The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and kind. Arnold was just lovely to our family and he felt so genuine and warm hearted. It was so sweet to have the staff say hello daily to our son and remember him by name. Location was perfect, easily walkable to points of interest and also easy to grab a tuk tuk to anything further out. Breakfast was fantastic every time and you cannot have a better view to start your day. The rooms were very clean. Would stay here again and would recommend to others! We really loved our stay.

Our room felt small for our family, but we booked last minute. They definitely have bigger rooms that we would choose next time.

This property is in the absolute best location within walking distance of great restaurants, cafes etc. Had such a at home feeling staying here.

We loved this stay. We booked the 3 bed room. The breakfast on the terrace was really good, the women at the front desk was very attentive. We were able to leave our bags there overnight while we did a tour to Acatenango. The parking is only a couple of blocks away, very accessible. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom where clean. It is possible to change USD to Quetzales at the front desk (yet not much $50 in our case and at a lower rate 6.5). We would definitely recommend!

The only thing would be that the windows that face the inner courtyard have curtains - they do the job of keeping light out to an extent and not being see through of course. Yet, during the day if you want natural light and open the curtains, you’ll have little privacy

Great location, staff and building. Only challenge was how treacherous it was to take a shower. The shower floors are extremely slippery. My young son fell twice and I had a slip up. They need to put some anti-slip mats because it’s quite dangerous taking a shower. Otherwise, we quite enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is right across from the jade museum, a half block from an artisan market and 2 blocks/4 minutes walking from the main square. It’s also 10-15 minutes walk from several artisan markets and great shops (we liked the big market in the square next to condesa cafe the best) The hotel has a great rooftop, and if the weather is clear you can watch fuego volcano erupting in the distance and have great views of Acatenango. The breakfast is really nice. We had a room on the second floor, so we didn’t experience any of the dampness that others have complained of. We also didn’t really hear any noise after 9pm-so we are either less sensitive, came during a lower tourist season or were too tired to notice.

We, as many have said, did have a lot of problems with the hot water BUT if you go to the desk they can fix it. Not sure if they turn the hot water off or if the heaters turn off at a certain point but they’d turn the hot water heater back on and within 5 minutes or less there would be hot water again. Annoying for sure, but not really a huge impact on our stay. Otherwise everything was great!

Location is great for exploring Antigua. Roof top terrace served very good breakfast and great views. Gerardo who worked the evening reception was tremendously courteous and professional. There was also an excellent lady in the mornings but didn't catch her name. Everyone we encountered working here was so nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Initially I got room 211. Doesn't have a wardrobe nor any place or hook to even hang something. As comfortable as the beds were, it's a bit of an issue as I was staying for 4 nights. Lady in reception easily changed the room for us after the first night. But something to consider, hence why it's not a 10 score, had to pack again for the move. A pole with hooks would come in handy!

Good service from the reception and hotel reservations area, they respond quickly. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the impressive view from the terrace, where the restaurant is located. There they serve breakfast or it is also possible to have lunch à la carte. Excellent location to walk from and explore the whole town.

The shower space is very small, the water from the shower wets the entire bathroom floor and this is uncomfortable. We thought that for the price charged for the room with a king size bed, it would be more spacious and with a view of the internal courtyard, but no.

Excellent in most ways

Only one electric power outlet in the room which is inadequate should have another one near desk and rooms quite small.

Location was close to everything, free breakfast was good! Front desk was nice and helpful. There is free water fill up station and they offered to hold our luggage since we got there earlier than we could check in. Excursion planner was helpful and gave us a map of the city and suggestions on places to eat and visit. Great view of volcanoes on roof.

Inside room was a little loud as we were near the stairs and our window opened to the inside of the hotel.
