Central lokation. The unique architecture of the hotel. Despite 2 stars, the hotel is clean, the room is clean, good breakfast for 2 stars. It was enough for 1 night in the hotel.

The receptionist usually has to be on site from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. I couldn't get an answer to my question. On the morning of my departure, the girl talked on the phone for a long time and didn't pay attention to me, and then she left the hotel for about 20 minutes. Even the workers who brought some materials for the hotel were looking for her. Because of this, I simply left the room key on her desk and had to call a taxi myself so as not to be late for the meeting. In addition, keep in mind that they only put a small paper bag of hair shampoo, which is enough only for a man to wash his hair.

The best location for the historic centre of Pècs. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the room was spotlessly clean with vanity unit, armchair and mini fridge. Breakfast was a choice of eggs with ham/cheese/bacon, frankfurters or ham & cheese platter plus coffee, tea, juice or milk & cereal etc. Very good value for the money and we would definitely return if we happen to be in the area.

The bathroom for our room was rather small. It was as just about ok for us, but anyone with a larger build might struggle. Other bedroom had larger bathroom.

the hotel is in the very center of the town, old-style hotel, neat and clean, good value for money breakfast was ok, parking was not a problem because you buy a ticket at the hotel, staff is friendly , the room was spacious with a balcony, which we liked

Hotel Főnix is a quaint and relaxing place with so much charm right near the historic centre of Pécs. The location is fantastic. The staff were all very friendly, and when I was having repeated issues with the WiFi a receptionist went above and beyond to help me solve the problem. The temperature reached 37 degrees one day and I was thankful to have air conditioning in my room. I really enjoyed my stay here and would certainly come back when I am in Pécs again.

There was a bit of dust near the window and behind the TV and it looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom also had a bit of hair in it.

Hotel Főnix is a vintage hotel located in central Pecs near the city's best restaurants, cafes and bars. The rooms are modest, but functional and clean with good Wi-Fi. I had a single room and it worked perfectly for me as a solo traveler. What I really liked was the old school European hotel vibe. It reminded me of the places I stayed at during my first European trip in 1990. My rating is 8.5/10.

Excellent little hotel with a cute esthetic, in the heart of the center of Pécs. Friendly staff and definitely value for money. It also has a nice little restaurant/ pizzeria with vegan options. Overall a very fair and nice establishment

Some more shampoo and shower gel or condition would have been nice instead of little 6-7ml sachets. Also a hair dryer without a request. Some more plant based options for breakfast would be a nice addition for people that are vegan and/or fasting for religious reasons. But overall a beautiful experience still.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was good. The ladies were kind. The bed was conftable.

Our TV remote did not work. The connector in the bathroom was too high for a hair drier. The water in the shower was cold. You had to wait forever to use it. We had to ask for a different room. The first one was stinky .

The hotel was very convenient to the sights I came to see. The room was comfortable, and when I opened the window for fresh air there was a breeze much of the time. I liked the fact that the room was oddly shaped, with a sloping roof: not at all like the cookie-cutter rooms one finds in many hotels. The breakfast was ample and nicely presented.

The reception was on the first floor (not the ground floor) and accessible only by a narrow, winding stair. There was no map of the city, but I'd brought my own,

Good location, all the sights are close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly. A good breakfast is included.

The TV wasn't working. A hair dryer was provided, but it was a travel hair dryer that wasn't working properly.
