Fantastic place to be, on top of the hill. The apartment (first floor) in stone is really nice. The restaurant next to it is really convenient both for the breakfast and dinner. The food is really good and the personal very friendly. Despite the fact that it is on a touristic spot, in October, it was very quite as off 18:00. And really nobody before 09:00. Some exercises to go to the sea... about 250 stairs down and the same to go up. The water is cristal clear and fishes are very visible. The spot is also equipped with springboard for the courageous persons. I would say one at 5 meters high and the other one 8 meters. Parking is great.

The appartment description is correct, but the kitchen furniture could be improved with toasters and coffee machine.

Breakfast was not included in our overnight stay. Breakfast had to be chosen from the menu in the restaurant. We chose what we liked. We had a lovely room on the top floor with 2 balconies and a view of the cliffs and the sea. We saw the sunrise in the sea! It was quiet and nice because we were at the very beginning of May, when the season is just starting. Loved the sunbeds on the landings! The manager of the accommodation was very kind, smiling and nice! Wi-Fi was working!

The restaurant could have had a wider selection of fresh fish dishes, and greens and fresh vegetables could have been present in the portion.

We did not have breakfast at the property as we met with friends each day in Agios Nikolaos so I cannot comment on the food. Our room was comfortable with a little balcony. We walked all the way down the steps to the sea one night which was absolutely beautiful and highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel at the very end of April and it was overcast for much of the time. There were extremely noisy thunder storms and a lot of rain. Whilst we were warm, dry and comfortable in our room, it did mean that the bathroom water was lukewarm as their wasn’t enough sun to serve the solar panels.

Location is 10/ 10 and so are the staff (very courteous, homely and caring). Its a very unique property in that sense that you feel like floating right at the edge of those stunning sea-hugging cliffs. The views are amazing incl. the very spread out exterior where they serve food and drinks. There are stairs which take you right down to the stunning waters and caves (you can almost swim over to those caves).

Since its right next to the windy seas and cliffs, little more effort at cleanliness is needed.

Accommodation in Potamitis windmill was a birthday present for my brother and his wife. They were delighted with the accommodation in the windmill and the kindness of the owner. The owner fulfilled all my requests on how to welcome the guests and in addition they received an additional dish/drink from the owner for free for each meal. All the time the owner was checking if they had everything they needed. Food in the restaurant was delicious and value for the price is good.

The location is so good. We can walk downstairs like 2 minute then reach the sea. The view of balcony is lovely. The hotel has amazing restaurant which is the best one I’ve had in the whole island. The owner and the staffs are also amazing and lovely.

The room facilities are not so compatible but it’s acceptable.

The view and the sea was amazing.Very close to the blue caves.The location is a bit far from the center ,by car it took almost 1 hour from the center/port.If you want some isolated holiday then it is a very good place.There also a mini bay close by and good beaches around.Other than that the staff was very very nice and welcoming.

The bed was creaking a lot

The most welcoming owner Yianna made our stay so special. Thank you sooo much! Woooow what a beautiful place and location. Best place in Zakynthos or maybe even all Greece. Cant wait to be back!

The stay at windwills was really cool - something different to remember for lifetime. However, one or two nights should totally do it (we had 3 nights booked). We loved the view of Kefalonia and the sea around which we had from the Stone Windmill. Breakfast on the balcony was just beatiful. The Stone Windmill was for sure the better choice as it is not possible for tourists to go around as it has its seperated area. The White Windmill is directly IN (!) the restaurant area - therefore I highly doubt that you have a pleasent stay there. However, the swimming area at the bottom of the cliffs are nice to swim and having a little snorkeling but it is kinda crowded and loud as well (you are not able to swim to blue caves in the daytime, although it seems pretty near there are always boats and you will feel very insecure).

Potamitis is not only a hotel/appartments but it seems to be very popular for eating as well as going down the cliffs to the water. Unfortunately there are coming not only ppl by car and quads but also by boat (even big boats after having their tour to the blue caves). Usually we were woken up by quads or restaurant music that are parked nearby.

Great location, just above the Blue Caves with a diving point just beneath the apartments! The apartments are very elegant, with stone walls inside and a modern bathroom. There is a restaurant that is really good, with a really nice view and delicious greek food. The owners are just wonderful: available, friendly and very kind 🥰 Thank you for these amazing days!!
