First of all the staff where amazing From the lovely lady on reception, the young man serving breakfast to the young lady that performed the daily housekeeping. The room was lovely and clean, with a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival. The hotel is situated approximately 3 minutes to the beach or a 5 minute walk to the square to catch the daily bus. The lady on reception recommended places to eat and also that there is a free bus at 10pm to take you to an amazing bar in the abandoned village,Micro Choria. The outside area of the pool was lovely, and the garden furniture was good quality. All in all, this is a perfect hotel if you have children, but not maybe as a solo traveller.

Very little. The only issue I had was the lack of sunbeds , there were only 12. The noise from the pool carried to the room I was staying in. Some more renovation is needed in the garden areas. A little variation on the hot breakfast would have been nice . €10, paid the day before offered plain omlette, fried or scrambled egg., accompanied by cold cheese slices, ham, salami, bread, yogurt.fruit, baked goods,, cereal, water, orange juice and hot drinks.

We recently spent our summer vacation at Tilos Mare with our family, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The comfort level was exceptional – the rooms were cozy, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We felt completely at home throughout our visit. In terms of value for money, it exceeded our expectations. The amenities, cleanliness, and overall quality of the hotel made it an excellent choice for a family holiday. We truly felt we got more than what we paid for. The location is ideal – peaceful, beautiful surroundings and just a short walk to the beach and local shops. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were great – clean, modern, and well taken care of. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying a meal, everything was top-notch. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive. Every area was spotless and hygienically maintained, which added to our peace of mind. We rate our stay a full 10/10 – truly exceptional! Tilos Mare gave us one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had, and we’ll definitely return for our next summer vacation. Highly recommended!

The pick-up and drop-off service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The receptionist was especially kind and gave us great tips for exploring the island. The pool service is excellent—perfect for relaxing and staying cool when you don’t feel like going to the beach, and it’s a rare feature to find on the island. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was cozy and well-equipped.

The staff was really nice and did everything the could to make us feel welcome. Big room.

The room was nice and big, but we had a leaking pipe under the kitchen zink, and water from the bathroom was somehow dripping through the wall and into the bedroom everytime we flushed the toilet. We had a towel on the floor to soak up the water and we tried to explain it to the staff - hopefully the fix it before renting out the room again. The balcony in the family room is really small - smaller than the ones in the double rooms.

We received excellent service from Olivia, who picked us up from the port on arrival and took us back on departure. We were a little disappointed with the room we were were given on arrival, only because the view was restricted by an adjacent property. Had we just booked for a couple of nights we would have accepted it because everything else was fine. However, as we had booked 9 nights we really wanted something better. Olivia said it might be difficult to move us because the hotel was almost full but promised to try. Just a few minutes later she came up with an offer. We could move immediately to a larger room for 4 nights at no extra charge if we agreed to upgrade to one of their best rooms on the first floor, with mountain views for the remaining 5 nights. We were shown the room and it was just what we had wanted. After that, we enjoyed both rooms and had a wonderful time there. It was a lesson learned. We really should have booked the best room in the first place! The cost was considerable more but it was worth it. We initially just booked one breakfast so that we could decide whether or not it was good value. It was exceptional value so we booked breakfasts for the whole stay.

The only thing really was that the implements and pots for the kitchen were somewhat quirky! There was a huge saucepan but not a small one for example. It wouldn't have been easy to prepare any cooked meal. It didn't really bother us because the breakfast was so good and we wanted to eat out. I'm sure if we had asked something would have been done to improve things but it isn't what would be expected. I would suggest that the the descriptions of the rooms should be amended to highlight the differences between the room types.

Kitchenette with everything needed. The pool was a perfect cool down. Easy access to amazing sunrise walks alongside the waterfront. Close to small shop and bakery for freshly baked breakfast bread and the pebble beach with access to beach restaurants for the day. Lovely walk down to the little town square with local restaurants and cozy bars for a wee drink in the evening.

Although there were only two of us we stayed in a two room apartment. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful indeed. The apartment was comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a wrap-around balcony so could always choose whether to sit in sun or shade. The air conditioning worked well. The views from the balcony were delightful, far-off hills and a lovely swimming pool. Located close to the sea front in Livadia with its harbour and a long promenade, stretching right around the bay, with mini-markets, gift shops, bars and tavernas. The swimming pool was fabulous, kept really clean despite the delightful bougainvillea dropping petals on it all the time. It was a clever pool with a sculptured bottom so that it was shallow all round the edges but around 2 meters in the centre.

The apartment had a hob and a kettle but we would have welcomed a toaster and maybe a microwave. There was no plug for the sink and no tea towel to dry dishes. No other snags.

Great location in short walking distance to bars and restaurants. Collected, and returned to port by the lovely Olivia. Room was spotlessly clean, and cleaned during our 3 night stay, comfortable beds, nice balcony. Pool was beautiful with sunbeds and surrounded by gorgeous Bougainvillea. Breakfast was adequate, maybe some nicer bread would have improved it. Eat at Omonoia and Mediterranean Delights, great cocktails at To Petrino. Thank you to Olivia and her lovely friendly team 😊

Nothing really.

The hotel manager Olivia picked me up at the ferry dock and also took me back when it was time to leave. She also provided helpful tips and recommendations on what to see and do on the island and warmly greeted me each time I came and went. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Comfortable room with a balcony and a line for drying clothes. It is just a short walk to a lovely beach with restaurants and beach chairs. The walk into town is short as well. Very quiet and friendly island!
