A great beach nearby within walking distance. The buidlings and pool surrounded by beautiful outdoor garden plants in the hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms and facilities are a bit dated but function well and are more comfortable than newer modern ones.

Not really on a beach

Beautiful view. Nice, very clean rooms (and the property overall). Very helpful, friendly and polite staff. Car is a must if one doesn't intend to stay within the hotel grounds, though there is one beach in walking distance (never been there since we travelled every day). Tasty food if one has dinner from the main menu. Overall very pleasant experience.

We didn't get the exact room we booked, however the staff did their best to make up for it. Breakfast included in the price was average, especially fruit drinks that were some kind of artificially coloured and sweetened water (considering it is Greece we really expected some fresh orange juice that was EUR 4.00 at the bar). 2 swimming pools were nice (one for the adults and one for the babies) but none was suitable for kids aged 5-10. Small one was knee deep but large one started from 0.90m and immediately got deeper, so young kids were confined to the tiny area on one side of the bigger pool.

There were a lot of activies that the hotel had additionally organized. And it was quiet so it was easy to fall asleep.

The breakfast was mediocre and they didnt have a coffe machine they only had filtered coffee. We reserved a room on booking, however the room they wanted to give us didn't have the same view like the room we reserved. They informed us that they didnt have a room with the same view and that the area was fully occupied with different guests, so we had to stay 1 night in a different room. The next day they moved us to the room we reserved on booking.

The staff was so friendly just what you expect from the Greeks, our room had a sea view and was very clean, and air conditioning was very welcomed, as whilst we was there we had temperatures of over 30c . Breakfast was very good, and our room was cleaned every day, we enjoyed the pool area and the Greek night, we would certainly return. We love Kefalonia and the hotel was very well located to the airport and very easy to access this lovely island.

Nothing I can think of

I really liked the facilities. The pool has a beatiful scenery with palm trees and view to the Ionian sea. It is a great area to enjoy your breakfast also. The rooms are simple but all have view to the pool area and the sea.

Our room's aircondition was not working properly. Could not get the room cool on one of the most hot day of the summer. The hotel tried to look for another room but there was not availability. They provided us with a fan.

Overall it seems like a quality resort. The pool surroundings very nice and the pool itself perfect, deep enough, long and spacious. Sufficient count of sunbeds.

The rooms very really old fashioned, the breakfasts not much of a choice. Prices for the dinner buffet are overpriced, 25 € for a meal... Maybe, I suggest do more cleaning of the surroundings of the hotel buildings.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating! I found the location brilliant, you need a car for exploring the island but there is a gorgeous beach 6 minutes walk down the hill (a bit longer up as it’s quite steep!) which has two bars. The hotel restaurant is really tasty offering a la carte and set menus. Pool is really pretty too.

Breakfast was a little disappointing as would have really liked some fresher options like some fruit. Accommodation is basic, but that’s all I needed!

We liked everything. Althought it gives an old vibe hotel it is very well mantained and very clean. The room was very comfortable and was cleaned everyday. The breakfast very very good, our kids also liked it ( and this is unusual for them😅) The staff super polite, always smiling and very helpful. The pool has the most wonderful view. We also enjoyed happy hour coctails and very good greek music 😃

Liked it all and would return but would probably hire a car due to the remote (but beautiful) location. Some of the sunbeds around the pool may be due for replacement soon as quite a few have sagging, overstretched fabric so are a little uncomfortable.
