Our unplanned stop made us create a reservation late at night, the staff made sure we will have the correct room. All was peaceful and quiet. PS: We noticed a lot of bad reviews but decided to take a chance anyway.

The room we had was old (like "comunism" era - The walls were not straight, you had to play with the taps to have a warm shower and the curtain in the shower needed to be replaced a long time ago. Not to mention the tub. That was long overdue :-) Maybe the other guests had reconstructed rooms, but in our case it was an emergency stop so we were happy to have it as it was.

Lovely big hotel recently renovated rooms and nice quiet spa with a great sauna. Spa attendant is a lovely lady and very helpful, informative and welcoming. Pours a mean pint of Soproni too! Food was old school Hungarian fare buffet style and extremely tasty.

Charged double for a mistake with the booking.

It’s being renovated and it was noisy, although we didn’t stay in the room much. The room we had was an old one and the bathroom looked bad but the room was clean and good size.

I asked for HK service three times after two days and still didn’t get one.

The staff was very welcoming and kind overall regardless of my difficulties in Hungarian. I like the location and all facilites around (panorama, street-workout park...) and the wellness is brand new and very comfortable!

The carpets are still from the soviet era, and even though the look didn't bother me they retain a lot of smell which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but very old, not,really comfortable.
