A real gem in a pretty location Immaculately clean throughout. Cleanest pool I have ever seen! Comfortable bed. Delightful and helpful host Andreas, very relaxed and quiet location.. Great base for touring the island by car. Easy 15 min drive to Argastoli, Aghios Georgos castle ruins with super views, the delightful Kastro's café just beneath it. Monastry and Vineyards also an easy drive as well as pretty Sami . Ate at 2 lovely family owned restaurants in nearby village, "Isalos" and "Cavo Liakas". Excellent food, service and good value, both recommended. Thanks Andreas for a very enjoyable stay.

Thera Retreat in Kefalonia is a true paradise. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by stunning landscape views that immediately set the tone for a tranquil stay. The property’s pool is absolutely amazing—perfectly maintained and surrounded by lush gardens, it feels like your own private oasis. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, offering all the comforts you could ask for. I also slept very well on the comfortable beds, big diffetence to other plafed in Grrece with hard matrasses. Each room also has a view that makes waking up a joy. The attention to detail in every corner of the retreat is remarkable. The owner is an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, and always available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It’s clear that they take pride in ensuring every guest has a perfect experience.

The property is set in beautiful gardens that overlook the sea. The pictures reflect the property really well. The balconies are spacious and look over the pool and sea. Everything is well maintained. Staff are all very friendly. Andreas the owner welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were on foot for our stay so we walked to the beach and the local restaurants, quite a hilly walk but doable.

Air con is only available in the bedroom and not the living room which makes the children’s sleeping space quite warm but would not put me off booking again.

Choosing Theros Retreat for our holiday in Kefalonia was the best decision we could have ever made. It’s a wonderful location, extremely peaceful and relaxing, with lovely gardens. Our apartment was very spacious, with a large balcony and the views from this balcony were simply breathtaking, both during the day and at night as well. Andreas, the host, is simply amazing and we really appreciated the warm welcome, as well as his hospitality and kind support. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay at Theros Retreat!

We absolutely loved everything about the property, we visited at the end of the season so it was quiet, but the care and attentiveness from Andreas and his family was amazing. The pool was gorgeous and the bed was beautifully cosy! 8 days into our 13 day stay, our baby girl got sick and had to stay in hospital for 9 days. Andreas was amazing, not only did he keep the hotel open for us to continue our stay - so we didn’t have to move amongst the chaos, he also came to the hospital to find us and see if there was anything we needed. The cleaners were fab, and even organised a bit of our mess. This was our first stay here, but we feel like we’re leaving having made some beautiful friends for life, and will definitely be back again. Beautiful family holiday. We liked everything, the rooms were very spacious and well equipped and we had everything we needed. Upon arrival it was very late and we hadn’t eaten. The owner stayed up late to help us and gave complimentary fruits and other food to make us feel welcome (including water and wine!). Staff cleaned every day and included fresh towels. The views and surroundings are just beautiful and complimented the say. 3 min walk to shop 15-20 mins from the beach. This will certainly be our number 1 choice when returning to Kefalonia, 5 stars!

Gorgeous setting, very peaceful and relaxing. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and well maintained. We loved the views from the pool and our balcony. The room was excellent, much bigger than expected with a large balcony. It had everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly especially Andreas.

Nothing! We did wonder if the bar area was ever open as it would be a fab spot for refreshments.

Quiet location and very attentive staff.Andreas was very helpful and we had cleaning service every day.It is a good value for money.

There is AC only in the bedroom so the living room gets pretty hot.There is a fan in the living room,but after a whole day with the sun it doesn't do much.Maybe a second AC unit in the living room would be an option..really,it gets very hot.

Andreas was an amazing host, was always available and got back to the property quickly when needed. The grounds are beautiful, the view is stunning and the accommodation is clean and spacious. We arrived late at night but that wasn't a problem and we even had a few essentials in the room (plus wine!!!). Would totally recommend a stay here

Nothing to dislike really. The bamboo has shot up so the pool isn't visible from the ground floor patio. Andreas said it was trimmed back but due to lots of rain in May and June it had grown very high again.

Superb location.Quiet but close to the beach. Beautiful view from our window. The apartment was brand new and very clean. Cleaning lady came every day but was very discrete.Lovely pool area with all sorts of facilities. The owners Andreas and Heleni were exquisite and easy to reach . My family and I absolutely loved the place and recommend it. We'll definetely be back. Francesca

We have no complaints whatsoever. We have been vacationing on Greek islands for the past 4 years and this was the best accomodation by far.
