You could not ask for a better, more genuine accommodation in Portaria. George and Lena and the most thorough hosts. The room was amazing, clean, authentic to the history of the building, and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was impeccable, Lena even made us homemade spinach and feta pie. We learned so much about the area, the history of the house (which is one of the very first of the mansions built in portaria and “twin” to the museum). The location is central and it’s easy to pop around to the centaur path, the restaurants, and explore the town without much effort. There is private parking which is prime in these small villages. They are such a lovely and welcoming family, and made our stay so pleasant that we didn’t want to leave. They have put so much work and continue to work hard to restore their historic home and welcome travelers, I can’t wait to see what it looks like once they get the tavern open once again. Exceptional place, a vintage villa full of history, which envelopes you everywhere. Right in the middle of Portaria, with a great view to Makrinitsa and Volos. The rooms are large, with a high ceiling, very nice arranged and very clean. They hosted once kings and queens . Parking , internet, small fridge. Very large courtyard A special note to the hosts, Iorgos especially, very kind and helpful A real gem

The hotel is family owned and they really made us feel welcome. They did everything to accommodate our stay, such as giving us activity recommendations, warming up the bottles for the baby and even giving us a lunch bag at the end of our stay.

Amazing place with excellent hosts that were providing assistance with whatever we needed! Great location just next to the center of Portaria with private parking and a big yard. Breakfast was generous and delicious! The rooms were spot clean and spacious.

This is the nicest and the cleanest boutique hotel! The location is very good too, and the staff is absolutely lovely people. We felt that we have someone to ask about anything in the region and all our needs were met immediately.

Everything was perfect in our stay! The staff is very friendly, they gave us some great tips on where to eat and visit, all in all I highly recommend it!

The history of hous is realy amazing. The room is confortable and authentic. The Hosts are welkoming and full of good energy.
