We recently stayed at Hani Zisi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place has undergone significant renovations after the flood last year, with a completely new reception and restaurant area. The bathroom in our room was also brand-new and impeccably clean. While the room itself had a slightly older vibe, it was spacious, cozy, and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The view from the property is breathtaking, with stunning sights of the surrounding mountains, villages, and even the sea in the distance. Chania is primarily a ski resort, so during autumn, there isn’t much to do except retreat, relax, and enjoy nature. However, if you have a car, there are plenty of other places on Mount Pelion to explore.

A couple of downsides to note: the bed in our room was quite small, and on our last night, it got a bit cold because the heating was turned off even though the outside temperature dropped below freezing. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for those looking to disconnect and soak in the beauty of Pelion.

Amazing views Great location on the top of the mountain, takes about 45 minutes to drive down. Breakfast A place to sit down and order a beer No AC - don't get discouraged, up there in the mountains it gets cold at night even when down in Volos it is 35 degrees (August). So AC isn't needed.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The decor is dated but everything is in very good condition. It is cool at nighttime so no AC needed. Very good wifi. Good breakfast.

We stayed during one of the worst storms ever recorded in Greece but despite everything, including a total power cut we still received breakfast and dinner and the people did everything they could to take care of us.

The weather

The scenery with the trees and the stream was wonderful. The place is ideal for relaxing, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options.

Wonderful place. Everyone is lovely and helpful. Huge parking place, easy acces and a big terrace with plenty of tables with an amazing view. By night when the temperature drops, no need for any air conditioning to sleep like a baby. Charming rooms and balconies. I can only recommend.

Typical Greek breakfast was delicious. Such a wonderful spot nestled in the mountains with spectacular views and great hiking.

Friendly staff. Good location for hiking the Pelion Peninsula trail. Lounge with log fire was cosy to relax in. Dinner and breakfast were good

Room was basic and shower was small with no curtain so it was impossible not to soak the whole bathroom. Expensive for what it is compared to other places. Wine wasn't good
