Location

We had a room in the second building, ground floor (504) but in the front of the door was a jacuzzi which was at less than 1.5 m from our door and was used by the other guest until 10 pm which was not confortable for us ( for them was a surprise too that they need to relax while we were looking at them). Because of this inside the room was noise and you couldn’t sleep ! I think that this is not normal when you have guest in that room! So if you want privacy or simply silence don’t book that room! The door is awkward too because it a glass and you have a lot of light inside the room!

Good value for four star hotel. Despite its central location, the surrounding area is quiet. The room is spacious, clean, and equipped with new furniture. The hotel offers free use of the Finish sauna. The breakfast is strong, continental breakfast, and offers great variety. The staff is pleasant and hospitable.

The storage for the clothes is quite limited. This was not an issue for us since we traveled light and stayed only for two nights, but it could be for someone who packs more stuff or is staying for longer period. The price of the parking is on a pricier side compared to a day ticket of parking in a zone. I would appreciate it if it was lower price. The use of jacuzzi tub is charged (15 €), which was not obvious from the description on the hotel's page. You do get a private term. Overall, these were minor issues that did not affect my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend it to everyone and would gladly book again.

Our stay at Hotel Auris in Szeged was absolutely wonderful! One of the highlights was having a private sauna—a true delight! If you’re planning a trip to Szeged and looking for a good hotel, Auris is a great choice! I stayed there recently, and I have to say – excellent experience. First of all, the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, and the balcony is a perfect spot, especially if you enjoy having your morning coffee outdoors. The bed was comfortable, everything spotless – you can really tell they pay attention to details. Breakfast was amazing – a rich selection, from classic options to some Hungarian specialties. Honestly, I didn’t expect such good food in a hotel breakfast. Plus, the staff is super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The location is great – quiet, yet close to the center, so you can easily walk to the main attractions. Another huge plus – the hotel has a pool in the courtyard, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. All in all, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely come back! If you’re planning a trip to Szeged, Auris is a great choice!

Evertying was perfect

I spent almost a week there - working and resting, and for that, it was perfect! I booked a "superior" room which has a sofa and a kitchenette, and a regular sized fridge. The hotel is 5 min walking from the centre, very nice parks, a museum and a river there. The room is very bright, which I loved: instead of the dimly lit rooms you find in most hotels, the ceiling had about 50 led lamps. It was perfect for a week of creative work and rest!

Parking is very narrow, so if you have a bigger car, you might consider parking in the street by the hotel. It costs about the same, and it's a safe neighbourhood.

We've just enjoyed a one night stay here. Amazing! Check in: Smooth and helpful. Maps available and recommendations of local places to eat. Free lemonade and sweets. Rooms: Spacious and clean. Furniture on the balcony. Little touches like chocolate on the bed, coffee pods, and free body wash and hand wash. Breakfast: A wide range of options. Either hot or cold. Plus champagne. Pool: Great with Jacuzzi. We did not use on this stay. Staff: Friendly and so helpful. Location: In the centre of Szeged and close to all the bars and restaurants. Highly recommend and we will be back in the near future.

Nothing. Amazing stay!

please STOP putting perfume in the ventilation system. It is dangerous, even carcinogenic, and you can't sleep because of the strong smell. I had 2 luxury rooms but one of them had a view of the wall. So we can't call it luxury. I also asked for and received confirmation for a parking space (for a fee of course) and when I arrived at the hotel I was told that they had no more spaces. I had to pray for it and in the end I was allowed to park. There were 2 more spaces available, so I didn't understand why this attitude.

This hotel has been my choice for staying in Szeged for 3 visits already. We stay for a night and continue our journey the next day. The swimming pool helps as the weather can be too hot during the day. The breakfast is good, definitely nice location for starting your walk to get to know the city. Rooms are well furnished and well maintained. Keep in mind - no restaurant here, only cafe and breakfast (in the morning).

There is always some part of the hotel under renovation, on the other hand you get a well maintained and renovated hotel, so not exactly negative, i guess. Renovation teams stay out of the guest's way...

We had a lot of help of Athila, who did make sure we could look the football match Belgium Ukrenien in the room. The Pubb had no plve left and he booked a table in a nice italien.. the rooms we get are,alwaystop. As long i go to Greece oi will continue to book on my way. Go and back.

May be it would be good to provide a bottle of water? In previous time there was even a bottle of wine in my room, ha,ha. Before we n the Chech in there wasalwauysa juice? We travel 6 month a year and stop alwaysin hotels who provide closed parking, nice breakfast, nice rooms. Orion provide this.

We booked a family room and stayed for a night. Room had a big balcony looking over the hotels yard with private parking for 10-12 cars (we paid the parking 12eur for a night). Family room consists of two separate bedrooms with double beds (there is an option to choose single ones if you prefer so). Also, there is a kettle and coffee machine available with couple of teabags and coffee capsules. Location was great, close to city square (Dom Ter) where you can visit Szeged Eye and Christmas market (during December).
