The room was nice, with high ceiling and plenty of light. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Excellent placement of the hotel, right in the town center. The staff was nice and extremely helpful (we had a slight misunderstanding with the booking but it was solved in no time).

The hours for the reception of the room could have been better. We had to walk in the city for two hours before checking in.

A great old hotel in the centre of town. Check in was friendly and efficient. Although the hotel is old it was clean and neat with a spacious room. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and sufficient. The staff recommended a restaurant for dinner which was affordable and tasty. Great location with everything nearby.

If you need to leave before breakfast time and previous evening you ask for a breakfast pack, you should get it. They have restaurant with kitchen, so it wouldn't be a problem to prepare it. Breakfast is included, so you should get it for your money.

Hotel was beautiful, staff were kind especially the older gentlemen who did the breakfast. Bed very comfortable, great shower, perfect location

Breakfast was limited choice

This is the classic hotel you dream about. Time has passed it by for a century but it is wonderful. Everything from large bedroom to perfect breakfast. Staff just do what is needed.

Hotel is the centre of the town on the main square. Classic old building. My room was extremely quiet and comfortable.

The bed was amazing, the room was big and the air con was a godsend. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, the first day it was terrible with cold rubbery scrambled eggs and warm sweating cheeses and meats, no orange juice, but the next day everything was fresh. On our last day you could tell it was yesterday's leftovers again. On the whole the staff were very friendly although one lady was very aloof and non communicative, a little frosty. The location is excellent and we had no issues with street noise.

There wasn't always someone around and we had to wait a few times to get back in the hotel as the front door had been locked and we had to leave our keys at reception. There was a phone number to call but it wasn't always answered. It was very hot outside, I was thirsty and needed a shower but had to wait 20mins at one point, not knowing how long I would have to wait. Also I wasn't given any info about how to find the car park, I sent a message and got a reply four days after our stay ended. Looking on Google maps I found the back car park, but did not know there was a public one a bit further away we were supposed to use. I was charged for parking even though I didn't use the designated space.
