It’s in a great location around everything you need. The outside garden was beautiful breakfast smelled great but I missed it.

The beds were very hard and too uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and we were given the first room behind lobby and front of courtyard. We heard everything! The staff was ok but not really into communicating with guests. When I checked out at noon as you are supposed to I was waiting in the lobby for my taxi when I needed to use the bathroom. I asked the front desk to use the lobby bathroom and she said no. I couldn’t believe that after I stayed.

The room was lovely and pretty big and the bed was very comfortable. There was a closet and dresser which were very helpful since we stayed 6 nights. There was a garden area for breakfast which was included. The food was good, mostly eggs offered. I wish there were a few more options like yogurt or pancakes but it was fine none the less. The staff was helpful and nice. The location was excellent. Finally, there's a staircase to roof with a view of volcanoes, probably erupting if it's a clear view!

The only thing I would say was a negative is that the rooms face the interior breakfast area. Breakfast starts at 7:15 so there was a bit of getting ready noise heard from the kitchen area pretty early. Nothing can be done about it and it wasn't very loud but something to consider if you like to sleep late!

Loved the location of this hotel, very close to the center of Antigua. The design of the hotel is beautiful, loved the interior gardens. The rooftop is accessible from 7:30 am to 5 pm and the views up there were amazing on a clear day. The breakfast was delicious. The room had everything I needed for a great stay and the staff were very friendly and welcoming - big thank you to Guillermo Hernandez especially for making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible.

There’s really nothing I can say about this hotel that I didn’t like. My first day there the power went out for like 6 hours but it wasn’t just at the hotel, this happened at almost every building around it as well. It wasn’t the fault of the hotel though so I won’t hold it against them.

The breakfast was superb. The breakfast area is in a tropical garden that is filled with exotic plants and birds. Rooms are huge and cleaned every day with clean towels. A very quite hotel with a roof terrace with views to die for. Location is perfect for everything, restaurants, cafes, Santa Catalina Arch is a 2 minute walk.

The rooms are way too dark and no Tea/coffee making facility in the rooms.

A great location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds & good breakfast. Close to great food & drink options, with the hostel 2 doors away providing a good laundry service & rooftop bar. Also interesting history & artefacts from the building that stood on the site before the 1773 earthquake & some quaint antiques in the reception area.

The rooftop area closed early -5pm? Would have been nice to spend longer time up there

The property was beautiful, the interior courtyard is absolutely stunning, staff are fantastic, breakfast was lovely and the location is great - 5mins walk to all the sites.

The walls are THIN. So if you get unlucky and have neighbours who blare tv and music, talk (or go about their business) loudly - or all of these things like our stay - there’s no escaping from the room next door. Total luck of the draw!

Beautiful place! The room was spacious and the shower had great water pressure and was nice and warm. Location is in central Antigua, really perfect. The price was cheap, might have been because it's low season and booking, but for us it was a great deal. Breakfast is a selection between five different things, which varied from eggs or Omlette to toast with jam or fruits. Unfortunately the milk for the coffee cost extra (not much, but still a bit weird?).

The roof terrace is pretty but you don't have as nice a view as expected.

Beautiful historical building tucked away, but near everything. Lots of rules there… signs pertaining to use of towels, toilet tissue and flushing are posted all over the bathroom. Fees apply to those who do not obey. USD are accepted, but not readily welcome. All US bills are scrutinized. No marks, stains, tears, folds, etc.. Loved the style of the hotel, breakfast was well prepared, rooms were clean and large… quite beautiful. Sits atop an archeological site. Hotel arranged transport to airport was well executed. Overall, I would say this was an excellent value.

Not overly welcoming.

Best hotel of several I had stayed in Antigua during my trip. The rooms are very comfortable, have good quality mattresses and pillows, have hot water with good pressure, and are simply very beautiful. The garden was very impressive, one of the more beautiful in town with large sitting areas. The location is good, a 5 to 10 min walk to nearly everything.

My room was located in the very front of the hotel. You can hear a little noise from the road during rush hour. The rooftop deck is only open from 9 am to 2 pm

The hotel was very beautiful and the gardens were very peaceful. The breakfast served each morning was really filling and delicious. There is a small rooftop terrace that on clear days provides a good view of the surrounding volcanoes. The staff are friendly, helpful and had suggestions of places to visit that are off the beaten path and less touristy.

The hotel is very quiet compared to the busy streets outside. Our stay was very quiet for the first part, as there were hardly any other guests, but our last night we got another family staying next to us and we could hear every work of their conversations and so this place has the possibility to be very loud if other guests are in rooms next to yours. Our room was very cute, but had only two small windows so it was very dark all the time and had a dungeon feel to it. I know not all rooms are this way as larger rooms had windows, but I would say overall they are still dim inside.
