Our stay at Voreina Gallery Suites was really beautiful! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was seamless and unforgettable. Their genuine hospitality truly elevated our experience. Nestled in the peaceful village of Pyrgos, the suite offers a serene escape from the crowds that overrun the more touristy areas of Santorini. Yet, it's perfectly situated to explore all parts of the island—whether you're heading to the lighthouse, the various beaches, or the bigger cities likes Oia and Fira, everything is really just a short drive away. And the view really fits the previews! Waking up to the stunning panorama of the island and the caldera was a dream. A highlight of our mornings was the breakfast, served right in our suite, which was the perfect way to start the day while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for a place that combines authentic charm, top-notch service, and a tranquil atmosphere, Voreina Gallery Suites is it. And if you want to know more about the island, the hosts are always happy to give advice and organize trips (we'd definitely recommend a tour with a sailing boat and a boat ride to the neighbouring island) + when one of us caught an ear infection they immediately arranged a doctor visit etc.

Everything about the suite and location is exceptional. Positioned on one of the few quiet streets on Santorini with stunning views of Thira, Oia and the caldera. Not even the beautiful photos do it justice. The suite itself is spacious, with a unique Mediterranean colour palette for each of the 9 rooms, that never feel tacky or gaudy. Our room, #9 the Vineyard, was decorated with warm whites, olive green and pale burgundy, like the Santos winery it was inspired by. The king bed was supremely comfortable, and things like power sockets, light fittings and air-conditioning were well placed and worked perfectly regardless of the weather, keeping the suite supremely comfortable whether recharging your batteries overnight or having a lazy afternoon siesta. The breakfast provided was delicious, and served to you on your spacious balcony or the cozy living/dining room. There is a wide range of options to customise it to your choice, and my fiance and I tried several over our stay to mix it up and were never disappointed. The serving sizes were such that you can happily skip lunch, which had the added benefit giving us more time to explore the island, especially since we only had a short (3 day) stay. The reception team were incredibly helpful and beyond nice. If you give them enough notice they can arrange transfers for you from the airport or ports complimentary with their own driver, and also will book any and all experiences for you, and find the most competitive price! They really look after your interests as guests, and made us feel like part of the family. Their English is fantastic too, so don't fear any confusion with Language differences. There are probably another dozen small things (like the cute little library in the front office where you can borrow books for your stay) that I'm forgetting that added to making the experience so enjoyable, which is why I cannot wait for my next holiday to go back and be reminded of it all.

Leaving.

This was our first trip to Santorini and was unsure as to where to stay on the island. A friend had recently returned from the island and had stayed at the Voreina Suites in the village of Pyrgos and recommended it to us. So glad they did. The apartments are beautiful and superbly appointed. The location is perfect as the village is in easy walking distance and there is plenty to see and explore in what initially looks like a small village but is actually larger than you think as you discover as you navigate the small, narrow, twisting streets in this lovely historic village. It is simple to get the capital Thira via taxi or local bus. We went on a day when only one cruise ship was in port and it was still busy. It may not be as easy to navigate around when there are three or more in port! That said, its is beautiful and worthy of a visit but oh so nice to get back to Pyrgos. The team that run the Suites are amazing and cant do enough for you. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning courtesy of Nico. A lovely way to start the day. George and Gary on reception will help in any way that they can. They will also drop you off at Santo Winery (thanks George) for the amazing sunsets. It is walkable but very nice to be driven there as it all adds to the experience. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent. We were met at the airport and greeted by staff when we got to the hotel. The staff took the time to map out their favorite locations and restaurants around the island and explaining it all for us. They also took care of breakfast orders, car resverations, late night food orders, and in-room massages. Always friendly with a smile on their faces. Absolutely incredible stay. Room was large with a huge shower and nice pool/terrace. Due to weather, could not use the pool though.

The place is simply amazing! It’s away from the touristic areas, but not too far from there. Perfect for us, because we do not like crowds and too many tourists around. We enjoyed a great suite with a private infinity pool. View was fantastic! Breakfast was tasty and flexible regarding time slots. The personnel was extremely kind and hospitable - they made us feel as we were family guests. I had my B-Day during our stay and they brought a little cake for me at breakfast. Very thoughtful of them! They truly care for their guests.

It’s not that children friendly (the whole island is not really meant for family trips), but we expected it and had brought some board games.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Whether that be Voreina organising a transfer, greeting us with champagne and wine, or preparing a map of the island with handwritten notes. The apartment is in a great location in Pygros, amazing view across Santorini looking over towards Oia. It was extremely clean, really friendly staff and very helpful. A lovely touch having breakfast delivered each day outside by the pool. A dream place to stay on Santorini island.

Incredible service from Artemis, Anastasia, Elemi, olga, Bleri. The reception staff were absolutely amazing meeting every need we had. We have never been so accommodated by a hotel. They had gone above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to come to Santorini.

Breakfast was great, variety of foods and choice of cooked dish. Amount in excess of need. Great omlets! Served at flexible times. Staff very helpful, easy to contact, polite and patient, going extra mile for our comfort, ready to help with booking transfers, car, trips, information about island, restaurants , shops etc (we even extended our stay at the last moment - and this was accommodated despite high occupancy). Great view from our apartment, stylish interior, very clean, recently repainted?, kitchenette with all necessary equipment if someone fancies a snack or drink in. Beautiful "infinity" pool with Jacuzzi. We noticed that even apartment adjusted for a disabled person is available - furnished with the same standard. Big library of books about Santorini available for hotel guests, also advise about tours and local history/highlights shall we want it. Central location , very quiet area, apartment feels "secluded", however v. close to local village (picturesque Pyrgos) - with many shops restaurants and coffee shops.

Just exquisite. Classy, clean, spacious and so relaxing! The staff welcomed us on arrival outside, the lovely Anastasia. Our suite was prepared beautifully for our arrival and stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt so at home! Very easy to get into Fira if you like for an evening (15 mins taxi) the old town of Pirgos is amazing and the best place to stay in Santorini in our opinion away from the touristy crowds. Beautiful restaurants close to Voreina in the small town and Franco’s cafe is a MUST at the church top. Wish we had stayed an extra couple of nights but we are so excited to come back and stay again. The perfect finish to our island hopping holiday! Thank you so much Voreina - our favourite accommodation of our trip. X

This place is an absolute gem! Our family loved everything about this property. I would love to highlight the exceptional staff that went out of their way on numerous occasions to provide recommendations and assist wherever needed. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a property, made to order with delicious ingredients. The room was very spacious with a huge, relaxing shower and private pool with patio. The location is centrally located to all activities on the island. Pyrgos is a great location and the pool overlooking Fira and Oia made it that much more special — remarkable view from the room. Hands down cannot wait to return, phenomenal stay!
