Incredible place, it has the most beautiful view of the Aegean sea ever. Only for lovers of nature, quiet beaches and peace. Breakfast super delicious in a terrace facing the sea and Knidos bay. Dinners full of Turkish exceptional appetizers and main dishes under a night sky filled with stars that only such an unpolluted place can show. Service from owner and staff is consistent with the great Turkish hospitality, they made our stay as comfortable and special as possible. I have wonderful memories of every single day spent there and I hope that I will be able to return for many more unforgettable holidays .

Göknar Knidos became a home, 3000 km away from home for us. Staff was great, Mr. Talat did everything and even more to give us a nice vacation time. They were all helpful, suggesting new places, offering new adventures, even rewarding our little discoveries 😂 I can frankly suggest everyone that is looking for a retreat house, away from everyone and everything, to find peace and joy in their vacations. And the sunsets are a total experience 😉

The last 2 kms of the road is a bit hard, I suggest an automatic car to go there, a 4x4 would be even better. And the road to the sea can be tough for some people, but Mr. Talat offers picking up and taking down with his 4 wheel drive 😉

Incredibly peaceful place, with very friendly owners. Feels like a slice of paradise — eating ripe figs straight off the tree, spending all day by the pool, perfect sunsets, private beach, watching shooting stars on the sun beds at night, simple but very tasty dinners. Honestly one of the most romantic and secluded hotels I’ve ever seen. We spent two nights here and never left the property — it had everything we needed and was wonderfully relaxing and special.

The hotel uses solar power — it’s not possible to use the air conditioning after sunset. That’s fine, it must be crazily hard to run a hotel off-grid, but if we’d known that in advance, we would have booked the notably cheaper rooms without A/C.

Amazing. We loved everything. But more than anything the atmosphere, the relaxed nature of everyone there. The owners and staff make you feel at home. We wish we knew more about this hotel before planning our vacations in turkey, and would have stayed there for a whole week or two! We suggest coming to this hotel and taking your time to adapt to it. Learn to live a tranquil life, follow the rythms of nature here. Bring a nice book and just enjoy the pass of time. Nature is beautiful, surrounded by olives, figs, vineyards, and so much more. There is a beautiful private beach you could swim naked if you want. Such a difference from being a few days earlier in the crowded streets of bodrum or kusadasi full of intense and sweaty tourists. We just loved laying down by the pool or in the beautiful dining place watching the nature and the beautiful view of the sea and islands change as a beautiful painting each hour. Very nice to be able to sit down at night in the bar and have a nice talk with Talat (owner). 10/10. We hope to come back in the future. Greetings from Ecuador!

Its exceptional setting within an archeological area overlooking the hilltop where once stood Knidos’ lion. The view of the Aegean Sea is breathtaking. Good simple Turkish breakfast. Very nice and friendly hosts. Lovely pool. View of the stars at night time.

This hotel is not for everyone, so please don’t be tricked by my high rating: The infrastructure is old and there was a nasty smell in our room coming from the toilet, which the hosts were aware of and working on. The hike to the beach below is only for the fit and more adventurous. The sea is pebbled and often wavy.

Location is just out of this world. It is away from the main town, if you're after solitude than this is perfect. Have a private beach and pool at the location. Owners are nice and helpful. Clean rooms and beautiful views from balcony.

Walk down the private beach is quite long, you need to be fit enough to walk back upwards. Took us 30 mins and we were sweating badly.

Pretty house perched at the tip of the Datça peninsula, isolated in the midst of splendid natural surroundings. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Very nice and helpful hosts.

The concept, which is intended to be flexible - more a guest house than a hotel - creates a few minor misunderstandings. For example, we would expect prices to be lower.

The whole feeling of the place is totally out of this world. It reminded me of the Sinai, a remote oasis far from civilization. The wind here is unlike anywhere else I've stayed. It gives you a right battering but washes away all your thoughts, silencing that constant inner monologue. I love those places that are so remote and self contained that I can finally disconnect from the rest of the world.

The hotel is located on top of a mountain at the tip of Datça peninsula with almost nothing around. You’re completely surrounded by nature and looking at a stunning view. You’re far from all the hassle and crowd of the downtowns of the coastline. Hotel has a little private bay with a crystal clear water. We were completely alone there on both days we were staying. It was basically our own private beach. The hotel also has a very nice pool area with the same amazing view. Since there’s not much light pollution around, you can clearly see the stars when it’s dark. There’s also a terrace located right next to the hotel where you can watch the sunset over the ancient city of Knidos. The couple who run the hotel are very chill and friendly. We would love to come back here.

Common areas around the pool might have been a bit more cleaner.

This is a little “off the beaten track” - you’ll need to be a confident driver to get here, but it’s worth it as this place is the best - staff are so so welcoming and hospitable, location is stunning at every corner, food is great. just an all round great experience ! we loved our time here - we even had a special tour guide (Uzay!) who showed us the local quartz mine and took us down to the secluded beach with his dog Paps. if you’re thinking about booking this - don’t hesitate as it’s truly amazing and special here.
