Location was great. It was within walking distance of all the major historical sites and plenty of restaurants. The rooftop was beautiful and peaceful. Great area if you wanted to read. Most of the staff spoke English. The rooms were very clean and modern. They also had a ceiling fan which helped when it was hot.

We booked a shuttle from Antigua to Lake Atitlan with the front desk. We thought that it was going to be a shuttle that had at most 10 people, but it turned out to be a huge passenger van with about 20 people. It was very tight seating for a 4 hour journey. It was not explained to us that this was a large shuttle van and that it was only dropping off at the boat launch area of Panajachel. We were not the only ones that were surprised with how the shuttle worked. I would recommend that the front desk print off a sheet with information about the shuttle so people know what they are booking.

The hotel is very well located downtown Antigua. The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel is overall cozy and there’s a lot of areas to chill.

The pool is located in another hotel that is two blocks down the road. There is no restaurant and for breakfast. You’re gonna have to walk three blocks to go to another restaurant where you gonna have a discount. The restaurant they recommended is actually pretty good and located right next to the main attraction of Antigua, the yellow Clock door. The downside is that on weekends it’s located right next to to great wedding facilities meaning you’re gonna have some loud music until midnight. That was a bit the downside, knowing that we had to wake up at 6 AM to go hiking the volcano.

I absolutely loved this place! We stayed here for a week and worked quite a bit from the hotel as well. The wifi was everything we needed, the hotel is in an incredibly central and walkable part of the city, the staff was great, and the open air vibe of the hotel is lovely. The artwork, color, and attention to detail that fills the space is great. Everyone was very helpful and we loved hanging out here. 10/10 recommend!

The walls are a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors a bit, and the fan only turns on when the lights are on, so sleeping was sometimes a little difficult. The room we booked was on the smaller side, and we had trouble finding space for all our stuff. We booked the cheapest option though, so (as expected), more $$, more room! Really though, this spot is fabulous.

This place was adorable. The terraces and shared spaces were so cute and comfortable. The rooms were tasteful and comfortable as well, if small. The location was great!

The bathroom had a weird smell… sometimes it was really strong like maybe the runoff from other people flushing toilets was going right under our shower drain.

This is really a beautiful property, decorated with lots of local art and a courtyard area. Very peaceful and calming. There is also a gorgeous rooftop view of the 3 volcanoes (you can actually see Fuego explode on a clear day!) and lots of areas to sit and relax, both in the sun and also shade. Staff was so friendly and helpful,, and kept the property very clean. The rooms were modern with excellent AC and good showers. Wifi is available all over the property, although the signal strength wasn't super strong, it was stable. As a bonus, there was free coffee and filtered water available all day. Located in one of the nicest areas of Antigua, within many luxury properties nearby, such as Convento Santo Domingo. I ended up extending my stay here, and would definitely stay here again when I visit Antigua.

Location is good, not too far from the main square and with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. Super friendly Staff. The décor is great, rooms are nice, the terrace gives you great views of the volcanos. The free coffee, tea bags and water (hot and cold) are very convenient. Everything looks and feels brand new and tidy, they really take care of cleanliness. Their laundry service is great and fairly priced. All in all, very good value if you need a place to use as your base to explore the region.

Staff could be a bit more prepared to give info on the attractions (but could’ve been just bad luck). No air conditioning isn’t a problem, just be aware of that if that bothers you.

The location is great, the staff were very accommodating, and allowed me to store a bag while I hiked an over night volcano excursion. I will be back.

My the second night others hotel guests did not respect the quiet hours outside of my room (10pm)when I needed to get up very early for a volcano hike. My other night was fabulous. It had nothing to do with the hotel but rather a larger group of friends traveling together and staying here too.

This is an odd review because we booked at this hotel but they had maintenence issue so they had to move us to their sister hotel Hotel Casa del Parque (both AHS hotels) which looked very similar inside (so I’m assuming same). I loved the bright decor, murals, courtyards, decorated porches! Rooms were spacious/super clean, high ceilings, helpful staff - my favorite place we stayed for the whole trip!

The location of this hotel was about 3-4 blocks further away from park/arch/church than the hotel we actually stayed at - again, all AHS hotels. So, two thumbs way up but if you could pick a location then try Hotel Casa del Parque instead (Antigua is small so not a big deal either way). Casa del Parque had a swimming pool and amazing views of the volcano Volcan del Agua.

Really appreciated this hotel. It was clean, there was free potable water, location was close enough to everything but far enough that you avoided excessive street noise. The staff helped me arrange the shared shuttle bus from Antigua to Panajachel (which I paid 144 Quetzals per person). Wifi was strong and reliable. Bathroom was very small, but it served its purpose. Water pressure in the shower was strong, and appropriate temperature. No AC but there was a ceiling fan in the room, and the temp didn't require AC anyway.

The location was perfect: central and quiet. The hotel was nice and the room clean. On a clear night we would be able to see the volcano Fuego erupting from the rooftop. We arrived quite early at the hotel, we were lucky enough to be able to check-in earlier!

The room was quite small with a lot of the beds in it so we could hardly fit our suitcases. The rooftop could be better maintained as it was not looking like on the pictures with the long chairs and cushions, it was a bit more basic.
