extremely poor even though the kind barman made me another after I complained about my first , couldn’t taste the rum , tiny bit of mint that had seen better days and small about of ice cubes when it should be served with full glass of crushed ice plus served in a round whisky type glass when a tall glass would be better , barman said he follows a recipe but maybe a little more reading / learning on making cocktails for the future , sounds bit harsh but really it was the only thing I could thing I could think of not giving 10/10
