The location in the middle of Arcadia with easy access to some of the best walks, was exceptional. The hotel is extremely comfortable with great staff. Breakfast was great too. A short drive to the lovely village of Vytina with a selection of tavernas and coffee shops.

It was a shame that the hotel had a bit of an ‘out of season’ feel about it with the swimming pool far from being ready to be filled and used. But being out of season did mean that we largely had the place to ourselves.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place is serene and perfect for visiting the nearby towns, monasteries and the valley. I would highly recommend coming by car as there are no restaurants nearby and the closest place to have dinner takes app. 15 minutes to get to.

We visited at the end of May and the pool was not ready yet, which disappointed our children. Nonetheless, we understand that the proper season starts in June so it was not a big deal.

Exceptionally friendly, helpful, and funny staff, wonderful and warm wooden rooms, breathtaking view, fulfilling breakfast with a hint of tradition. Easy to reach, relatively close to a lot of destinations and trails around the mountains. Was great during the winter, but also has a lot of facilities for the summer. Only the gym isn't that great, but you'd rather walk around the mountain or on horseback instead, right?

The hotel and its environment are even better than on the photos. We had a very peaceful stay and decided to stay longer than initially foreseen. The hotel has a lot of character and the view from our room was wonderful. The hosts, including the dog, were very welcoming. The breakfast is very good. The village Vytani is beautiful and has many restaurants and cafes. By car it takes less than 15 minutes to get there. Please note that you cannot eat at the chalet, that is a bit a pity as it is so nice to sit there. There is a beautiful hike you can do starting very close from the hotel. The trail goes until Vytani but you can also just walk part of it. It is very beautiful. You can visit other nice villages nearby like stemnitsa and Dimitsana, go on a horse ride or do some (light) rafting.

As mentioned our experience was very positive. A small improvement could be to add some more lighting in the rooms, especially at the entrance where the closet is.

The rooms were clean, towels were being provided every single day and breakfast was always fresh with a large variety of foods provided, all catered in a dining area with a fireplace. The staff were absolutely lovely, so helpful, kind and hospitable. The most amazing thing was the breathtaking view from our balcony and Freddie, the owner’s pet companion who is absolutely adorable and helpful too (greeting us when we would arrive and walking us to out car whenever we were leaving the chalet)

The host (Socrates) was very nice, waited for us as we arrived from our walk along Menalon trail. There's a single tavern in Elati, it was closed the day we arrived. Socrates offered a free ride to Vytina and recommend a good restaurant for dinner. Plus, gave us a phone number of a taxi so we can return on our own. Breakfast was really good and generous, the cook was a lovely lady, attending to our every need.

The location of Chalet Elati is good for the view, but a few minutes from the center. Elati itself is the smallest village along the trail so if the tavern is closed, need to take a cab to Vytina to eat. The most expensive night on the trail, so value for money is not great.

Facility is on the high end with a wooden "ancient" feel without losing it luxury. The staff was very helpful and nice. Roon equipped with a small kitchen sink, and large balcony. We received a coffee maker machine upon request which was very pleasent.

Pool was a bit dirty, bar closed early and without other options in the village we wished we could have something to drink after dinner. Room price was pretty high compared to other places along the trail.

The hotel is located in a quite beautiful location, a few hundreds of meters, near the village, which gives it a unique experience. The hotel has a very large ground of its own which makes it very spacious. This is a real luxurious place without being pompous. The rooms and the entire hotel, are nicely decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. This place is highly recommended for people looking for a quite and luxurious place.

Socrates and the staff were friendly, available and always eager to help. Freddy the dog is a joy to behold. The location is breathtaking

The host Socrates was absolutely marvelous. We got an upgrade for our room, which was very much appreciated! The hotel itself has a lot of charm, the rooms are very spatious. The breakfast was fantastic, thanks to Venetia who cooked something different every morning! The 'mascotte' Freddy (the dog) was also a nice bonus. The hotel has amazing mountain views. There is enough parking space. The location is perfect for exploring the mountains, hiking, rafting, horse riding... but it is located in a small village, so you can enjoy some peace and quiet if you want to. For diner there are a lot of good options in Vitina, a town 15 minutes away by car.

The WiFi in our room did not work all the time, so we had to disconnect (which was actully not so bad).
