We love the style of the hotel, with rooms situated through beautiful gardens. The rooms are spacious and modern. The pool and reception area have a wonderful view out to sea and out towards Zante. Most days there is a lovely afternoon breeze.

Not much to dislike here. We came 5 years ago and our only negative observation was that some of the nice touches at breakfast are no longer there. Prime example being Kefalonian honey in a jar being replaced by sachets of bland, watery honey. Fresh fruit was also poor. Melon was rubbery and overripe. At a taverna a couple of hundred metres away we were given amazing fresh watermelon- so it seems an oversight that the hotel can't do the same. Those little touches would take it from a very good stay to something special - and wouldn't cost a great deal

Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. Very relaxed ambience with excellent coastal views from the pool and dining area. Evening meals though not included in the price were of a very high standard if with a rather limited choice. Spotlessly clean.

The location is awkward if you do not hire a car or are happy to use taxis. The nearest bus route is a 25 minute walk away as is the nearest (basic) supermarket which limits the usefulness of the cooking facilities in the room. The constant background 'musak' created a rather soporific atmosphere. The patio area in the room was very limited with a poor outlook.

Position is exceptional, they ahave a nice view from the common areas and the first floor rooms, it's far from the downtown mess and it is very close to a nice beach (Leivatho) and to a coupla good restaurant too, other nice beaches are not so far, Breakfast is good, they serve good local stuff, as an example bougatza spanakopita and tyropita an other local sweets, but also more standard stuff sweet and salty. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, kitchen part is a bit small but functional. Staff is friendly and efficient.

This time we were not so lucky with air conditioning a little difficult to fine tune, water has lot of minerals so toilets and faucets need some maintenance. In the last day of stay wifi didn't perform so well and unfortunately the position is such that a foreign phone may have connection issues especially with data, but this last one is not an hotel fault. What disturbed us more was the status of the road to the parking lot, exactly with the some holes we found last year ... probably bigger ... a truck of gravel may improve it a lot.

The customer service excelled in every way, from the reception to the kindest girls at breakfast. We had the garden room which we loved, very clean and beautifully designed! The little patio had nice privacy. The grounds are stunning and so is the view from the pool. The breakfast was very good and so was the dinner we had. Overall an amazing experience definitely the place to stay!!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, just a couple of suggestions. It would be good to change the toaster in the dining area - it looks old and seemed to have issues at times when we tried to use it. Actually investing in one with more than two slots or at least have two so the guest don’t have to wait would be a good idea. Another suggestion would be to replace the bin in the bathrooms - those tend to rust and look really worn out - again these are just details that simply will show the guests that they take note of details and maintain an upscale standing

Room was exceptionally big and provided, besides a comfortable bed, a small sitting area, nice terrace, a kitchenette we could prepare coffee early in the morning. Room was tidy, cleaned each day, and a problem detected in the toilette , was taken care of in a matter of minutes. Breakfast was more than satisfactory, nice assortment of ingredients, served in a lovely area inside and outside the dining room Beach was nearby, reachable by foot or by car- sloppy road leading to the beach which is , like most beaches, rocky. The hotel runs a nice shop with modest prices similar to those in regular stores One of the hotel 's greatest assets is its staff- friendly, knowledgeable, very attentive and willing to assist- should be recommended: Angelina, Maria, Nikos and Takos but all the other employees as well. Place had in total an atmosphere of tranquility which affected the way we breathed

The road leading to the hotel should be fixed so that the angled slope is less sharp but I am not sure it is the hotel' s responsibility

The location is ideal - within walking distance to Avithos beach, Sarris winery and Avithos Preview restaurant - all of which we really enjoyed! The rooms are brilliant, loved having a kitchenette, the beds were really comfy and the outside terrace was beautiful. It was really clean too. The pool was gorgeous - amazing views over the sea and a nice temperature! For the majority of our stay there were plenty of sunbeds available too. The reception staff were always really helpful providing pool towels, and helping to book taxis.

The wifi was a bit hit and miss - would have expected a faster and more consistent connection. The hotel gym had a few bits of equipment which did the job but was perhaps a little dated. The breakfast spread wasn’t a huge range of options, would have liked more fresh fruit and pastries variety.

The place has a modern aesthetic which I really appreciated. Breakfast was great. The pool area was in a lovely setting. The location of the hotel is interesting, about a 5 minute walk downhill to a Blue Star beach with 2 restaurants on the way. Parking was easy and they have a lending library of books. Sufficient gym to get a run or cycle in. Also has a ping pong table. Make sure you have a car to get around unless you know you want to just stay put. George the manager greeted us upon our arrival and bought us a round of drinks. Nice touch! This place is also away from a crowded strip of hotels and restaurants that are on the north side of the airport.

It was really hot during our stay so they could've air conditioned the reception/breakfast area which was a decent place to hang out since it had a bar. The only option to be in airconditioning was in our room. When it's over 40 degrees Celsius it would've been nice to go somewhere to read our just be "out" without having to retire to the room.

The location was perfect - beautiful views of the coast and easy access to a beautiful beach which we later found listed on tours from the north of the island. The staff were charming, very professional and always helpful. The selection of food and drink was excellent too. Our flight had been delayed so our arrival was much later than expected but the warm greeting and complimentary glass of wine by the owner was really appreciated.

Possibly more places to sit in the shade when temperatures were high. But this is a minor issue.

Little gem of a hotel! Very nice, clean and quiet in a walking distance to the beach and two restaurants. Good breakfast with great coffee and very courteous staff.

It would have been nice to have coffee in the rooms.

Piped music in restaurant and around pool too loud and intrusive Sign on reception on arrival say credit cards will be only taken in traveler's own currency (i.e. not Euros) very annoying - not prepared to pay such a surcharge - so didn't bother using hotel bar or restaurant
