We had a fantastic stay in Summer Dream - the room was great and the view was amazing. There was nothing to not like about this place it is really nice and the staff are very nice and helpful. To get this view though you are quite high up so need to be aware the roads are very steep. It is pretty easy walking down the hills to the beach ( Lourdata ) which I think is at least 1 Km but We got a taxi back up the hill at the end of each day which worked out perfectly for us. The bars and tavernas are about 150 mtr away and are really nice places. Overall This is a beautiful place and spectacular scenery and not overcrowded at all we were here in last 2 weeks of June 2025.

I can't fault anything - I would just add that Vlachata and Lourdata seem to be the same place or at least you wouldn't realise any difference - Lourdata beach is great with sunbeds and eating places and the water is fantastic and clear.

I had an amazing stay with Summer Dreem hosts! The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing summer getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always quick to respond to any questions and eager to make sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The location was great too—peaceful, yet close to all the essentials. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with nice view and beautiful garden. There was daily basic cleaning and tidying.The complex had parking slots. Close to the complex had super market, gas station, cafe, bakery and pharmacy. Owner gaves us many good tips on where to go. Local Beach is 5 minutes by car.

Both air conditionings were working poorly. Luckily 2 out of the 3 days weather was not so hot. One out of four window screens was not stable so we kept it close to avoid mosquitoes and other insects enter the room.

The best time we had in Greece was at Summer Dream in Kefalonia ! Christos the owner, I do not have enough great words to describe this man. Christos is the reason we had the best time here on the island, and I sincerely regret not having more time to just sit down and talk with him which was not able in the end during our too short 5 night stay. The way we were welcomed on arrival was really special stuff, the hospitality, the life lessons on Greece we were shared, and then the detailed itenary Christos provided on multiple A4 sheets of paper, ranging from best : beaches with diagrams, supermarkets, restaurants with the best prices, locations in Kefalonia to see from a locals perspective to avoid the overcrowded tourist frenzy. We kept these "cheat sheets" and referred to them throughout our stay. Anna the cleaner/room service lady did an amazing job on a daily basis and we always came back to the cleanest rooms at the end of every day, this was above our expectations and we are extremely thankful for this service. The location itself was really excellent, set near the higher side of the mountain with spectacular views from both the outside grounds and also the balcony that provided good sea views. Very close to 2 wonderful beaches, Lourdata and Trapezaki beaches. We will hopefully come back to Kefalonia one day, and we will surely not hesitate to stay at Summer Dream and hopefully this time spend more time talking to Christos ! Thankyou so much once again Christos for your amazing hospitality, and sorry that Mira and I did not find the time to talk more after our first evening, it was very hard to find time with the kids.

Costas is a great host. Told us from checkin everything that was to known: restaurants, shops, beaches, bars. Everything. The accmodation is basic, but with all needed for a vacation. Very clean, quite big bathroom. Hot water at disposal. Air conditioning was working well but you could not sleep with it on as it was above the bed. Quite hot during the day as we were at the to floor, but at night it was ok. The apartments are near the main road. No noise from the cars as the windows are to the sea. Great view from the balcony.

Everything was fine. The only downside is the house is up on the hill. In order to reach to the beach, to any beach, you need to take the car. Considering how many beautiful beaches are in the area, this is not a problem. You need to go by car anyway.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations! We had a room with a breathtaking view of the sea, Lourdata and the island of Zakynthos. The room had all the amenities we needed for our stay, working air conditioning and most importantly an excellent and helpful owner. He advised and showed us all the highlights of the island. Since we love local Greek cuisine, we were also given lots of tips on restaurants to try. Throughout our stay he was interested in us and checked to see if we were missing anything - excellent service. We would recommend having your own or hire car when staying at Summer Dreams as it is a long way to the beach. Access to the car park is fine, but could do with some directional signage to guide you to it from the main road.

Very nice apartment, perfect for a family of four. Baby cot available. Supermarkets close by. Nearest beach at only 5 min drive. Very friendly owner, who gave many information on nearby facilities and island attractions.

We could not benefit at full of the daily cleaning service because it was performed around 13 when we were back to let our kids rest. Cleaning times could be better communicated. Cleaning supplies in the apartment could be more for self cleaning.

Our apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning! We loved the location - quiet but easily accessible, close to local shops (minimarket, bakery, coffee shop) and with several beaches just a short drive away. Christos was a fantastic host - super welcoming and full of tips for where to eat, drink, swim and visit. Even in late July, nowhere in Kefalonia felt overly busy or crowded with tourists.

Fantastic view from top floor - but keep in mind the sun will shine on your balcony basically all day long (therefore it is quite difficult to enjoy the view during the heat wave, as happened to us). Big room, comfy bed, enough stuff in the kitchenette. The road to the beach is quite steep and the beach was very crowded, so we just enjoyed other great beaches.

Mosquito net for the bathroom window would be of great help.
