Awesome, some of my observations: - very good location, if you want to visit Szeget or you are in transit. - free parking lot outside after 18:00 (M-F and weekends) or if you use it 08:00-18:00 you need to pay at the municipality - we have used the underground parking (15euro/night, need to see if you can book in advance since it's places are limited) - electric car charger in the underground parking - very good breakfast - comfortable beds - nice staff - ONE OF THE BEST DESIGN'S I HAVE SEEN IN A HOTEL!

There is nothing to be disliked. The proof is that we have returned here :)

Arrived late at night after spending ages at the Serb-Hungary border, so I was just looking for a place to rest for a night. The value for the room attracted me to Science hotel and I only needed a single room at a cheap price. Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the place is clean and nicely done. Yes, my room was small, but that's what I booked, and it was everything I needed. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom with everything you needed. I could grab a couple beers from reception and park the car underground, which was ideal as I had a lot of stuff in there. The parking is 15 euros a night, however but in this circumstance, I was willing to pay. Otherwise, I think street parking would be fine.

The only thing I can think of is the TV in my room, it had a remote that seemed like it would be a smart remote but only had cable TV in German and Hungarian. Maybe other rooms have newer TVs but that's the only thing I would suggest upgrading.

Amazing hotel with friendly, English-speaking staff! The room was super modern, clean and cozy, with very comfortable bed, Nespresso machine and reading nook. Clean and well-equipped bathroom. Perfect location of the hotel, in the center of Szeged, close to the river, bars and restaurants. Delicious breakfast with a variety of foods and very good coffee. A place you want to come back to!

Breakfast is served within quite a tight space, so you're constantly colliding with other people and you have to be careful, not to trip over someone or spill your drink. But other than that, everything is perfect.

The hotel was satisfactory overall. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean. Complimentary coffee and tea was a plus. The staff was warm and smiling. Spoken good English. The underground car park is also a plus. There was even an EV charger (though it was a bit pricey compared to the conventional EV chargers).

The bathroom looked quite modern but the shower's water collector holes were too small and the bathroom floor was slippery. Elderly and children can fall easily. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, but it was so noisy that we had to switch it off to sleep. Although nearly everything is exceptional, the price of breakfast 17 euros per person was a bit high.

We stayed one night at the Science hotel we had stayed at 5 years ago. It's a good hotel overall, young people at the front desk and in the morning at breakfast, smiling and friendly, with very little awkwardness to get over. Very good breakfast, paid underground parking with prior reservation.

What we didn't like about the room: very hot, even though we set the thermostat to 20 degrees, pillows extremely hard, can't sleep with your head on them. Bathroom looks good but ergonomically not ok. Sink for very tall people, fixed so very high. Very long water tap, you actually struggle to wash. Shower cubicle with drain but water runs out outside of it past glass partition. One night was ok, but more was becoming a discomfort to stay. We had a triple room on the 2nd floor. Next time when we get to Szeged maybe try something else.

Our room was nicely spacious and warm with very comfortable beds. The tasty breakfast was abundant with wonderful choice of everything. The paid underground garage has about 10 places, which is a bonus, but you can park free outside along the street, too. The beautiful cathedral is about 10 minutes' walk from the hotel and we were lucky, there was an organ concert, so we enjoyed the stay even more. Nice and helpful staff.

The street is rather busy, cars and even trams, so in summer it might be rather noisy there with open windows. But there is air conditioning, so they can stay closed... The garage is rather small, so it needs a bit of manoevring big cars like ours is.

This is my second time at the Science Hotel. I really liked it the last time here so I decided to return. The room was excellent, a very comfortable bed, a strong shower, an adjustable air conditioner, a coffee machine, a kettle. The only thing that I would change for next time is to ask for a quiet room - this one was facing the busy street which was a bit inconvenient for a light sleeper like myself. Other than that, everything was perfect and the Science Hotel will definitely be my choice for my next visit to Szeged 🤗

The staff were very professional and nice. We wanted to go out one night. It was raining and all the umbrellas in the lobby had been already taken by other guests. The young man at the reception kindly offered to lend us his own umbrella! We were very impressed by his kind gesture! The rooms were spotless clean and the beds comfortable. It has a good location, we walked everywhere.

I personally didn’t appreciate the music on the corridors. I know it is probably meant to be a nice touch, but I could hear it from the room when I wanted to take an afternoon nap.

The hotel is in an excellent location, the city center is close, as well as many sights that would be good to visit in Szeged. The price of the room is decent, we even had an upgrade thanks to Booking. The room was large, clean, with a terrace and a very nice bathroom, it even has a coffee machine. What I have to mention is the parking, which costs €33 for 2 days, it is an underground garage with a limited number of parking spaces. If you're going to Segedin on weekends, I read somewhere that parking is free on weekends, so if that's true, you can also park in front of the hotel and save money (of course, be sure to check this information) What I have to emphasize - the staff is very friendly and the rooms are heated so that you might at some point wish it was a little less warm. All in all, this is a very nice hotel, renovated, and my sincere recommendation as your next booking in Segedin.

Check-in was quick and easy. We were able to park in the underground garage, which was very convenient. The studio was spacious, and the shared areas were pleasant. The location was within walking distance of the city center, which we took full advantage of.

We didn’t notice in the description that the room was actually an apartment located next to the hotel. That meant we had to enter from an external door in a different building, which was a bit amusing — especially after parking in the hotel's underground garage.
