Great and clean little room walking distance from the airport terminal for a late arrival or early departure. Pretty garden where the delicious authentic Guatemalan breakfast was served. Neighborhood was pleasant with lots of locals walking during the day. You can walk about 1.5km to the archeological museum and an area with restaurants, but only during the day.

There was no sign on the property, so it was a little disconcerting to ring the bell of what looked like a private house after dark. Be sure you know the address and look for the proper number and ring the bell when you arrive -- they came out promptly and welcome us inside the attractive compound.

For staying by the airport, this location is great. We were able to walk to GUA within 5 mins from the room. Overall, the space was very clean.

Prior to the stay, I was communicating with the host and they said that they could provide breakfast early (at 6am) since we had an early flight. However, when we got to the property, they said that breakfast couldn't happen until 6:30am. When we left around 6-6:15, the receptionist asked if we wanted breakfast, but it was too late. Which makes me think they were being dishonest so they wouldn't have to do extra work.

Due to flight delays I arrived at 3am and was nervous about navigating my way there, but it was a very short walk from the airport and I felt totally safe! All the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

Staff are beyond helpful. Before we had even arrived they 1. Agreed to store luggage for us 2. Had a chat about arranging some food/drinks due to our late arrival and 3. received cie ed a delivery of medicine I'd organised from another country. Staff 20 out of 10. Location is great, it is actually a 5 min walk max from the airport. The room was large , comfy bed , great value.Had.to leave early so no breakfast but they did bring a coffee tomorrow room which was good. If you need a hotel just a few mins walk from the airport , choose here.

I traveled with my mom and sister and we needed a place near the airport for an early flight the next morning. It's walking distance from GUA! We also walked to the zoo and Mercado de Artesanías. The beds are very comfortable and the room was spacious. The whole place was very clean too. They also let us store our luggage before checking in and after checking out. We bought traditional dinner at the hotel and it was delicious too

The city with all it's buildings and business is on the opposite side of the airport. If you're looking for Night life, chain restaurants, and bigger stores you'd need to Uber from here.

Hostal is a maybe two blocks from Guatemala airport. Perfect for an overnight stay if your flight arrives in late. Take a quick cheap Uber to the location. Solo female traveler friendly. You have to ring the doorbell to be let in. If you’re a light sleeper, the walls are extremely thin here. Ask the front desk for a fan like I did and it helped a lot. Also, take an eye mask as it has a ceiling sky light. Breakfast is a traditional Guate one but does the trick.

As mentioned by others, the hotel is literally 5 minutes walk away. If you are a backpacker without 10 suitcases, there is really no need to get a cab (they also overcharge like crazy for such a short distance). The hotel is guarded, kept clean and overall nice looking. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, the complementary breakfast was tasty and filling.

The only 2 downsides for me were: - the room that I got had no real window, neither it had an AC so there was no airflow inside, the air got hot and stuffy easily. - hotel’s location is great for an easy access to the airport but if you stay a bit longer, be informed that there are no restaurants in the area (. maybe only the Subway at the airport?). However, you can buy some snacks from the hotel reception.

We love staying here after and before our flights in Guatemala City because it is very close to the airport and safe with a gated entry. The staff are so kind, the premises, rooms, guest living area, outdoor dining area, garden, and rooftop veranda are so nice and peaceful. Very nice garden with many flowers! Breakfast and coffee are included in your stay, and they have filtered water available to fill your water bottles. Our outbound flight got delayed and they were able to accommodate us last minute which was a blessing at the end of an adventurous trip! It was so nice to stay here again!

Walking distance to the airport, friendly staff (I asked for a more quiet room and got one without hesitation), quiet and green garden area. Coffee is being served from 6:30am onwards, breakfast shortly thereafter. The traditional breakfast is very good and glutenfree (if you need that option).

There was not much water coming out of the shower (although this was only the case during my second stay, first time around I had a different room and the shower was great!). I would have appreciated a milk alternative for my coffee, but that is complaining on a very high level.

The location is wonderful if you need a place to rest between connections. Only 5 minutes from La Aurora International Airport. The bedroom and the bathroom were comfortable.

The bathroom and the bedroom were separated by a common/public corridor, which was pretty unconfortable. The breakfast begins at 6:30 am, but it is necessary to select an option from a menu, then the meal is ready near 7:00 am.
