Clean, spacious room with great lighting in. Debrecen is a vibrant but peaceful city to explore from here. Everything is in walking distance and the rooftop terrace has a great atmosphere. Slightly better than average breakfast with some vegetarian options (if they add some vegetarian sausages it would be perfect!). Luxurious bathroom with mist shower, but on the small side for 2 persons. Internet speed: 5mbit down/10mbit up (just enough for videocalls), you can pay a fee for premium speeds. USB C power outlets, Nespresso & water cooker included.

Some smaller feedback that could've improved the experience: * If room heats up during day, it's difficult to cool down. There is AC, but somehow it isn't very effective. * Bed is nice and firm, pillows could be firmer (very subjective though). * Curtain glider could be improved (feels a bit like you're breaking it on open/close). * No streaming services on TV (huge TV though!)

It's a goodvalue for money option right in the city center. Rooms are nice and clean, bed is comfortable, rooftop bar offers a nice view of dowtown with the Great Reformed Church. Breakfast just a wee bit overpriced, but there are plenty of better value for your money options within walking distance. (eg., Vintage World Cafe)

Breakfast per person is overpriced, so we went to an outside location and had a great meal for almost half the price. There was no decaf tea option (herbal tea), neither in the rooftop bar or in the room, and it would have been really nice to have a cup of tea at night. One of the glasses in the room had some white creamy stain on the inside. We could not use the parking garage as there was no more space, this capacity limitation should appear somewhere in the communication (currently it says free parking) so you know what to expect. Luckily, we could park not too far, but it is a payed parking zone. The best comment I ever had - the staff member found it surprizing that I will settle the bill and not my husband. Really? It was amuzing.

The modern and new hotel is located perfectly for our needs in a quiet alley close to Kalvin Ter. Our room 310 was quite small, but beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fantastic and the beds super comfortable. Both the restaurant and the rooftop bar look beautiful. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but also in nearby cafes and "peksegs".

The color changing lights on the facade of the hotel were visible from the room. Hotel Parking is quite expensive, but there are day tickets available for nearby street parking.

Nice hotel almost right in the center. Well-equipped rooms and comfortable beds. The price for two double rooms was not the lowest, but since we decided to stay overnight in Debrecen at the last minute, it was acceptable.

A small drawback was that the hotel no longer had a free parking space. The nearby city parking lot was completely occupied over the weekend, so the only option was to park in the nearby shopping center in the underground parking lot...from where, however, you either have to bring / take your luggage on foot, or get around by car. Another small drawback is that the already quite high price for the room does not include breakfast.

We had a great time. The hotel is situated at the center and at the same time in a quiet area. Most of the attractions, lovely streets, inviting cafes and restaurants are at a walking distance. (For example, the Reformed Great Church is about a two-minute walk from the Hilton Garden Inn.) The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, the rooms are bright, comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and have a balcony. Tech facilities are available. Parking is not a problem even with a rooftop box. The midday check-out time is very convenient. The 24/7 fitness room opening times is also an asset. The buffet breakfast, which is both continental and full English breakfast, is delicious. The children especially loved the pancakes and were amazed by the pancake machine. Nagyerdő Park with Aquaticum Aquapark and Thermal Bath is close by with the tram. Getting to the number 1 tram stop, which goes there, takes only about three minutes from the hotel and the travel there around 10 min. We had a very nice time at the Hilton Garden Inn.

You should check the opening times of the Bar and Terrace thoroughly. They may hold tasting events at the open terrace.

This is a brand new hotel and it was just opened a couple of days before our arrival. Everything was super clean, new fresh and tidy. The breakfast was one of the best you may probably get in the hotels in Debrecen, the food was top quality , you can even get shrimps in breakfast. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing, definitely worth having a drink during the sunset even if you do not stay in the hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, all important places are within walking distance. The first couple of ratings are not fair for this hotel I think. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this definitely deserves more rating than those initial ones.

If you are a family with more than one child, this is not quite the hotel where you can fit comfortably. There are limited connecting rooms and no need to mention the standard size of many rooms where it's not possible to stay 4 people at all. If you come by car and parking your car under the hotel is essential for you, then you may hardly find an available spot in the garage and going down the garage with lift can be challenging for you too. Due to the recent opening of the hotel the payment via Szep Card was not possible yet. Please check it in advance if you are from Hungary and planning to pay the accommodation with Szep Card.

Excellent location at the heart of the city. Easy to reach by all public transportation and and by foot. Very close to all restaurants, coffee shops and main attractions in Debrecen. The hotel has a very nice rooftop bar and restaurant overseeing the city. It is located in a quiet street and rooms are well isolated. We had a wonderful stay!! Staff are very helpful and the manager was super nice and friendly. A great choice!

New hotel. Very clean, with great attention to detail. Comfortable beds. Excellent location. The kitchen is good, and the rooftop bar is a fantastic spot to unwind – whether after work or a day of sightseeing.

The only issue is that the staff are still learning the ropes. They're doing their best, and it's clear that with time they'll find their rhythm and routines. Once that happens, this place will be truly excellent.

I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for rest. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help.
