Absolutely everything. From the lovely warm welcome on our arrival to being given a gift of a bottle of home-made wine on our farewell everything was perfect. We stayed in the Poseidon Suite. Beautiful, modern, state of the art apartment. Ground floor, which suited us perfectly. On our balcony we had a lovely double heated Jacuzzi which was well used by myself. Everything in the apartment was controlled by a simple request to ‘Alexa’. The apartment was cleaned every day apart from Sunday, bedding and towels were changed every other day. The owners Gerry and Artemi are ever so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We have already provisionally booked for June and September next year.

There was nothing at all to dislike

We have stayed at Ocean Front Studios many years ago and now the rooms have been given an upgrade it is a great place to stay. The location is perfect. Cose to all you need i.e. local village supermarket good tavernas and cocktail bars also car and bike hire. At the studios the sea views across Lourdas Bay are fantastic. The room we stayed in was a loft room. It was smaller than some of the others their. But just what we needed. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and always on hand as they live close by. Overall, we couldn't have asked for better.

Lovely studios on the hill with great views. Walking distance to a beach (Although way up and down to Kannali Beach is very, very steep, takes about 20 minutes and should be avoided if you have weak knees or health issues). Studioroom was small, had a coffeemaker Nespresso, shower was small, bed was comfortable, everything very clean. Friendly owners, taxi worked out great. In walking distance are restaurants and supermarkets and rental offices for car etc. I enjoyed my weekend there very much.

You need a car or scooter to go around, all roads are steep, small, walking is hard. Kefalonia is very mountainous.

A spacious and clean apartment with a lovely terrace overlooking the garden and even the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and even has a nespresso machine. The host was super friendly and helpful, gave us great tips and recommendations for everything around the island. We especially appreciated that we could borrow the parasols from the apartment. Also, we were welcomed with a bottle of homemade wine and jam, which was amazing! All in all an amazing experience, we would definitely come again! Big thank you to Gerry for his hospitality!

Nothing, it was perfect!

Artemi and Gerry were extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the room was the cleanest and most comfortable we have stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and the facilities first class. Everything worked perfectly and the kitchen was very well equipped with good appliances including a coffee machine. The apartments have great views, lovely and peaceful but still within easy walking distance of some fab restaurants. We were so pleased with the service we received and the apartment we have booked to go back in september

Absolutely nothing, this was the best apartment we have stayed in, the hosts were fantastic,, rooms cleaned daily, and situated within easy access of all the beautiful places to see

Great place to stay! Gerry is very nice and welcoming, gave us great advice on what to visit and what to do during our stay. The room is large and had absolutely everything needed for the stay. The complex is very well maintained with lovely green grass. There are some pretty good restaurants nearby - 3 big grocery stores and a great cocktail bar. Although it's a bit far from a big city, the place is great - it's both quiet and has everything you need within walking distance! A nice Kanali beach is also 10 minutes away, which is very quiet and uncrowded. I recommend - a great balance between price and comfort. Thanks Gerry

Everything was just fantastic, except the 42 celsius degree weather, but for this you have AC in the room and nice beach near :))

Beautiful property decorated by Artemis the owner with Gerry her husband. They couldn’t be faltered on anything. It is a beautiful well maintained property by this friendly family. The room was cleaned very regularly. Not far to walk to the supermarkets and several excellent restaurants on a road higher than the property … 2 minutes in the car otherwise.

In 24 years visiting Greece, I think this is the best apartment rental I’ve been to. Nothing negative about it and the owners work really hard to keep up their high standards and friendliness. If you are beach goers it is a little far walking but by car there’s a number of nearby beaches to get to.

Gerry and Artemi are delightful hosts. The rented building is part of the family property but they respect their hosts privacy still dealing with their family routine & all the tasks involving running a very clean and tidy business. Artemi decorated each room in a unique, very tasteful manner. She takes turn with her husband to keep each room clean and regular change of bedding, towels etc… Gerry’s dad keeps a beautiful vegetable garden worth looking around among the citrus fruit and olive trees. Every room has welcome gifts: their homemade jam, a bottle of their own Robola wine, disposable slippers…home from home is the feeling. Very pleasant balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea defacing Zante island in the distance. I couldn’t praise enough these hardworking and friendly people & wish them the best of reports from the other guests.

Having travelled all over beautiful Greece over 24 years. This is the best property where I have stayed. I can’t think of anything, the owners could have made my stay more pleasant. Well done Artemi & Gerry for your hard work and sunny personalities. My stay was the highlight of my summer :)

The house is located in nice area where many locals live. It is just 20 min far from the airport and 5 minutes by car from the beach. Many good restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean, stylish with balcony situated on the sea. We enjoyed there as well the sunsets. You can find there as well small kitchen with basics so you can cook your breakfast or dinner without problem. The hosts were super friendly and always helpful. I highly recommend this place. If you rent a car, I believe it is a good location to choose.

Nothing specific

The hosts were personable and friendly, A wonderful greeting on arrival. The room was perfect, homely and comfortable. Everything that we could need was there for us .The addition of heating and air conditioning was welcomed for the time of year. Beautiful views over the Ionian Sea and bays. The grounds are well kept and aesthetic true to the pictures. The location was serene and the surrounding countryside is impressive with olive groves and mountains. In open season there are two grill houses five minutes walk turning left up the road. The main street has ample supermarket provision and Petros's was well stocked with all one could need - fresh bread, local honey, feta and eggs. A great selection of wines and spirits and local wine which is very pleasant. The walk to Lourdata is down hill and well signposted , dotted with a few eateries and a mini mart. The beach is a mixture of shingle to the far left and sand to the far right of the front. Water shoes are a must for all. The walk back is taxing and a good work out to be honest. The other beaches are a good stroll too, but ok. There is a taxi driver in the village whom the hosts can help you with. On a practical point, Kefalonia airport does not accept digital tickets via the app so you MUST print them out. There is an internet cafe in Agristoli which I found easy to use for this job. (the far side of the square) There is an glass bottomed boat you can take an excursion in the summer months. The other tip we were given was to eat in the square and not the front, the grill house was simple and wonderful as was the small Creperie. . A taxi from Agristoli to the airport was set at 20 euros, but the bus runs in the summer months. There are two duty free shops in the airport and what looks like a cafe outside the airport with outside seating should you arrive early.

Nothing to report here at all. The accommodation is fantastic and I would recommend the town for it's serenity and escapism. The beach wasn't the conventional beach one would expect but if you are looking to escape, you found the perfect Greek getaway with your decent footwear.
