Excellent location, near the village centre, 15 minutes from Volos. Traditional hotel, with good parking. The staff was obviously overworked and unhappy, but they were overall helpful and polite (looming over the breakfast plates to collect them should be avoided, but I suspect this is management policy).

The facilities could do with some renovation. Stray dogs in the pool area is a no-no. WIFI was a joke.

We loved the swimming pool, big and clean, with plenty of space and shade for warm days. Rooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable, and the staff was very polite.

The hotel has potential, but some areas need attention. Bathrooms need refurbishment, and the fridges didn’t work properly. Breakfast and food could be improved. Service was very slow, especially at the pool. With a swimming pool, rooms should have drying racks—there was no way to dry clothes.

The hotel is amazing. Breakfast is exceptional. Pool is beautiful. The views were incredible! Amazing restaurants to eat around. Baby friendly. Beautiful ambience inside the hotel. The staff is very kind. It had a good enough (hotel standards) gym.

Hotel restaurant (Veranda) had very limited opening hours and we didn't manage to try it. Daily room cleaning service was a bit odd. One day they cleaned the bathroom, the other the room. The pool had limited opening hours - as hotel guests we would expect to have better perks than the people just visiting the pool (ex. prices paid and longer opening hours).

I loved the interior design as well as the fact that on Clean Monday breakfast was traditional, breakfast was to my liking in general. There was also a coffee machine serving hot chocolate which we usually enjoy. The staff was really polite, that was beautiful, it made us feel really special. There was an extra entrance really close to our rooms which made our staying easy plus the view from Veranda restaurant as breath-taking. Last but not least, it was a beautiful gesture to have complimentary confection (halvah) upon arrival, thanks!

The extra bed was making funny noises during the night so we actually had to sleep on the floor using the mattress provided. The internet was present yet not all the time. Since there was a booster (or rooter) really close to the rooms I believe it has to do with the connectivity in general, not with the specific connection or provider. Last but not least, there were many dogs in the area it was annoying, they seemed to be of some short of specific dog breed, still my kids were a tiny bit scared.

Excellent breakfast and coffees on beautiful scenic balcony. Superior large pool and lounge chairs. Towels provided and good food setvice at pool. Beautiful decor in main hotel. Artwork. Large sofas and antiques. Very accommodating staff and personable.

Booked a twin bed room with pool view. Paid xtra 80 euros for seaview was told king bed, it it was queen so not comfortable . Very poor AC cold directed at head while on bed as was located on floor. Tried to adjust, but then blew off and on making night sleep uncomfortable. Asked for more comfortable deck chairs and was given them. No mini lines to hang wet bathing suits or to see out tops so dried on chairs.

Very comfortable and extremely clean. Location was perfect, near Portaria main square. Staff were very friendly and service was top class. There was a real spread for breakfast with just about anything you could ask for, including delicious local jams. Lounge area was very warm and comfortable; we thoroughly enjoyed sitting there by the fire place. Room was large with a gorgeous view of the pool and Volos. Heating was excellent throughout, especially in the room, which is essential at winter time.

Some small areas could be better maintained (small chips in the wooden railings, bathtub slightly cracked) but this was not a problem overall, just some details.

Very nice pool, big rooms with all toiletries included, very good breakfast, 10 min walk from the center of the city. You also have 2 restaurants, one inside the hotel and a fancy one with view over the gulf. Fair price of the room (specially comparing to overpriced thassos/ckalkidiki)

The room was very comfortable with big bathrooms, nice bed and beautiful balcony overlooking the bay below. All staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was very generous with many different options and being able to have it in the restaurant balcony with the great view was also a highlight.

The only let down was that we were provided with an extra bed that was not up to the standard of the rest of the service provided.

A lovely and charming hotel with excellent facilities! The rooms are spacious and both the indoor and outdoor areas are beautifully designed. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the pool and the stunning view !

Not really a downside, more of a small wish: I would’ve just liked a bit more variety at breakfast. It could make a nice difference, especially for longer stays.

Everything is as described. Very clean, staff is nice, attentive, speaks English. Gym pool & spa facilities are as described and in good condition! Overall an excellent experience 😁

No "basic" laundry service - only "premium" laundry service with 2-4€ cost per item, which can get prohibitively expensive. We had to run a trip to the nearby city for a self service Laundromat.
