We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Auris. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the city center and close to many restaurants and attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom. It has Nespresso coffee machine and coffee as compliment. The hotel felt very quiet and peaceful, which made for a great night’s sleep. A special thanks to Vanessza at the reception — she was incredibly kind and helpful, and allowed us to leave our luggage at the front desk before check-in and after check-out, which made our last day in Szeged much more convenient. Her friendly attitude really added to the positive experience. Breakfast had a good variety and everything was fresh. Would definitely stay here again! Bonus: they also serve prosecco for breakfast!

For a 10 years old hotel, they are doing their best to maintain quality and good vibe. Young, nice and hopeful staff, attention to details (they make sure the air condition work well before our arrival, so room temperature was excellent after a 34+ Celsius day (in Salzburg and Melk, visited before they make their pride for not having AC and fridge so tourist have to endure the heat at double price), communicate with us 3-4 times before our arrival, in order to ensure we will have a nice (just) one night stay. For 12 euro, the breakfast is more than diversified (beware to Debrecen style sausage 😊) and regularly refilled so it doesn’t matter the hour your arrive at. Excellent location, they offer in site parking, 7min away walking from the Szeged so beautiful Dome. Really can't need anything more. Regards to everyone

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Auris in Szeged and can’t wait to return! The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the city center. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having on-site parking available for an extra fee. We slept incredibly well – the bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was outstanding, making it very quiet and relaxing. The hotel also has a pool, which looked great, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy it as we only stayed one night. Highly recommended!

Location

We had a room in the second building, ground floor (504) but in the front of the door was a jacuzzi which was at less than 1.5 m from our door and was used by the other guest until 10 pm which was not confortable for us ( for them was a surprise too that they need to relax while we were looking at them). Because of this inside the room was noise and you couldn’t sleep ! I think that this is not normal when you have guest in that room! So if you want privacy or simply silence don’t book that room! The door is awkward too because it a glass and you have a lot of light inside the room!

Good value for four star hotel. Despite its central location, the surrounding area is quiet. The room is spacious, clean, and equipped with new furniture. The hotel offers free use of the Finish sauna. The breakfast is strong, continental breakfast, and offers great variety. The staff is pleasant and hospitable.

The storage for the clothes is quite limited. This was not an issue for us since we traveled light and stayed only for two nights, but it could be for someone who packs more stuff or is staying for longer period. The price of the parking is on a pricier side compared to a day ticket of parking in a zone. I would appreciate it if it was lower price. The use of jacuzzi tub is charged (15 €), which was not obvious from the description on the hotel's page. You do get a private term. Overall, these were minor issues that did not affect my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend it to everyone and would gladly book again.

The bed was comfortable, everything spotless – you can really tell they pay attention to details. Breakfast was amazing – a rich selection, from classic options to some Hungarian specialties. Honestly, I didn’t expect such good food in a hotel breakfast. Plus, the staff is super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The location is great – quiet, yet close to the center, so you can easily walk to the main attractions. Another huge plus – the hotel has a pool in the courtyard, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. All in all, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely come back! If you’re planning a trip to Szeged, Auris is a great choice!

Evertying was perfect

I spent almost a week there - working and resting, and for that, it was perfect! I booked a "superior" room which has a sofa and a kitchenette, and a regular sized fridge. The hotel is 5 min walking from the centre, very nice parks, a museum and a river there. The room is very bright, which I loved: instead of the dimly lit rooms you find in most hotels, the ceiling had about 50 led lamps. It was perfect for a week of creative work and rest!

Parking is very narrow, so if you have a bigger car, you might consider parking in the street by the hotel. It costs about the same, and it's a safe neighbourhood.

The hotel is great, clean and new. The interiors are well lit, one can feel, that it is almost like at home. The beds were comfy, TV was streaming service-eligible, and the breakfast will serve all, really delicious. They have got two parking lots, one really close to the rooms. The staff was helpful, polite. Strongly recommend.

Internet connection stability and speed.

please STOP putting perfume in the ventilation system. It is dangerous, even carcinogenic, and you can't sleep because of the strong smell. I had 2 luxury rooms but one of them had a view of the wall. So we can't call it luxury. I also asked for and received confirmation for a parking space (for a fee of course) and when I arrived at the hotel I was told that they had no more spaces. I had to pray for it and in the end I was allowed to park. There were 2 more spaces available, so I didn't understand why this attitude.
